Part 25 The Wedding

Arnav was disturbed... Though he didn't have a good opinion of Neerav he didn't want to believe what he witnessed in front of his eyes. He believed that only inquiry can bring the truth out but Kapoors didn't want to do that. If they were not wrong, why didn't they want Neerav to be enquired? Their gestures didn't seem true. He removed his mobile and called Aman. Aman attended the call. Before Arnav said anything,

"What happened ASR? I'm hearing something rubbish about Neerav here..." Aman asked wearily.

"Yes, that rubbish is what happened here..." Arnav said in a low tone.

"Is that true?" Aman asked unbelievably.

"I don't know yaar..." Arnav sighed.

"What happened ASR?" Aman asked.

Arnav told him that happened in the guest room. Aman was horrified and also confused.

"I want to meet Neerav's friend," Arnav said.

"You mean Rakesh?" Aman asked.

"Yes, I think he will tell us what Neerav told us are true or not"

"What will you do if Neerav is innocent?"

"I will not let this marriage happen and will hand them over to the police," Arnav said wrathfully.

"I saw him going out of RM a few minutes ago," Aman said.

"Do you have his mobile number?" Arnav asked.

"Yes, I do... after all, he is working in AR," Aman said.

"Call him... ask him to come to RM" Arnav ordered him.

"Yup..."

Disconnecting Arnav's call, Aman was about to call Rakesh, saw him entering RM with a guy called

Kunal. Aman rushed to him and dragged him towards Arnav's room. Kunal also followed them.

In the meanwhile,

Leaving Neerav in his room, Ratna asked him to get ready.

"Mom, please, you trust me at least..." Neerav pleaded.

In no time, Ratna slapped him hard.

"Not one more word... why the hell did you drink?"

Neerav touched her head,

"Mother promise, I didn't drink..." he said meeting her eyes.
Ratna was taken back.

"They said you misbehaved with her...and the situation shows you wrong"

"Won't you believe me over the situation?"

"Does it even matter?"

"Mom, please save me from this issue that's waiting to swallow me, please..."

"You are in the lion's mouth already. What could we do now?"
Neerav gulped down.

"You get ready... I will talk to Dad for one last time"
Ratna said and left the room.

She came to Arvind who was in their room all frustrated. He looked at Ratna with bloodshot eyes that mixed up Ratna's stomach in fear. She made up herself and got the courage to talk to Arvind.

"Arvindji, listen to me... I know Neerav. He is not that bad. He would not have done so" Ratna pleaded.

"Every mother on the earth trusts their son blindly... they support him no matter what... you don't be one, Ratna," Arvind said annoyingly.

"No, I do not blindly trust him..."

Cutting her,

"I already told you I had seen him drunk in the office hours"

"We will talk to him about it later but this marriage should not happen. We know how Laila desired Chotte... she was behind him like mad... I don't get good vibes. Don't know why I feel like we will face many problems in our family if she steps into our family as Raizada Bahu"

"We could have been discussed it if we had given a chance... but now, we don't have the choice to choose our bahu. Being parents of the worst guy, we have to face the consequences" Arvind said painfully.

"He is not the worst Arvindji..."

"Could you prove?" Arvind raised a question.

Ratna was silent as she didn't know how to prove her son.
"Situation is clearly against us, Ratna. It slipped from our hands... do you think I will allow this to happen if we have a chance to stop this marriage? No... try to understand that"
Ratna's face hung. She already understood the situation. That's what made her nervous.

Arnav's room

Arnav was getting ready for his wedding. How happily, he got ready half an hour ago... These Kapoors spoilt his mood. Arnav saw Aman coming with Rakesh. Arnav's face lit
instantly, seeing Rakesh because he thought the problem will be solved.

"Where were you?" Arnav asked.

"I went to bring him. He called me and asked me to wait for him outside RM" Rakesh said pointing at Kunal.

"Is it, Kunal?" Aman asked the guy.

Arnav looked at Aman like, do you know him?

"He is an AR staff ASR" Aman answered Arnav understanding his look.

"Oh..." Arnav looked at the guy who nodded yes.

"How long did you wait for him?" Aman asked Rakesh.

"For twenty minutes..."

"Why did you go out when Neerav asked you to bring his dress from his room?" Arnav questioned him.

Rakesh shrank his eyes with confusion.

"Neerav didn't ask me to do so..."

"Didn't you force him to drink?" Arnav asked.

"Drink...? Like really, that too, on your wedding day?"

"Neerav told us..."

"whaaat! Don't know why he lay so... I'm not an uncultured man to do such a cheap act... this is why I didn't want to come to this wedding because Neerav doesn't hesitate to do such things these days... he even drinks in the office... but I didn't expect he would
drink in his elder brother's wedding and blamed me for that" he said painfully.

Arnav gulped down as he knew Neerav drank in the office. Arvind told him about it.

"What else he does?" Arnav asked.
Rakesh hesitated.

"Tell me..."

"Please ASR... please don't make me embarrassed...
he blamed me for something I didn't do. It doesn't mean I too can tell you about him... what if it's true...? I can't tell about my friend" Rakesh said feeling sad.

"Your embarrassment does nothing with us... tell us the truth..." Aman said.

Rakesh looked at Kunal.

"Could you please wait outside?" Rakesh asked.

Kunal nodded ok and left the place. Rakesh looked at Arnav nodded his head like *tells me*.

"He tried to misbehave with a girl in a drunken state in a cinema theatre one day..." he said in a feeble tone.

Arnav gulped down hard.

"He doesn't like you marrying Khushi... from the day you declared your idea of marrying her, he started becoming mad... in fact, he doesn't like your presence in India..."

Arnav knew Neerav didn't like him getting married to Khushi. He directly asked him not to marry her. He felt helpless. At the same time, he was furious too. According to him, Rakesh didn't have any reason to lie because he was Neerav's friend.

"ASR please don't tell Neerav that I told you about him" Rakesh pleaded.

Arnav nodded yes. Rakesh left the room.

"What do you think about him?" Arnav asked Aman.

"He is Neerav's friend. They roam together. I know that"
"Mmmm"

"What are you going to do?"

"What can we do? I thought we can prove him right with the help of Rakesh... what will happen if he says the same to the police? Damn it..." Arnav was weary.

"We have to face the consequence of our deeds ASR... what can we do...? Nothing..."

"Is there any chance for Rakesh to lie?" Arnav asked.

"I can't say that now... but I can find it if you give me time"

"It won't be useful," Arnav said.

"Leave it ASR... you tried your level best but it doesn't work. Just concentrate on your wedding. This is your big day... Khushi is coming to you with a lot of expectations... just think about it"

Arnav nodded yes.

At the same time, Arvind came in.

"Are you ready Chotte?" he asked.
Arnav nodded yes.

"Be cheerful... don't spoil your mood for someone's stupidity. Let's go" Arvind said.

Arnav nodded yes and walked out with Arvind. Aman followed them.

Arnav saw two stages were ready. He went to the first stage and sat. He saw Neerav coming with a sulky face. Arnav started performing the ritual with Pandit's guidance whereas Neerav seems disinterested.

The brides were called to the stage. Khushi came first and Laila followed her to the stage. Khushi came bowing down. When she raised her head she got stuck, seeing two stages and Neerav was also sitting in one among them. She frowned and looked at Arnav who gestured her to sit beside him. Khushi

walked to him and sat next to him and Laila sat beside Neerav who didn't care about her. Khushi couldn't understand anything as Garima and Buaji said nothing to her. They didn't want her to get disturbed on her wedding day.

Within a few minutes, their life took a 360-degree turn... in the name of marriage. But the TURN will be different from one another... Four of them are going to get a life they didn't expect... Yes, they will get life completely opposite to what they expected.

Atnav thought Khushi will take time to get into the relationship... Khushi thought Arnav will let her take
time to get into the relationship... Neerav wished to have a lavishing life... and Laila wanted to trouble Raizadas and also wanted to keep Neerav under her feet... All the above is going to be failed... nothing is going to happen as they thought...
