Anneliese's POV

We landed in Adelaide safely, mum decided to stay in Italy a little longer. So it was just Katherine, Julian and I. Clarence was left to look after Eliza, Jackie and Wallie. Nicole was coming to collect us from the airport with her brother. We got through security and collected our luggage. But Julian wouldn't let me carry mine. So placed it on a trolley with his, while Katherine pushed her own trolley with her luggage.

I spot Nicole and Falcon. So I lead the others over to them. "Anneliese" Nicole cheers hugging me. Then Falcon lefts me up spinning me around once before placing me down. Then shakes Julian's hand saying hello.

"Why hello" he says spotting Katherine. "Falcon Weller, at your service" he says kissing her hand, making her giggle.

"Katherine Reid at yours" she says curtsying slightly.

"What do you say we ditch the lovebirds and my sister?" Falcon asks. Katherine agrees after I give her a nod. Falcon assured us he'd return her after lunch. The rest of us then get into Nicole's car, me sitting in the front passenger. While Julian sat alone in the back pouting.

"So how are Serafina and Coco?" I ask Nicole.

"They're well, Coco is now desexed and Serafina is due to give birth in about seven days" she states. "How did things go in Italy?" she asks.

"It went well, mum is trying to mend ties with my biological father. Abigail and I get along ok. I meet Julian's best friend Clarence, along with Clarence's three sisters. You just meet one of them Katherine" I explain.

"She's the one you're trying to set Falcon up with?" she asks and I nod my head. "She seems nice enough, but still doesn't have my seal of approval" she states. "Do you have pictures from the ball?" she asks and I nod my head. "You guys must be tired, so I'll drop you back at your place Anneliese. Then leave you to rest" she adds.

"I need to call April to see how the shop is going" I state.

"Not until you've slept" Julian tells me.

"Ok fine, I'll rest" I tell them. "But you and Falcon are invited to dinner tomorrow tonight. Along with Erica and April" I tell Nicole. We reach my place at ten am and Nicole helps Julian bring the luggage in. While I greet our two happy cats. Nicole then left us alone to sleep. We fell asleep on my bed, me in Julian's arms.

(Three hours later)

I woke to a camera flashing and see April along with Erica giggling at a photo. "Don't you two knock" I complain snuggling into Julian's chest.

"We did" April states.

"But you didn't answer" Erica finishes and I roll my eyes. "No get up, we brought lunch" she states. Julian wakes up grumbling and we get off of the bed. We enter the dining room to see a tired Katherine, Falcon and Nicole here also.

"Sorry, I tried to tell them you were sleeping" Nicole tells us.

"It's fine" I assure her as I see Katherine having a coffee. Turns out they brought us Chinese with prawn chips. We ate talking about our time in Italy. April told me the shop was going well, but a few dresses needed mending and/or crocheting.

"You aren't to work until tomorrow" Julian tells me and I nod my head.

"Who are you? And what have you done with Anneliese?" Falcon asks me. "You never agree to something without fighting" he states.

"I've matured Falcon and am now an expectant mother carrying twins" I tell him.

"So it is true, I thought Nicole was joking" he states. "Do you know what you're having yet?" he asks.

"No, it's to soon for that" I tell him. "But Katherine's sisters think I'm having two girls" I add.

"No, to many girls. They have to be boys" he states and we all laugh. "Hey Julian, let's go have a drink. Leave the girls to talk" he suggests. Julian agrees kissing my forehead before leaving.

"So Katherine tell us about yourself" Nicole says.

"I own a pub/bar in Canada, have a business degree along with a law one. I have a younger brother and two younger sisters. My brother owns a Jack Russell called Wallie. I'm single looking for the right person to, fall in love, marry and have a family with. This is my first time in Australia" Katherine explains.

"We have to take you out clubbing then, we're one girl short because Anneliese is pregnant" Erica states. "No offense girl" she tells me.

"It's cool Erica" I assure her as the boys return. We all watch Avengers: Age of Ultron before the others leave. Katherine goes to sleep in the spare room before dinner. I then started to do the wash clothes while Julian did the dishes from lunch.
