Part 14 Wedding date

Arvind and Ratna met the Pandit. What the Pandit told them satisfied them.

"Let's go to GH. We should tell the matter to Garima" Ratna said.

"Ok"

Arvind drove the car towards GH.

"I hope Shashi's soul would be happy now," said Arvind.

Ratna nodded yes.

"Thanks to Chotte for making this possible," he said emotionally.

"Yes, I too didn't think this will happen"

"I was wondering about his ability to run AR successfully. Without anyone's help or guidance he got succeeded... Now, I had seen that. He has his own style of dealing with problems"

"Yes... But I never thought he will take this problem into his hands and will marry Khushi" Ratna said.

"I wonder. He never liked to hear marriage talks. He got irritated with Kapoors. Then he agreed to marry Khushi. Not only agreed but also took the lead..."

Ratna nodded yes.

"I never know he respects us to this extend..."

"I have no doubt he respects us. But that's not the reason for him to marry Khushi." Ratna said.

"Means?"

"He has a soft corner on Khushi. After all, she had lost her father."

"You are right... This is what exactly Neerav should have done... I thought he would hurry to marry Khushi"

"We should not talk about Neerav anymore. Khushi is going to be Chotte's wife. She is going to become Neerav's bhabi. There is nothing to think about the past..."

Arvind nodded his head affirmatively.

That's when Arvind got a call. It was from Neerav. Arvind attended it.

"Tell me"

"Where are you, Dad?"

"I will tell you after coming to the office"

"Why not now, Dad?"

"Because this is none of your business," Arvind said.

"Why are you so bitter towards me, Dad?".

"You know the reason. We will get what we give others..."

"Dad, why are you emotional? Arnav is ready to marry Khushi but she doesn't accept his proposal..."

Cutting him,

"You no need to worry about it. Chotte will take care of it"

"He is wasting his time. Being his Dad, you have to make him understand that"

"I told you, you don't have to bother about Khushi's decision... Understand?"

"Ok, when will you come? We have a conference... That's why I called you"

"I will ask Aman to postpone the conference."

"But why Dad?"

"I and Ratna are going to GH..."

"GH...? But why?"

"I don't like to talk about Guptas to you. So, cut the call"

Arvind disconnected the call leaving irritated Neerav.

"Why are they going to GH? What so urgent to go there, postponing the meeting? Is it a usual visit or something important?" Neerav supposed.

Khushi was not getting bored of knowing about AR... Especially about the London branch. She will get more information about it if Arnav sends her the files and CDs. She thought.

Garima smiled, seeing the Raizada couple.

"How are you Garima?" Ratna asked.

"Fine..."

"Haven't you gained your energy back?" Ratna asked.

Garima nodded yes, understanding the meaning.

"How is Khushi?" Arvind asked.

"Yeh, Khusiiii" Buaji called.

Khushi came out of the room and got stuck, seeing her going to be in-laws. She didn't know how to react to them. Would Arnav tell them about her approval of the marriage? Are they here to talk about it? So soon...? she thought.

"How are you, beta?" Arvind asked.

Khushi nodded ok.

"We have discussed with our Panditji"

Khushi looked at them with a horrified expression. PANDITJI? She looked at Garima and Buaji who were also in the same state.

"Chotte said that Khushi agreed to the marriage. He asked us to discuss the wedding with our Pandit and fix the marriage"

"FIX THE MARRIAGE? " Khushi murmured.

"We just went to meet our Pandit and conversed with him about the marriage"

"What did he say? " Buaji asked.

"Panditji actually suggested that the marriage be done within the first year. So that the departed soul of the father can get some peace from the marriage"

"Within first year means? " Garima asked.

"We can do it tomorrow too..." Bauji said.

"Exactly... it's all about our wish and comfort" Arvind said.

"We will fix the date according to your wish," Ratna said looking at Khushi.

Khushi didn't know what to say. She asked TIME from Arnav. But the marriage process is getting geared up so hurriedly.

"As you say, Ratna" Garima left it on them.

"We will fix the date tomorrow itself as Madhumathi Di said," Arvind said smilingly.

Buaji liked him calling her DI just like Shashi. After all, he was Shashi's friend.

"We can fix the marriage after a month," Garima said.

Arvind and Ratna nodded ok delightedly.

"We will ask Panditji a few dates. We will fix one from them according to our comfort" Arvind said.

Garima nodded ok.

Removing his phone, Arvind called the Pandit and asked him to give them a few dates for the marriage. Khushi felt dizzy, seeing them acting so fast.

"We are leaving, Garima. " Ratna said.

"Don't worry, Ratnaji. We will take care of your Bahu" Buaji said teasingly.

Khushi looked at her widening her eyes. Garima gestured her to take blessings from Raizadas. Khushi bent down and touched their feet.

"We would like to see the same happiness in your face that resided on your face before, beta" Arvind said, touching her head.

Khushi plastered a smile.

Raizadas took their leave. Khushi stood there unbelievably. Her marriage is going to be fixed soon... in one or two days... or maybe, today itself.

"I can't believe Khushi's marriage would get fixed soon," Buaji said.

"I too didn't expect this Jeeji. Arnav bituwa is very fast"

"He is doing what he said," Buaji said.

Khushi went to her room silently. But her mind was not silent. She wanted to talk to Arnav about it. Didn't he say he will send her the laptop and CDs? He will surely call her after sending them to her. She decided to talk to him when he calls her.

Arvind and Ratna came to Arnav's room and knocked on the door.

"What Panditji say? " Arnav asked.

"He said we can do the marriage before the first year death anniversary of Shashi..."

"Before one year means, after how many days? "

Ratna was about to say something, Arvind said,

"We will do that after eleven months... am I right Ratna? "

Ratna looked at Arnav and nodded yes.

"Dad... he said before one year... and after eleven months? What the heck...!" Arnav asked.

"No no... it's our wish..." Arvind said.

"Then why after eleven months? "

"Then when do you want us to fix it? " Arvind asked.

"Next month? "

"Next month....?" Both of them asked.

"Haan... there is a show in London. I would like to go there"

"Ok, you go. " Arvind said.

"With Khushi as she is a part of our management team"

"A part of the management team? " Arvind asked shockingly. When did it happen?

"Yeah... didn't she ask for a job? So, I decided to make her a part of the AR London branch"

They wondered. Khushi... and a part of AR London branch?

"Oh..."

"So, what if she is a part of AR...?" Arvind asked.

"Dad, she needs a change. She can't get it if she is sitting in RM and rolling Rotties or being with her Amma and Buaji..."

They felt it true.

"Chotte is right..." Ratna said.

"Ok, when do you want us to fix the date? "

"Next month"

"Ok... we will talk to our Panditji. Actually, we went to GH and talked to Garima. She left the responsibility of fixing the date on us. " Arvind said.

"Oh...did you went to GH?" Arnav raised his brows.

Ratna nodded yes.

"By the way, from when Khushi is going to work for AR?" Arvind asked.

"From tomorrow onwards..."

"Did she know about it? "

Arnav was stuck... what could he say? Seeing their surprising expression Arnav got to know Khushi didn't say anything to them accordingly. Maybe, she would not have gotten a chance to tell them about it. she might have been shocked about the marriage date.

"Going to ask Steve to send her Mail in the evening. "

"Ok go ahead... I have a meeting. I'm going to AR" Arvind said.

Arnav nodded ok. He sighed in relief. It's better if he updates everything to both Khushi and his parents. It's very hard to lie. He thought.

Evening

Khushi was thinking about Arnav all the time. She was expecting the Laptop and files of AR. Arnav will send it to someone. She thought. But, to her surprise, Arnav himself came to GH to give it to her.

Garima smiled at Arnav who opened the door, hearing the calling bell sound.

*Hi, aunty... where is Khushi? * he asked.

*She is in her room, beta. You can go...*

*No aunty. I'm not here as her would-be husband but her BOSS* Arnav smiled contently.

*Boss? * Garima frowned.
