|Manik’s POV|

Both Nandini and Inaaya were happy with their newfound jobs. My mind was also at peace since I felt  relieved from my guilt. I was happy and it had been years since I had been so happy. Everything felt afresh and now I felt more alive than ever. Inaaya had forgiven me and that was the biggest relief. Nandini had advised me not to be too hard on myself.

‘Despite the sins you’ve committed, you deserve a chance at redemption. That’s how the whole system works or else there wouldn’t be any good people in this world because all of us, knowingly or unknowingly commit sins that later haunt us. But there’s always a chance to undo all of it.’ Nandini had said.

She had put in those words so beautifully that I felt proud to have her in my life. I felt honoured to be loved by such a beautiful soul. My only wish in my life now was for us to grow old together. Her re-entry in my life had opened up all the doors of happiness and peace. I became more and more obsessed with her day by day, I fell in love with her more and more with each passing day. It was like I was born all over again.

Every Time I saw her, she looked at me lovingly. I always asked myself that do I even deserve her and the answer to it always was that I needed her in my life to have a second shot at my previously miserable life. In her absence, I would never have known the possibility of having a different life. She was the lightbringer in my life and now it was on me to never let any form of darkness fall over our heads.

It was a fine morning and I was in my cabin, my head buried in a file. The file had the details of sales of our branch offices. Our company’s profit had shooted up in the last one month. It was a feat we had never achieved before and we topped among several multinational companies. I was delighted. With everything going the right way in my personal life, this was like a cherry on top.

Nandini entered my cabin at that moment. She was the only one in the office who could enter my cabin without permission. She saw my delightful face and interrogated about it. I explained the matter to her and she was delighted about it too.

‘That’s such great news!’ She exclaimed.

‘Yeah. We’ve topped in our city in terms of the profit percentage.’ I said.

‘This is the gift of your hard work and your contribution towards this company throughout the years.’ Nandini complimented.

‘Nope. The credit goes to each and every person associated with this company. From workers to employees to secretaries, everyone.’ I said.

‘I’m so glad you said that. I wasn’t expecting it.’ Nandini smiled.

‘I’m not the same person everyone knew, Nandini. I’ve changed and I love this new version of me and all the credit for this goes to you.’ I said.

‘Thank you, Mr.Malhotra.’ She said with a little bow.

‘You’re welcome, Miss Murthy.’ I said and we laughed in unison.

‘I’ve been observing Inaaya for the past few days and she looks so vibrant. She’s loving her new job. And thankfully she isn’t acting like a bitch anymore. Her attitude has changed a lot.’ Nandini enunciated.

‘The reason behind her former attitude was me. If I hadn’t been an “arrogant bastard”, she would have been different. But I’m glad she has moved on and is happier than before.’ I said, air-quoting the phrase “arrogant bastard”.

‘Clearly, this job means a lot to her or else, she wouldn’t have forced you to let her continue being your secretary.’

‘Yeah. She’s the best secretary I’ve had so far. She has never given me any chance to scold her or correct her. She’s the only one in this office who hasn’t been scolded by me regarding work. If there’s someone who understands me after you, it’s her.’

‘And I’m glad she has taken care of you in the worst of your moods.’

I smiled, nodding in agreement.

‘Any plans tonight?’ I asked Nandini.

‘No. Why?’

‘At my place, then? After work?’

‘Sure.’ She said and I smiled, blowing her a kiss.

|Nandini’s POV|

I had never been to Manik’s place before. It was a huge mansion that stood erect in the heart of the city. It could be easily misjudged as a monument. The mansion had a huge garden area with fountains and thousands of flowers of all colours imaginable. A straight interlocked pavement led to the main entrance of the mansion. It was white as snow and was majestic. I was awestruck by just the outer part of the mansion and I was wondering what it would be like on the inside.

Manik led me to his home, his hand entwined in mine. The interior was more impressive. Everything in there was made of wood. A nice fragrance welcomed us. For the next thirty minutes, I explored the home, running and squealing in awe just like a little kid. In the end, we entered Manik’s room and it was the best part of the house. The colour theme of the room was grey and black. It was classy with a majestic bed in the centre. On one side was a big transparent door that led directly to a swimming pool in the lawn area. On both sides of the bed a lampshade was placed above a black side table. The lighting was also dim and that added to the beauty. I caught Manik staring right into my eyes. He didn’t look away when I reciprocated. We just looked into each other’s eyes as though it was a staring contest. The sexual tension was building rapidly between and I couldn’t resist when it reached the limit. I jumped into his arms and kissed his lips passionately. Thankfully, he had caught me and lifted me off the floor. He reciprocated the kiss and we kissed like our life depended on it. He placed me on his bed and removed my clothing one by one until I was completely bare and when he was about to go down on me, I stopped him.

‘Let me start this time.’ I said and he shrugged.

I undressed his clothes one by one and finally, I pulled down his boxers to reveal him completely. I grabbed his member in my hand and he was hard at that instant. U stroked it and he moaned. It was too big for my mouth and I liked it that way. I put it in my mouth and moved my head up and down feeling it deep down my throat and his moans kept on getting louder. He was making me hard with his moans. I continued the process. I felt the warmth of his juice on my face. It was really sexy and I even tasted it. I just loved all of it. Before he could do the same to me, his phone rang. He wasn’t willing to take it but when he looked at the caller ID, he picked up the call.

‘Hello?’ He said.

He listened to the other side for a few seconds before his expression changed.

‘What?’ He said, his face wearing a shocked expression.

I looked at him worriedly.

‘Oh shit!’ He exclaimed in anger.
