Anneliese's POV

Julian and I are at the vet clinic with both of our cats, so Serafina could have her check up. Also so he could book an appointment to desex Coco. "Ah so this is the cat who got yours pregnant" the vet states as we entered the room.

"Yes it is" I tell him smiling.

"I need to organize an appointment to get him desexed" Julian states.

"You can do that at the front desk" the vet tells him. "So how is the expectant mother?" he asks.

"She is well and I can actually notice her pregnancy now, instead of her looking overweight" I tell him and he chuckles. "She has started to lick around her nipples" I state.

"That's a good sign" he tells me as I take her out of her carrier. He feels around her stomach like usual and smiles. "I can feel the individual fetus' now and my speculation was right. She has five or six kittens" he states.

"Are the kittens healthy?" Julian asks.

"Lets find out" the vet states pulling out the ultrasound machine. I hold Serafina like last time and he places the wand on her belly turning the screen on. "All of the kittens are healthy and as is the mother" he tells us patting Serafina as she purrs.

"When do I need to bring her in again?" I ask.

"Seven to fourteen days" he tells me. Julian and I leave the room heading over to the desk. I organize my appointment and Julian does the same. We then drop them off at my place where Nicole was waiting.

"Please take good care of her" I tell Nicole as I let Serafina out. Julian does the same with Coco and he follows Serafina to her birth box.

"Don't worry, they're in safe hands with me" Nicole assures me. Julian and I then go to my doctors appointment where mum meet us. We are in my car with our luggage, so we can go to the airport after the appointment.

"How do you feel?" Nurse Tricia asks.

"Fine, though I have had a little morning sickness since the last appointment" I tell her.

"Good, any cravings?" she asks.

"For shellfish, which is weird I hate seafood. Unless it's squid, but now I can't even smell squid without vomiting" I tell her.

"That does happen" she tells me giggling. "Let's look at the little ones shall we" she suggests. I left my top to expose my stomach and she places the gel on. Then places the wand on turning on the screen.

"They're beautiful" mum says holding me hand.

"They're perfect" Julian says holding my other hand.

"What to see something cool?" the nurse asks and we nod our heads. She presses a button on the machine and a sound fills the room.

"Is that?" I ask tearing up.

"The twins heart beats" she says smiling. "Both are strong" she tells us as she takes photos. Then turns the machine off cleaning my belly. "I'll see you in two weeks, but here is a prescription for pills to help with your nausea. Take them every morning, following the instructions on the label" she instructs.

I agree and Julian along with mum assure her they'll make sure I take the pills. We leave the hospital after booking my next appointment. I drive Julian and I to the airport with mum behind us. We get through security after placing our luggage on the convenor belt. Now we wait in near the gate eating some food with our carry on bags.

"Flight 379 to Italy now boarding at gate three" a voice says over the intercom system. We line up and hand the flight attendant our boarding passes. We're flying first class thanks to Julian, when mum and I usually travel business class or economy class. But if Julian had his way we'd be using his private jet instead of going first class.

"This is nice" mum states as we take our sits.

"Yeah, but I plan on getting some sleep" I tell her. Julian say across from me while mum sits behind me. The plane takes off and I place some head phones on. As the sound of soothing music plays I fall asleep.
