Hey guys!! So I'm a BIG Kingdom Hearts fan, so I decided to write a fanfic for this awesome franchise!

You were in line at Gamestop to buy the new Kingdom Hearts 3 game! You even preordered it before you got in line. When the doors opened you rushed to the counter.

"Hi! How can I help you?" The woman behind the counter asked. She had long dark brown hair with eyes that go from red to light green to blue. (Me:If you recognize her from a certain retelling of a story you deserve a hug/cookie!)

"I'm here to buy Kingdom Hearts 3, I preordered it." You said taking out your money.

"Of course." You hand her the money and she puts the game into a plastic bag (or just hands it to you if you live in CA) "Come again!"

"Thanks!" You walk out the store and run home, very excited to play the game.

Once you get home you turn your TV and Playstation 4 on, then popped the game right into it. But before you click the game you notice the game case.

You look at it and realized that it was a special edition, it had all the games into one disc.

'What no way! It can't all be in one disc, and I know I didn't preorder the special edition. I didn't even know there was a special edition!!' You thought.

You shrugged it off anyways and clicked the game, you waited for the menu to appear but all there was darkness. You tried to make it do something by pressing all the buttons but nothing. Then white text appeared on the screen.

Your heart...it's filled with darkness

"What?" You said reading the text.

Yet, it's so bright of light

You continued to look at the screen, not noticing a dark gas coming from the Tv.

Your heart is powerful, I must have it!

You then see creatures that look like heartless coming out of the Tv. You screamed and backed up from them when you heard laughter coming from the Tv. Then everything went black.

Good luck in our world, Kingdom Princess...

Your POV

I woke up feeling sand and hearing the sounds of the ocean. I sat up and saw that I was on a beach, but I suddenly remembered my dream.

I was in a room with a circular floor, it looked like stained glass. The image looked like me but it was split into two different sides.

One was (f/l/c) (favorite light color) with other bright colors and had a sakura flower design. The other side was (f/d/c) (favorite dark color) with other dark colors and a black rose design.

It was weird since it also had images of other people I haven't seen before, but they did look familiar.

One had spiky brown hair and sapphire eyes, he had a bright smile. The other one was a girl, she had maroon hair and blue-violet eyes, she seemed nice. Another one had silver hair and turquoise eyes, he looked the oldest and maybe the most mature.

But there were was three that I couldn't recognize them that well. One had blonde hair defying gravity and blue eyes, he reminded me of the spiky brunette. There was another girl, she had black hair and blue yes as well. She also reminded me of the spiky brunette, but a tiny bit of the red head girl. The last one had red hair everywhere and green eyes, how the hell does he keep his hair like that?

"What is this place?" I asked looking at the floor.

This is your heart, it's like nothing ever seen.

"Why?" I asked the sudden voice.

It's in complete balance of both light and dark, most have not been able to do that.

"Why's that? It would seem that some would be able to have both light and dark in harmony." I said thinking.

It would seem, but most have ridden the darkness is their hearts and embrace nothing but the light. But others think they can channel the darkness and rely on it too much.

"But you can't have light without darkness, and darkness without light. It would make everything unbalanced!" I shouted at the voice.

Yes, which is why you are different. Your heart has both channeled the darkness but has also embraced the light. Your heart is very powerful because of that, and most will want to use you for that.

"But why-" I tried saying before the voice told me to find it out for myself and I woke up on this beach.

I looked around and saw some wooden structures, trees, and a pirate ship? I stood up and saw my outfit.

It was a (f/c) tube top but it didn't show any of my chest, thank god. I also had shorts with black tights and light shoes, I also had long black fingerless gloves that go to my elbows.

"Well this seems a nice outfit for traveling, except for in the cold." I said examining it. I walked looked out into the ocean and could almost see another island.

"Hey! You over there!" I hear a male voice yell, I looked and see a spiky brunette. Wait that's one of the boys in the floor from my dream!

He runs over to me and smile. "Hey, what are you doing here?" He asked looking at me.

"Umm......I actually have no idea, I just woke up here." I said, then I realized I couldn't remember anything before my dream.

"What?" He asked but then started mumbling to himself, I was able to hear something like, "Maybe it's like what happened to Kairi."

Then a girl started to walk to us, she looked like the maroon haired girl from my dream. "Hey Sora, who's this?"

"Oh this is.....actually I don't know her name, we just met. She said she just woke up here." He said, the girl's eyes widen and she looked at me.

"Do you remember anything before waking up?" She asked me with some sympathy in her eyes.

"No, I don't." I said sadly, not mentioning the dream.

"It's okay, I'm going through the same thing! We can try to remember together!" She said grabbing my hands with a smile on her face.

"Alright, but I remember my name. It's (y/n)!" I said smiling back.

"Hey, aren't you forgetting me?" Another person said, it sounded male and I turned to see the silver head from the dream. "Hmm? Who's this?" He asked pointing at me.

"This is (y/n)! She just appeared out of nowhere, like Kairi!" The brunette exclaimed.

"Well nice to meet'cha! I'm Riku." The silver haired boy said.

"Oh yeah, forgot to introduce myself! My names Kairi, as these two kept calling me!" The red head said.

"And I'm Sora! Nice to meet'cha!" The brunette exclaimed. I smiled at them, unsure what to do when Kairi grabbed my hands again and was dragging me some where.

"Come on! You can help us build the raft!" She yelled, laughing. Riku and Sora chased after us while shouting at us to wait up, well more Sora than Riku.

We need up in a place that seemed to be behind the island, it looked like a place to have races. I saw something that looked close to a raft but it had a lot to work with for it to be fully functional.

"Okay so Sora, you need to get these things today!" Kairi said handing him a piece of paper, he frowned and was about to complain when she put her hand up. "I don't want to hear it, you can ask (y/n) to help you!"

He turned to and smiled. "Come on then!" He dragged me away from the place and let me look at the list.

"How about you get the fish and drinking water while I get the other stuff?" He asked, I nodded and grabbed the bottles from him.

After getting the fish, I thought about where to get drinkable water. 'Maybe there's a spring or something? Oh wait, duh! The waterfall I saw' I thought as I walked.

I headed to the waterfall and got some water when I saw Sora heading into a small cave. What's he doing? Maybe there's something we need there?

I decided to follow him and headed into the cave, it was really big. I looked at all the other drawings, there was so many! I see Sora standing there not doing anything, he was looking at something I couldn't see. Then he turned and saw me.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, he seemed a bit surprised by something.

"Oh I just saw you crawl through here and....." I trailed off, he looked at me but smiled at me.

"Oh okay! I was just looking through Riku's, Kairi's, and my old cave drawings!" He said smiling. "Come on let's return with this stuff!" He grabbed my hands and dragged me.

As we went back to the others, I thought about something important. Where am I gonna sleep? We got to the raft and Sora and Riku start to talk about naming it.

"Guess we'll have to race to see who's gonna name it." Riku said.

"You're on!" Sora said as they started to race. I walk to Kairi to ask about that problem.

"Hey Kairi? Do you guys live on a different island?" I asked.

"Yeah, we do though Sora's parents help me have a room. You can sleep with me if you're asking about sleeping arrangements." She said, I nodded and saw that Riku won.

After that we watched the sunset, Kairi said something about taking the raft without Riku. But I didn't listen as I was in my own little world.

'Who am I? Why am I powerful? What kind of people would want to use me? Why am I the only one who has total balance of light and darkness?' I was interupted by Kairi grabbing me dragging me to her boat. Wait she has a boat? Why don't they use that instead of building a raft!?

As we got to her room, she set up a two blankets as a temporary bed for me. But throughout the night I couldn't sleep, I had a bad feeling. Then I heard a storm, I look outside that Kairi had and see that it was raining.

Apparently Kairi heard to and insisted that we made sure that the raft was okay, we went and that bad feeling got worse. Kairi went towards that cave while I chased after her.

We enter and I see a door in the cave. I hear someone enter and see Sora, he had some sort of giant key.

"Sora." Kairi called before the door opened with darkness coming out, pushing her into Sora before disappearing.

Then it pushed both of us out of the cave, it looked like the whole island was torn apart. There was a giant ball of darkness of the piece of land we had, then a giant monster appeared.

"What the heck is that!?" I asked in fear as I went behind Sora. He didn't answer and went ahead to fight. Why would he do that!? He's gonna die! But I was wrong and he defeated the monster.

The monster got as or bed by the giant ball of darkness. As that happened Sora grabbed me as I didn't notice that I was being pulled towards that ball as well. He held on to a plank of wood from something stuck to the ground, eventually it gave in and broke off.

We got sucked into the ball as I felt Sora hold me, probably to make sure that we won't get separate. But I had no idea that all this will lead to an amazing adventure. And a romance that will be hard to keep.

Done! Phew! So I just remembered some stiff at the top of my head so if I got anything wrong please tell me, I did make some stuff up to make sense. But I hope you enjoyed this.
