Just some Notes before we start....

1 - I haven't watched the latest season of Aot but I do read the manga, neither will be used within this story.

2 - I don't know how often or when I'll update this story. I might update once in months or update a lot of chapters at once then disappear again.

3 - I am sorry for any mistakes or curses used but I'm sure you've all gotten use to that by now.

  4 - This story with be magical and modern themed but don't expect tons of knowledge, I'm just doing the basics.

5 - I won't be adding my random music in the chapters anymore. I'm sorry for those who need music when reading like me and for those who don't, I'm sure you'll be relieved over no longer having the random music videos in the way.

6 - This book will have some Armin x Historia within it, I thought it was time to give Armin some loving within my books for once.

7 - Other ships to be used will be, Jean x Marco, Farlan x Isabel and Moblit x Hanji.

8 - I'm not really gonna ship Eren with anyone, he's just have a made up girlfriend or boyfriend later.

Rose city, well more of a town then a city due to being so small. It was a safe place for those linked to the magical side of life. Sure, Humans lived within the city, living unknown to magical beings living beside them.

The city-town wasn't huge but it wasn't small either, it was a decent size while only having one or two of everything. A single middle school, two small high schools and a single collage. Two shopping market's and a single corner shop in the middle of the two that was placed on either end of the city-town. A couple of small public toilets in the two parks. A single bakery, butcher and café. A single clothes shop and shoes shop that delt in all sizes and secretly sold sizes that would fix any magical creature as well. A small bingo centre and a small day care. A fancy restaurant and two pubs. One for mainly humans but the pub known as "Survey Corps" well that was were all the magical beings went for a drink and could show their true forms and be themselves without having to hide it from the human race.

Our story begins with a small family, a small self formed back that only held three members. Now, within the pack only one counted a werewolf, well a semi werewolf.

She was known as a Coyote, she was a wolf that could transform no matter the day or time, she held her wolf strength and still held full control in her wolf form. She was a small size compared to werewolves but she still held the same strength as a werewolf, of course she was stuck on all fours in her wolf form while werewolves could change into two forms. There two leg form or their full on wolf form.

But, the Coyote clans were almost completely wiped out fifty years ago by hunters and even other werewolves. Coyote wasn't as loved as werewolves and they held a different type of blood to werewolves, they were a rare breed and wanted by all due to them holding the same brain waves, the same heart and the same conscience as they did when human.

But due to the Coyote rare skill and being hated by werewolves while loved as a prize for hunters and the rich. Their numbers dropped rather quick and the last lot had no choice but to go into hiding. 

Some, who gave birth to children decided to never tell their child over being a Coyote, lying to them over being a deformed werewolf form that was trapped in a wolf form only. It was an unfair lie but it kept the children alive and hidden from both werewolves and hunters who long thought all the Coyote clans were dead. 

The Coyote who formed her pack with a vampire and a human that held elfish blood was known as Mikasa Ackerman. Her parents long dead by hunters who learnt over her parents being Coyote, she herself taken to be sold as a pet to the highest bidder before she escaped and was soon taken in by a vampire family known as Jaeger, the husband known as Grisha Jaeger, a doctor for other magical beings. His wife Carla Jaeger, a simple housewife who looked after their son, Eren Jaeger who got into fights easily and was struggling to learn to keep his vampire strength under control. The treated her like a daughter/sister and became her new family, her new pack. 

She met Armin Arlert, a human that held elf blood. His grandpa a human and his mother a human but his father was a elf along with his grandma. He was born as a human but his blood gave the scent of an elf making him on the border line of being a magical being. He became her first friend and soon apart of her pack.

Armin lived with his human grandpa, his parents died when he was a baby from an accident, it was winter and the roads were filled with ice. They tried breaking but lost their lives anyway. 

Carla grew sickly when Eren and Mikasa was twelve, just three years after they took the girl in and died during the early summer. Grisha becoming a drunk after not being able to save his wife and wondered away one night, never returning. Armin Grandpa took the two children in, happy to look after all three children but one night even he was killed when they were thirteen, an angry elf not accepting Armin as one of them and killed the Grandpa by mistake as he tried protecting the children. 

The three became alone together, living as orphans and wouldn't be adopted separately but no one wanted a vampire, a 'werewolf and a half elf at the same time. That was three different species and just too much work for new parents to handle at once. So, they were sent to a foster home, a middle aged man named Keith Sadies but they had to call him as Sir, Mr Sadies or just Sadies since he never used his first name, the three children never learnt why but he just didn't. He took them in, even letting them stay in his room until they were nineteen and fully ready to face the world. Money that was sent each month for them was placed in a separate bank as their savings as he could afford looking after the now family of four on his own pay check and decided to just use the government moment given for their savings. 

The three passed high school, finished at sixteen like anyone else before moving on to collage. Well, Eren dropped out, Armin passed and Mikasa just did more Maths and English since she wasn't sure what she wanted to do in her life. She wanted a simple job but she wasn't sure what, she thought about a cop but feared she might have to one day arrest Eren over his stupid ideas that he thinks was a good idea at the time. She did come up with a flower shop owner but she's get's hay fever like Armin and both decided it was a awful idea.

Now, as they all stood at the age of twenty one, now starting their new lives as they wanted a new chance at life. Start new and fresh, be themselves without any fear of their pass catching up. Their families still loved but left in the past, their own actions left in the past and they could just live a new life without being held down by chains. 

So, they moved to Rose city, it was much smaller then they had thought but the known fact of it being a place of truce for magical beings made them stay. No more fear of being hunted down or hated on, they could belong here without always looking over their shoulders for danger. 

It was going to become their home. 

They found some old flats, the building only holding two floors, eight flats all together. Four on the second floor and four on the first floor with old stone stairs in the centre of both floors to lead up and down. The bottom floor held single rooms flats while the second floor held two bedroom flats it seemed. Mikasa and Armin decided to rent one flat together, Eren taking the free single flat below since he never wanted to share again after being trapped sharing a room with Armin while living with Sadies. Of course, Armin wasn't brave enough to live alone just yet and that's why Mikasa offered for them to become flatmates together and all three were thankful they'll be in the same building.

The flats were nice, Mikasa and Armin flat was a decent size. Two medium bedrooms, a tiny kitchen that could hold two people in at once. A small bathroom with a shower linked in the bath making them have the option to either bath or shower, the sink was small but the toilet seemed fine. A decent size living room that was big enough to be a normal living room with the wall that lead to the hallway that held the others room, using the wall space to place a desk to let it become Armin work space for his drawings, he draw BL Manga, even if he got embarrassed and flustered by his own work. He also write short stories as well and designed covers, an online website for people to send in paying requests and had his own website to upload his manga while he had a manger for his books.

Eren flat was small but big enough for him. A single but big bedroom, a tiny kitchen that held one person mostly and a nice small living room that he could use without any issue and still have room for Mikasa and Armin to sit with him. A small bathroom with just a bath, a decent toilet and a medium sink. He found a plug in shower that joint to the bathtub tap if he did want to shower.  

They set up their own bank accounts, using their own names before splitting the last of the savings money for them into their own accounts. Well, Armin had his own bank account due to his work and business but Eren and Mikasa knew they needed their own now as well. 

Eren joining the local blood shop for vampires, putting his name down for weekly blood bag deliveries to his flat and gaining his own blood card to show he was a costume. Gaining his new Vampire ID as he was official noticed as a member of the vampire clan within Rosy city showing he was accepted to the city. 

Mikasa having to go to the magical beings area within the city hall, placing her name down as a werewolf. Hiding the fact over being a Coyote, she wasn't going to risk it even if the city was under a truce, she knew the same protection wasn't given to a Coyote. She got her new ID as well and was given a special spray to use on a fullmoon when she should turn into a wild werewolf without any control, the spray would keep others away as she runs into the city woods at the edge but she won't ever need it. She'll just donate it to the werewolf trust for those who couldn't pay for a new spray whenever they ran out, seems the first spray bottle is free and after .. it's not, around £2 for each bottle that only the same size as her middle finger. 

Mikasa and Eren had to drag Armin to get his elf ID as he feared over being rejected but since he held elfish blood, he had to sigh in as a magical being like them. It was simple and easy, they asked him questions when he clearly didn't hold any elfish appearance and showed he won't need any spells or sprays that hides his form from humans. Once they took some of his blood, proving he end elfish dna, they gave him a low rank ID elfish card for him to keep and a free single bottle of mask spray in case he grew any elfish ears or anything at some point. 

The three would finally be taking a new step in their life, they just didn't know of the trouble heading their way as soon as they took a step in the town.
