Anneliese's POV

"So you ready to find out the gender of you babies?" the nurse asks us smiling. I'm now 28 weeks pregnant. The kittens are now 19 and 1/2 weeks old. All six are desexed and with their respective new owners. There were two girls called Yuki and Bella. Then the four boys; Snow-bell, Coco Jr, Brownie and Tre. Anyway back to the story, I'm about to find out the gender of my babies.

"Yes we are" Julian says smiling while he holds my hand. We're together now, as are Falcon and Katherine. Mum is due to come home this weekend. But will miss tomorrow baby shower.

"A friend of ours thinks it's two girls" I tell her smiling.

"Well lets find out if she was right or not" she says as she places the gel onto my stomach. She turns on the ultrasound machine and places the wand onto my stomach. Moving it around while we all watch the screen. "I can tell you that your friend was..."

(After the appointment)

"So be back in a fortnight and have a lovely baby shower" the nurse says smiling. Julian wraps his arm around me. We thank her and then Julian goes to book an appointment while I call April.

"The twins are..." I say and then speak to her a little.Before hanging up so that she and her mum could decorate the cake for tomorrow. Julian reappears and we head outside. "So what's this great surprise?" I ask him as we get into his car. The driver pulls out of the parking lot. "I still wish you'd let me drive or you drive" I grumble.

"I'm not telling you what the surprise is and a driver makes things easier. You won't give up house chores or work. The least you can do is not drive" he tells me.

"I'm pregnant, not disabled" I remind him. We pull to a stop and I look out the window. "Why are we at the park?" I ask him confused. Why are we in Fremont Park?

"Surprise, we're having a picnic at the rotunda" Julian announces. He gets out of the car and holds a hand out to me. I allow him to help me out of the car and guide me to the rotunda. Where a lovely picnic had already been set up. We sit down and he pours us some apple juice. "So are you ok with the genders?" I ask him.

"I'm fine with as long as they and you are healthy" he says smiling. "Are you sure I can't come to the baby shower tomorrow?" he asks me.

"It's a girl thing, besides Falcon said he'd take you out for the day" I tell him. I then help myself to the white grapes. "So what are we going to nam..." I start to ask turning back to Julian. But stop when I see him on one knee holding a velvet ring box.

"Anneliese I love you to the moon and beyond. You don't have to be a princess or queen. I just wish for you to be my wife and only mother of our children. So will you marry me?" he asks opening the box. To reveal a white gold natural emerald and diamond ring. "So no pressure right?" I ask and he nods his head. "Then of course I'll marry you" I say smiling as I kiss him. We pull away and he puts the ring on my finger. I then frown as I look at it thinking.

"What's wrong Elise?" Julian asks me.

"I want to marry before the kids are born, but I look like a whale at the moment" I tell him.

"You look beautiful" he tells me smiling as he strokes my belly. The babies kick his hands and he smiles. Kissing my belly. "I love all three of you" he says. Then goes into deep thought. "How about this? We get a couple of witnesses and go to a court house to get married. But once the kids are born and a few months old. We have a real wedding" he suggests.

"That'd be perfect" I say hugging him tightly. "You have to be at the baby shower tomorrow, so that we can announce our engagement" I tell him. "Call Falcon and tell him he's invited, but we tell no one of the engagement until the end of the baby shower" I state.

(Next day, baby shower)

I'd just got a call from my builder the frame of my house has gone up. Everything should be built hopefully by the time the babies are born. Anyway the baby shower is going great and I love the cake April made. It's perfect for the announcement of the babies genders. Which is about to happen.

Julian won one of the games guessing how big my belly is with a piece of string. Falcon didn't win any games, but Katherine did. It looks like Erica is going to win the baby game. I wish my mum could of been here. Just then there was a knock at the door. I went to answer to see my mum, Lillian, Charlie, Eliza, Jackie, Clarence and Abigail.

"Surprise" Jackie and Eliza say hugging me.

"We're not to late for the announcement are we?" Abigail asks.

"No you're just in time" Julian states after hugging his mum. We lead them all into the living room. Where everyone else greeted them. "Ok everyone settle down" Julian instructs. "Elise and I have two very special announcements to make" he stats holding my hand.

"But the first will be the babies genders" I add. "It's twin..." I say lifting the clash covering the cake. "Girls" I finish with Julian and everyone cheers.

"I knew it!" Eliza shouts and we laugh.

"Also I asked this remarkable woman to marry me" Julian states and everyone goes silent.

"And I said 'yes'" I announce and the girls squeal pulling me into a group hug. Before demanding to see my ring. While Falcon, Clarence and Charlie congratulate Julian. Until he pulls away from them and calls everyones attention with Charlie at his side.

"I have one last announcement" he states and I look at him confused. "My mother is no longer the Queen of Italy. Charles has taken his rightful place as King and Abigail the next future queen. She and Clarence are courting" he announces. He comes over to me and kisses me gently. "I choose you three and only you three" he tells me. I hug him while crying tears of joy.

"I love you Julian" I tell him.

"And I love you" he states. Just then mum walks over with Charlie. "Congrats on the new position" Julian says shaking his hand.

"Just take care of my daughter and granddaughters" Charlie tells him. "Now come, the girls need to talk" he states leading Julian away.

"Are you and him back together?" I ask mum.

"Courting" she states. "Honey are you sure you want to marry Julian, he's still a prince. Just not the next heir" she tells me.

"I'm sure, he asked me to be his wife. Nothing more" I tell her. The rest of the baby shower went great and Erica did win the baby word game. Having collected twenty bangles from people who said baby. Everyone went to their respective homes and before dinner. After dinner Julian and I went to bed early. As I was exhausted from the day's events.
