Living his dream life like he had fantasized about since childhood, Dom couldn't be happier. Independently living with Katie for 3 months now, his beautiful girlfriend that he had met at college before majoring in fine art, he was satisfied. Since Katie was still studying a broad liberal arts degree she was unsure of her future so relied on him for advice.

Returning home from college slightly later than normal since he needed to finish an art project off after nearly deforming his portrait model, he walked in through the apartment door and kissed Katie on the head softly.

"Any progress?", she asked, leaning her head up so her bare neck was exposed. 

*Kisses her neck then steps back* "Yeah, my teachers not as stressed with me now. What's for dinner?", he replied curiously.

"Noodles and the leftover beef?", suggested Katie.

After dinner and watching Netflix for a while, the couple headed to bed. Making sure to leave his art supplies safely in his special drawer in the living room, Dom closed the door then snuggled up to Katie. The following morning, he woke up to Katie screeching.

Worried, he scurried downstairs into the living room where Katie was frozen still in the living room staring at the cream antique wallpaper. There was crimson writing saying " Hello, I see you" scribed onto the walls with his quick dry paint, making him nauseous just looking at it.

" What the heck Dom, this isn't funny!", exclaimed Katie. She was clearly irritated, avoiding eye contact with him.

" I was in bed with you all night babe!" stated Dom in a defeated tone, " Maybe someone broke in".

"Oh yeah cos burglars always break in to draw creepy graffiti then leave, grow up", she snapped back.

*exhaling deeply* " OK, I don't know how that got there but I'll try my best to get it off later I promise", he pleaded.

Katie stared at him in disbelief, there was no logical way it got there without him. They'd invested so much time into the apartment for this...

Confused and dazed, Dom hopelessly wandered to class. Was his new home haunted or something? Was he going crazy?
Struggling to concentrate in his class, he managed to finish his project before briskly leaving to check out the apartment whilst Katie was away.  He had promised her a good time, a safe haven not threats and a huge mess.
