Part 13 Capability of ASR

Arnav was driving the car from GH. He called Arvind. Arvind attended it.

"Where are you, Dad? "

"In the office..."

"Could you come home? "

"Now? "

"Yeah... for a while"

"is anything important? "

"Khushi said yes to the marriage"

"Is it? "

"Yes..."

"How did you make it, Chotte? "

"Come home. I want to talk to you regarding..."

"Will be there" he disconnected the call.

Neerav saw him rushing out.

"Dad, where are you running? " he asked.

"RM"

"Why Dad?"

"Chotte called me"

"Why? Anything serious?"

"Will tell you later"

Arvind left AR.

Arvind reached home before Arnav came. He rushed in, searching for Ratna. He saw HP coming out of the kitchen.

"Where is Ratna? "

"Ammaji is in her room"

"Ok"

He galloped the stairs and came to his room. Ratna saw him rushing. She was confused, seeing him at home. Has not he been in the office this time?

"Don't you go to the office? " she asked.

"I came from the office"

"But why? "

"Chotte asked me to"

"Chotte? "

"Haan..."

"But why? "

"I don't know whether I can say it or not"

"What are you talking about? " Ratna frowned.

"Wait for a while. Chotte is on the way... he will tell you the matter"

"About what? "

Before Arvind said,

"Tell her, Dad," said Arnav while entering the room.

"Shall I? "

Arnav raised his brows.

"Khushi agreed to marry Arnav," Arvind said happily.

Ratna looked at Arnav whose face looked plain.

"Is it true Chotte? " she asked curiously.

Arnav nodded yes.

"Chotte, tell me now, how did you make it possible"

"Nothing Dad... she was hesitant to face Neerav... I expected that"

"Oh...yeah..."

"Did she tell you that? " Ratna asked.

"No... she didn't. I found it"

"What did you say? " Ratna asked.

"I said you guys will take care of it," Arnav said reading their faces.

"But, why does she worry about him...? Neerav is not at all feeling bad for denying her then? " Ratna said.

"This is why she didn't want to marry you...? " Arvind asked.

"Yes, Dad... she feels embarrassed"

Ratna sighed.

"What did she say then? "

"Garima aunty and Buaji made her say yes," Arnav said.

Ratna looked at him suspiciously.

"Didn't you do anything about it? "

"I too did..."

"When will we fix the marriage Ratna? "

"Dad, ask our Pandiji about Shashi uncles demise"

"Oh yeah..." Arvind said thoughtfully.

"We have to wait a month at least," Ratna said.

"What if Khushi changes her mind? " Arvind asked in between.

"She won't," Ratna said.

"How do you say that so confidently? "

"She said yes... so Garima and Madhumathiji will not let her change the mind"

"She can't change her mind" Arnav murmured.

"Did you say something? " Ratna asked.

Arnav was silent.

"I will disuse with our Panditji regarding," She said.

" Let's go then... " Arvind said.

Ratna nodded ok.

"I will go to AR after meeting our Panditji," Arvind said.

Arnav nodded ok and went to his room. He called his London branch manager.

"Hello, ASR, Good morning"

"Good morning, Steve"

"I got your mail. I have sent you the details you asked for" Steve said.

"That's great"

"Anything else? "

"Will ask if I need anything"

"Sure. have a nice day"

"See you"

Arnav disconnected the call. He called Khushi's number. Khushi attended it after the third ring.

"Who is this? " She asked.

"Arnav"

There was silence on the other side for a while.

"Are you there Khushi? "

"Jee, tell me"

"This is my number save it. I need your Email ID"

"Email ID? For?"

"Didn't you ask me for a job?"

"So?"

"To give a job..."

"What job? "

"Will tell you about it later. tell me your Email ID first"

Khushi told her Email ID.

"Ok"

"Now tell me about the job"

"You are going to work for my London branch. I will send you London branch manager Steve's phone number and his Email ID. you can send your work to either him or to me. Ask me if you have any doubt about the work"

"What work do I do? "

"You will be a part of my management team. You are free to put your ideas in front of the team... for any department of AR London branch. Your salary will be thousand Pounds. You will get increment according to your work progress. I will send a few files to your home and also a laptop. But, don't use the computer a lot. Send me the written copies if possible. I will ask the team to convert it into database files"

Khushi was speechless. He just left GH an hour ago. In the meantime, did he plan everything? She wondered.

"Do you want to ask me anything? "

What's there to ask him more than these? She thought.

"I would like to know about your company"

"I will send you some CDs with the laptop. You will get to know about the company through them"

"I have a Laptop. You no need to send one"

"It's our company procedure... use the laptop for company work. Don't mix your personal work with professional"

"What kind of job is this? "

"WORK FROM HOME... just like I do"

"You are also doing the same? "

"Then? How could I run the company sitting in India? We have a fashion show in two weeks... we have to do all the needed arrangements for the show from India"

"Won't you go to London for the Show? "

"I have not decided about it yet...Why? Are you coming with me?

"No... I didn't mean it"

"You can mean it... you are a part of our company now"

"But, I have not even joined yet"

"Who said? You would have received a joining order from my manager as of now. Check it"

"Whaaat? Excuse me..."

She disconnected the call and checked the mail. Yes, there was a mail from AR Designs. She widened her eyes and opened the mail with amazement. My God, this man is faster and faster than she thought.

She got a call from Arnav again. she attended it.

"Did you receive the joining order? "

"Yes..."

"Good...Send the reply to the same ID... it's just for a formality"

"Mmmm"

"All the best"

"Thank you... so much"

"My pleasure" Arnav disconnected the call smilingly.

Khushi sat on the bed slowly. She was an AR staff of the London branch. That made her nervous. She knew nothing about the company and her pay is more than a lakh in Indian money. She knew it was not for her ability but for the relationship she is going to get with Arnav... the Boss of the company. She has to make herself worthy of the post given by Arnav.

Taking her TAB, she surfed about the London AR branch. She was awestruck, seeing its previous show which was held in Manchester city. She scrolled the photos of the show one by one watching them keenly. Her hand stopped when a particular photo hit the screen. Arnav was in the photo giving an introduction speech about the show. What would have he spoken? Maybe, his speech will be on the CD he is going to send. She thought. She waited for him to send it. She is in full swing to know about AR and also about ASR to the fullest.

Wedding date

Arvind and Ratna met the Pandit. What the Pandit told them satisfied them.

"Let's go to GH. We should tell the matter to Garima" Ratna said.

"Ok"

Arvind drove the car towards GH.

"I hope Shashi's soul would be happy now," said Arvind.
