Chapter 39.
Last night was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had in my entire life. Harry was so gentle and loving and caring with me, as if I could break or crack any second and he would lose me all over again. He was careful and perfect and I think we're closer now than we have ever been before, we truly are inseparable.
"So what are you doing today?" I ask him as he lies next to me in our bed, my finger tracing the tattoos on his chest lightly whilst his eyes gaze down at me, mine focused intently on my own actions.
"Working unfortunately." He mumbles beside me, "we have some recording to do but I'll be back home around one."
I groan in response, "Harry that's six hours away! What am I going to do?"
"Well once you take Mill's to school you only have five hours left, then you could have some breakfast and watch a movie, and I'll be back before you know it." He smiles, pecking my nose cutely. I love it when he does things like that, sweet little gestures that make me smile for no reason.
"Ugh, fine." I roll my eyes. I really don't want to be away from him, we spend our last few minutes with our bare bodies pressed together cuddling, warmth radiating around us as we huddle together and just snuggling. I wish we could do that all over again, starting from last night.
"I'll see you in six hours babe." He smiles, quickly getting dressed, giving a kiss to Millie, I assume, and then leaving the house.
I reluctantly get up and head for the bathroom, turning the shower on and jumping in straight away, considering I don't have any clothes on; I wash my hair with Harry's shampoo and wash my body with the soap on the side. Then, I carefully get out and change into some matching black underwear, putting on my black leggings and a blue checkered shirt soon after, buttoning it up and leaving the top ones undone.
"Mill's, are you up and dressed?" I shout to her, hoping that she has dressed herself. She's starting to get the hang of it, although she does put some things on in the wrong order, but nothing too drastic.
She walks out of her room clad cutely in her school uniform, without her elastic tie. Her uniform consists of a white school shirt, a grey piny-fore, an elastic tie, long white socks and some black plimsole shoes. She looks so adorable. "Where's your tie sweetie?" I ask.
She lifts her hand holding the tie up, allowing me to take it from her grasp and place it on her with no problem. "How would you like your hair today?" I question, she's quite a girly-girl so she likes her hair to look nice.
"In pigtails please." She grins up at me warmly, her blue eyes shining with a hint of tiredness, it's clear that she's only just woken up. I do as she says and part her hair down the middle, using two bobbles to tie each side up nearly, her straight brown hair flowing from them and shimmering in the light.
"Perfect." I giggle, placing a kiss on her cheek as I direct her downstairs. "Here's your cereal Mills." I smile thankfully at how Harry has already prepared her breakfast for her, to save me doing it. He must have done it before he left for work.
"I love this cereal! It's my favourite one, it has the chocolate swirls! Thanks Faith!" She gasps happily at the choice.
"Well thank Harry because he put it out for you." I smile back at her enthusiasm, in awe at the fact that Harry knows her favourite cereal.
I place some bread in the toaster for myself and set the temperature dial on low, I only like ghost toast. Grabbing the butter from the fridge, I then wait for it to pop up, smearing a reasonable amount of butter on when it does.
My eyes scan over to Millie as I eat my toast, every spoonful disappearing as soon as it exits her mouth, her full cheeks chewing before she swallows successfully; My smile widens further as she notices my staring, a big cheesy grin making it's way onto her face as she finishes her food. "Come on them, let's get you to school!"
My small hand tightly grasps Millie's little book bag and follow her to the car, shielding her perfect blue eyes from the large number of photographers stood outside of Harry's house.
"Faith are you pregnant?"
"Are you and Harry getting married anytime soon?"
"Who is the little girl?"
"How do you know Harry?"
"What are your opinions on Harry's ex-girlfriend Laura?"
I ignore their screams and constant questioning, confused to how they know my name, but Harry's fans are incredible - no doubt they found out somehow.
And I don't like it when they pester me about Millie, I hope I could keep her away from all of this madness so she can have a normal life; but if we want to be with Harry we have to accept all of him, even his career. I know he feels bad about the media attention we receive but in all honesty, I just drown it out, the only time it gains my attention is when they say something about Mill's, it's gets personal then.
They can say what they want about me, but not my little girl.
I push through the crowd and strap Mill's securely into her car seat, then getting in myself, making sure I don't run any of them over as I drive the familiar route to Millie's school. "You excited for school today Millie Moo?" I question her with a smile, I know that she loves school.
"Yeah, I hope we get to draw, and play!" She smiles, slightly bouncing in her seat.
"You will! Maybe you should ask Zayn if you could draw with him sometime. He likes drawing too!" I offer. She's quite a sociable little girl and she loves all of the lads and girls, but I don't think she would ask him herself, if I get her permission I'd be happy to arrange it for the both of them. The lads love her to pieces, they would do anything for her.
"Okay! Does he have crayons?" She asks me.
"I don't know, maybe. I'll get some for you anyway though, just incase." I smile through the rear view mirror at her, parking just outside the front gates, glancing up as one of her teachers walks closer to the car.
"Thank you," Millie pecks me on the cheek gratefully as I start to get her out of the car, her teacher standing next to me; although as she walks off towards the school, Millie shouts something that leaves me stunned, "bye mummy!"
After dropping Mill's off I took a ride around London, just driving. I didn't really want to go back home straight away knowing that there are paps outside of the house. About half an hour later I decided to just go home and do as Harry said, get some food and watch a film. Only four and a half hours to go!
~~~
I hear the paps get louder outside, meaning only one thing. Harry's home. His key fiddles in the lock, me waiting impatiently on the couch for his arrival, for his warm embrace and delicate kisses that I've missed for the last six hours.
He successfully opens the door and closes it behind him, a slight slam resonating off the walls as his footsteps get closer and closer to me. My smile erupts at the thought of him finally being here after all of that waiting. God, I've missed him so much.
"Honey I'm home!" He chuckles to himself, making me jump up and run to him; my arms flying around his neck and my chest smashing into his as I hug him tightly. "So did you miss me?" He teases sarcastically, already knowing my answer.
"Of course I did. I've been waiting for ages!" I exaggerate, elongating the last word and rolling my eyes to make him chuckle.
"Well I'm home now. We can watch a film, I've brought popcorn just for the occasion." He smiles, holding up the plastic bag in his right hand.
"Sweet, salt, butter or toffee?" I quiz him, hoping he'd answer my question correctly. And he does.
"All of them, I got you some crisps as well." He smiles clearly happy with his answer, he knows me too well. Which reminds me...
"Millie was impressed that you knew her favourite cereal, and I was grateful too that you'd set her breakfast out this morning." I smile, my arms still around his neck as I stand on my tip toes.
"Really? How grateful?" He smirks cheekily, those dimples becoming prominent as he waits patiently for my response.
I remain on my toes and bring my face closer to his, my warm breath taunting him and my eyes focused on his beautifully plump lips, soft words escaping in nothing but a whisper and for only him to hear, "very, grateful." I smile bringing our lips together. My soft lips connecting with his effortlessly, his touch burning against my skin as we continue our affair; nothing but passion coursing through our bodies until we unwillingly break apart and pant.
"I'll get the film ready, you prepare the snacks." He starts, me nodding my head in agreement and taking the plastic bag from his hand, then walking into the kitchen; I place the popcorn in the microwave and pour the crips into a bowl, placing it on a tray for me to take in - once the first bag of popcorn is done I put the next one in, pouring the first into a plastic container and doing the same to the second when it has finished.
I carry the the tray in and place it on Harry's coffee table in front of us, then sit back and cuddle next to him on the couch. "Baby you're really cold." Harry states, his hands against my skin feeling warm to the touch, "I'll go and get you a blanket." He adds, placing a kiss to my temple.
"Thank you!" I raise my voice so he is able to hear me. My eyes avert to the screen and I focus on the film in front of me, that is until a ding breaks me from my concentration. "Harry your phone!" I shout up to him. My hand grabs the phone, ready for when he comes back down.
Moments later he enters and I hand it to him, giggling as he wraps the blanket snugly around my body, enveloping me in his arms as we both fall back onto the couch.
My head resting on his chest with his arms wrapped tightly around me, "it's probably one of the lads." He unlocks his phone and goes to messages, the both of us reading the one he received only moments ago. Our eyes widening at the words and horror filling up our bodies as we just stare at the two haunting words in front of us...
