I wake up to a wonderful view of the city. The sun still hasn't risen but I look forward to it. I quickly take a shower and get dressed. I look at the clock and realize I'm running late, I quickly garb my books and leave. I run out the door into the streets, there's traffic, I'll have to run. Finally I cross the field and get to my class. The professor isn't there yet so I quickly get ready. A soon as I look up the professor is ready.
"Hello students, I am Professor John P. Adams, but you can call me Professor Adams"
Professor is tall and good looking. He's probably in his late thirties.
1 hour and 30 minutes Later
Class is finally over. Soon all of my classes go by and now it's the end of the day. 5:30 to be exact.
As I walk around I spot a familiar face.
It was Niki. I run over but as I get closer a blonde, pretty, blue eyed girl gets there first and throws herself into Niki's arms. I stop and watch as he plants a kiss on her lips. I don't want intrude and I'll probably see Niki another time and I'll talk to him when he's not busy.
As I walk back, I hope to not get noticed but unfortunately Niki knew me for too long to recognize the back of my head.
"Jen is that you?!"
I stop and turn around uncomfortably.
" oh hey Nick, didn't see you there"
"Come on have you forgotten how I look that quickly" he said with a huge smile on his face.
" of course not I just didn't want to interrupt anything that's going on" I said as I walked back towards Nick and the blonde girl.
"Oh heh yeah, well this is Amber she's a friend I've been hanging out with for a long time"
"Just a friend" I said with a silly smirk on my face
"Hi I'm Amber, his hopefully soon to be girlfriend"
"Oh, I'm Jennifer, Niki and I know each other since the 6th grade and have been close friends since"
"Niki, huh"
"Uh yeah that's what I call him by"
"Hmm" Amber looked at me with a serious but deadly stare
" Well I'll be going now I have to get home"
"Um wait wanna hangout sometime?"
"Nick I'm sure Jennifer has other things to do"
"Um, actually no Amber I'm free tomorrow for lunch if you want NIKI " I looked at Amber as I said this with hatred in my eyes.
" um ok, sure see u later Jen"
"See ya NIKI--- Amber"
I look at the time and it's 7:00 already. Jeezz where did the time go. As I arrive at the apartment I see Chris waiting at the entrance. He seems pissed.
"Chris, are you okay"
"Um, ye-yeah, I can I stay at ur place this week"
"Um sure"
In the elevator we were quiet, not one word was said, until we arrived at my apartment. I led him to the extra room and wished him a goodnight.
"Wait, Jen"
"Yeah"
"Thanks for letting me stay"
No problem, but tomorrow your gonna explain everything, okay?"
" fine, I will once I ask u something first"
" ok goodnight"
I left and walked over to my room where my laptop is waiting for me. I open it to see 35 new emails. I check through all of them, nothing new just Coupons. I closed the laptop and hear someone in the kitchen. I walk over and see Chris taking a glass of milk. He looks at me thinking of what to say.
"Jen?"
"Yeah"
