Nandini's POV:

All of us were led to the 16th floor where we were given our respective laptops and partitions. Two people had one partition for themselves but I was given a separate partition. I was wondering about this special treatment when Manik walked in there.

"I hope all of you are okay with your allotted places."

He asked giving me a look. I grit my teeth knowing that this special treatment was for me. I somewhat felt something fishy. He was doing all this on purpose but I was not able to decipher the reason behind it.

"I request all of you to come to my cabin one by one to collect a certain files that you all need to go through before starting work. I shall explain certain things that requires individual attention so come one by one."

Manik instructed everyone and left. What amazed everyone including me was that he requested. He fucking requested and that's something new. The look on his face indicated that something is cooking up in his mind for someone and I had a feeling that, that someone is me.

Manik's POV:

Nandini Murthy! The woman who made me a heartless human being. As much as I hate her I couldn't help but notice her. She has become more beautiful now. Her captivating doe shaped orbs, cute nose, pouty luscious lips, an hour glass figure.... Damn! She is fucking hot and cute.

In all this that one last glance. It held something. Some kind of pain, relief, agony, joy and so much more. I couldn't point out at one emotion as it was clusterall clustered. But one thing I know is that she has changed and is not the Nandini I loved.

I closed my eyes and leaned back to my chair. Some how my mind went back to our first meet. The meet in which I lost my heart to her.

Flashback: (Manik's POV continued)

There was a lot of hustle bustle in the corridors of St. Teresa's School of Commerce and Management. Every fresher was in the quest of the correct classroom number. It was a swarm of blondes, ravens, redheads.

I was also among them. Unfortunately I had reached late and was racing towards the notice board to checkout my classroom number. I was checking the notice board when I felt someone wriggle beside me. I moved a little and turned to see a cute little girl struggling to come front.

I don't know why but I pulled her to me so that she can come front. She looked up and I knew that was it. She was so fucking cute. Those doe shaped hazel eyes twinkled when they thanked me. She checked her class while I did the same.

"We are in the same class Miss...."

I trailed off as I didn't know her name. She looked at me and chuckled at my attempt to know her name and I rubbed my nape, blushing.

"Nandini Murthy."

She replied and I almost jumped in joy. Nandini giggled looking at me and I smiled hearing her giggles.

"I'm Manik Malhotra."

I introduced myself. We shook hands and entered the classroom.

Present ( Manik's POV continued):

That day I never knew I was entering my doom. Only if I had known. I heard a knock and the door opened. It was Nandini. This is going to be long!

"Ah! Please take your seat Miss. Murthy."

Manik asked Nandini to sit down. Nandini quietly thanked him and sat down. There was lot of mixed tension in the air. Tension of hate, lust and love filled in the plush white cabin of Manik. The atmosphere was so silent that they could hear each others breath. While their minds battled their hearts happily soaked and felt each others presence.

They had come face to face after six long years. The worst part was the nasty breakup they had. For a minute Nandini just did reminiscence all the memories. From their first meet to their first kiss to their breakup.

"Ah! Please take your seat Miss. Murthy."

Manik asked Nandini to sit down. Nandini quietly thanked him and sat down. There was a lot of mixed tension in the air. Tension of hate, lust and love filled in the plush white cabin of Manik. The atmosphere was so silent that they could hear each other's breath. While their minds battled their hearts happily soaked and felt each others presence.

They had come face to face after six long years. The worst part was the nasty breakup they had. For a minute Nandini just did reminiscence all the memories. From their first meeting to their first kiss to their breakup.

Everything was still fresh in her mind. Manik too was no less. He too remembered their moments together.

Their hearts clenched at each others sight. All they wanted was to crash in each others arms and never let go. But their ego stopped them. Their minds reminded them of the betrayal they faced. Manik decided to break the silence.

"Did you like the place Miss Murthy?"

He asked. His tone was soft and soothing that made Nandini's heart leap out for a minute.

"It's pleasant Mr. Malhotra. Thank you."

Nandini too replied formally. Manik didn't like the way she addressed him as Mr Malhotra but nevertheless kept quiet.

"Since you are from the IT I'm handing over these files to you. It has details regarding coding and other stuff. Go through it and come back to me if there are any doubts."

Manik said handing over a couple of files to Nandini. She nodded and took those files. She gave him a small smile and turned back to leave.

Manik didn't know why but he got up from his seat and went towards Nandini. She was walking towards the door but was suddenly pulled. Manik pinned her hands to the wall and started kissing her.

He had held her hands above her was and was kissing her. Nandini came back to her senses and started kissing him back. His hands now roamed over body. He rubbed her navel over her shirt and pressed her boobs while she roamed her one hand on his upper body and the other in his hair.

After fifteen minutes they broke the kiss and looked at each other. Manik realized what he had done. He could still feel the current in his body that erupted because of her touch. Nandini too looked troubled.

"How could you do this Manik?"

She whispered. Manik smirked at her and cupped her ass cheeks.

"You taste so good Cara. I will take my revenge from you bit by bit. This is just the beginning."

He whispered in a tone as cold as ice and gave her a long kiss. Nandini freed herself from him and left the cabin with the files. She was not in a much disheveled state and looked presentable.

Manik here on the other hand was angry at himself. He buried himself in work and decided to get distracted tonight. He had to forget the feelings that roamed around in his heart because of the kiss. He couldn't afford to be broken again.

Manik buried himself in work simultaneously thinking how to take revenge from Nandini while Nandini read the files simultaneously preparing herself for the anticipated trouble.

The test went on smoothly and Manik scored a decent grade while Nandini as usual topped the class. After collecting their evaluated answer scripts Nandini and Manik walked out of the class together. It was the end of the day and they didn't have any other class.

Manik dragged her to the back side of the locker room. Nandini's quietly followed him not questioning anything. He made her stand against the wall and stared at her. Nandini raised her eyebrows signalling a what while Manik cupped her cheeks.

"Thank *peck* you *peck* so *peck* Nandini."

He thanked her pecking her lips. Nandini held his collar and pulled him down for a passionate kiss. As their lips moved in sync it ignited the sparks of passion and love. A feeling that was ignored by them was rekindled and they didn't want to let it go.

Manik deepened the kiss taking lead while Nandini just surrendered herself. They kissed each other with passion, lust and an underlying feeling of love. Nandini wrapped her legs around his torso and he pinned her to the wall for support.

They continued kissing, smooching each others lips, while their tongues fought for dominance.
