Manik was pretty pissed off with whatever was happening. Just when everything was getting back on track in his life, another bomb had dropped in his life. He felt as if God didn't like to see him happy. He couldn't think of any way to get out of this situation. When Manik told Nandini about what Harshad had told him on the phone, she was devastated too.

'Manik, don't worry... everything will be alright. You know that you haven't done anything wrong, so God will help you out. Just take it as a test.' Nandini advised him.
'I have been on a test for my whole life, Nandini and I'm sure I've failed in it. But now, when everything is going to be alright, another problem has uprooted.' Manik said, looking at Nandini. His eyes clearly said that he was helpless in this situation. Nandini was worried about him but at the same time, she had to be strong for him too. She couldn't afford to be his weakness at this time when Manik himself was weak.

'Manik, just remember one thing, that in the end, truth always wins. There's no place for falsity in this world.' Nandini told Manik.

Manik just nodded. He appreciated the efforts of Nandini to make him stronger. Strangely enough, she did give him strength. He had no plans on how he would come out of this crisis but he was sure that in the end, he would win.

All over the media, only one news was trending, the news of how Manik had deceived Harshad. The news claimed that Manik was a fraud and that he was running his business by taking money from people and not returning them back. Manik was obviously stressed out. This was the first time he was facing a crisis in his business and it was also the first time his company was at stake. Till now, his company hadn't faced any problems but this time it seemed like it was going to affect the company badly.

Manik finally decided to meet Harshad face to face. He wanted to settle down this matter but he had no intentions of compromising. He wasn't that type of person who would bow in front of others, especially when there was a moron like Harshad in front of him. It was obvious that he wasn't giving up on Nandini, nor was he giving up the company because he knew that he would win in the end as Nandini had said. He trusted Nandini and her faith in God. He was on the right path and nobody could harm him or Nandini or the company in this case.

He decided to meet Harshad at a secured place, away from all the media. He called Harshad and asked him to meet at his farm house. Harshad knew where his farm house was. Manik warned him not to bring any media person along with him.

'If you bring anyone else with you, I swear this will be your last day on earth.' Manik said to him over the phone.

'Don't worry, buddy. It will be only the two of us and also Nandini.' Harshad said but by that time, Manik had hung up the call.
Manik had to disguise himself so that no one would recognize him. It was a blessing that the media didn't know about his farm house. Manik wore a hoodie and covered his head. He wore a thick jacket over it and covered his face with a muffler. The climate was freezing cold anyway and this was a perfect disguise. He wore blue jeans and tan boots along with them. He didn't dare to drive his car so he had to hire a cab to his destination. The cab driver looked at him time and again. He found the man in his cab weird as hell. He never spoke a word and was completely covered in clothes even though it was quite warm inside the cab and the windows were closed too. The cab driver tried to initiate a conversation with him but Manik didn't respond. Manik was pretty pissed off that he had to travel in a cab leaving out the luxury of his Rolls Royce. The things he did for love and his company!

By the time he reached his farm house, he noticed that Harshad had already reached there and was waiting for him by the gate. 
Manik exited the cab and paid the fare. He walked towards Harshad half-heartedly. Harshad had his trademark annoying smirk on his face which Manik wished to wipe out at the moment.

'Let's get straight to the point.' Manik said.
'That's not how you greet your old friend, Manik Malhotra.' Harshad said, winking.
Manik rolled his eyes in anger.

'And I asked you to bring Nandini along with you.' Harshad said.

'Your words mean nothing to me, Harshad and henceforth, I don't act on it.' Manik replied with a straight face.

'Wow! You haven't changed a bit, Manik Malhotra.' 

Manik just gave him a fake, mocking smile.

'Why are you doing this?' Manik asked straightly.

'You very well know why I'm doing this.'

'You are doing this for a girl who once was your girlfriend? 

I never took you for such a soft-hearted fellow.' Manik said, with the same smirk as Harshad.

'Nandini is just one reason. There are many more.' Harshad said, his facial expressions changing now.

'And what are they?' Manik asked, raising his right eyebrow.

'Your destruction.' Harshad spat.

Aha really harshad you think you can say anything with that mouth and I will say yes sir, in your dreams.. 

Manik agree disagree is not my thing, I'm just saying what if learned about you in this many years do you remember how you were fucking inaya some days ago and now your ex again in your life, are you taking revenge with sweetness bcoz I don't think manik can forgive easily, God will not give punishment but manik malhotra it can't be saved bcoz manik malhotra is nor human nor devil he is the guy who make people suffer without making them realize and once the revenge gets over the manik malhotra disappeares and go from their life like they never exist.. 

Just like you did with nandini.. And then people realize oh f*** He was taking revenge.
