I watched lucy get dragged across the field something wasn't right I grip my hands into fists I feel something like lucy would never give up this easily I start running amongst the crowd on the bleachers and I shout "my ears don't lie to me I heard her loud and clear" and then I hear lucy scream "no please anywhere but there" I was getting more and more pissed off this dark guild thinks they can hurt us by playing dirty then so be it they got one thing coming and I get to my guilds section and I burn the red hair next to Asuka and I burn it and I see bisca grab her daughter seeing what I burned and I scream "she was trying to protect asuka".

I lean across the cement and overhead I hear gramps ask "does anyone smell burnt hair?" and I didn't answer him and I scream "YOUR IN THE CLEAR LUCY" I smile to myself and I hear lucy scream "thanks natsu GEMINI" I see her and the celestial spirit summoning the spell she learned and bisca thanks me for saving her daughter I smile and I reply "I knew something was wrong our lucy is a fighter she wouldn't do that she was protecting asuka" and when the spell didn't work lucy fell to the ground exhausted and I felt her pain and everyone was booing her after the other oppenent left the field I didn't care to remember her name I looked at gramps and I say "I'm going to get her and bringing her back".

Gramps nodds I walk down the long hallway onto the field and I see lucy still on the ground everyone in the stands booing I blocked them out as I walked over to her I say "hey now no crying" I hear her voice breaking it broke my heart to see my partner in pain "I can't help it its just not fair" I feel a smile crept on my face "no its not that's why we'll pay them back 100x over you were amazing you proved that seven year gap means nothing we still got a fighting chance" I reach forward as she raises up still in a sitting position I hold my hand out to her and she takes it "zero points sounds great to me to make a great comback" she grabs my hand and she replies tears still streaming down her cheeks "yeah I'm all fired up now".

I grin and I pick her up bridal she buries her head in the crook of my neck I blush and smile as I hear whistles from our stand and I carry her off the field I look up and elfman is whistling at us and I carry her to her room and I say "listen to me you did great out there I was amazed by you and when I seen that girl beating you I knew something was wrong and I heard you loud and clear" she sniffles and she replies "thanks natsu you really are one of my closest friends" I sit her on her bed and I tell her "luce? when all of the games are over I want you to come down to the bar I got a surprise for you" she looks up at me I wipe away the tears that streaked across her cheeks and she nodds and smiles there was the smile I fell in love with yeah thats right this girl right here I am in love with and tonight I was gonna tell her tonight she gets a shower I go and find levy and she was with gajeel and I was outside lucy's room and gajeel had his arms crossed and he says "is lucy ok?".

I nodd rubbing the back of my head and I ask "I need a favor levy do you know how to play they keyboard?" she nodds with a smile and I ask gajeel "do you know how to play the drums?" he nodds and he asks "whats goin on?" I smile and fill them in and after everything was set up and when we enter the room everything was set up I sit lucy on a stool and I have a microphone in my hand and I look around the room and see the whole guild here and I stand in front of her and smile and I say "lucy after today when I seen that girl beating you up and you just lying there and taking it I knew something was wrong and I knew it because if you hurt I hurt we all bleed as one we all protect our family and I will protect you until my last dying breath because your my friend partner and I never wanna be without you and I have had these feelings for you for a while now and deep down I told myself that you would never see me that way but I don't care anymore I need to tell you I love you" she gasps and had tears streaming down her cheeks and she was about to say something but I stop her "wait don't answer yet" I turn around to gajeel and levy they start playing and I sing the first line.
