I slowly pushed my big bag and small bag out of our airport I was tired of flying for 8 hours I was done.

I had 3 moods, hungry, horny or tired I swear this baby is already turning everything upside down I am not complaining though.

I waited for my Uber,  and when it came he just sat and refused to help me with my luggage.

Chivalry is dead...

I gently carried my bag and put it nicely at the boot and waited for him to drive me home.

He drove like he was on a suicide mission who the fuck drives like that here?

Finally, he was at my house I quickly paid him and jumped out with my bags and ran for my life I pray I never see him again.

I went to the front door and rang our doorbell...

Urgh, mom?

I called her and she answered.

"Mommy please open for me"

"Okay okay "

She opened the door and I got in...ahhh still smells like home.

My mom loves roses that's why my other name I hate is Rose, I only hate it because my sperm donor loved calling me rose.

I ran passed her cause I needed to puke why do I still have morning sickness?

She made me ginger ale and I drank it.

"I'll take your bags to the guest room"

"Why not my old room"

"After you left me and your dad turned your rooms into our little playroom"

I threw up again in my mouth...

"Euw mommy you're the first lady"

"I was happily married and there's nothing wrong with having a healthy sex life with your husband pastor or not"

"I'm gonna throw up"

"So what brings you home you haven't been here for 5 years" she gave me a look, she didn't waste time!

"I'm sorry after dad died everything felt heavy I know I wasn't supposed to run but it seemed easier"

"I know but your dad didn't blame you and he didn't hate you"

"Thank you, mommy"

"So Todd threesome and you pregnant?"

Urgh, I'm going to kill Tae.

"That's why I'm here"

"Baby why on earth would you agree to that?"

"Because I couldn't give him kids"

"All you needed was time and faith now look at God"

"I know mom I was desperate"

She rolled her eyes...

"Go wear something comfy and come eat" it was 10 I'm and I was tired I needed food and a bed.

So I went to freshen up and wore Todd's joggers they looked better on me anyway, with my t-shirt.

We had late dinner she waited for me and I just say I missed her food and warmth.

"Mommy I'm sorry I didn't come home"

"I understood baby love makes you do crazy stuff I won't judge you when I put my mom through the same thing," she said squeezing my hand.

After a while, I told her I'm tired and went to sleep, in the nice big bed with my fluffy blanket it felt really good to be home.

I quickly texted Tae that I'm safe and saw missed calls from Todd.

I switched my phone off and fell asleep...

I ignored a sound...

Really? I checked the time and it was 7 am what the fuck!

My mom was there smiling cleaning the bedroom she opened the curtains while I was having my beauty sleep.

At least I wasn't horny...

"Wake up baby we have a lot to do today"

"Who?"

"You and me now get that big  ass off the bed and go shower I've made breakfast"

"Tae's ass is bigger," I said annoyed.

I wanted to cry but got up and showered.

After I was done we started walking and by walking I mean her stopping to say hi to everyone and showing off that her daughter is back the youngest and is doing well.

My face hurt from smiling but I was hungry and as we walked I saw someone that looked like Ron (aka sperm donor ).

I didn't even ask my mom I looked away I wasn't ready to see him so we walked for what felt like years.

"Mommy my feet hurt and I'm hungry"

"Awww please I'm 65 and look at me"

"Mom I'm pregnant"

"So pregnancy means no feet?"

I rolled my eyes...

"Fine remember the diner"

"Yes, daddy loved bringing me here after Bible study" she nodded.

We walked in and I got hit with many emotions.

Suddenly I was 13 again and we were having burgers and fries with some cold drink.

When we were full I couldn't walk and didn't have my purse which meant we had to walk back again.

My mom wants to kill me!

When we got back it was almost 3 pm so I showered and wore joggers again.

I took a nap because my eyes were too heavy and I was tired.

Got woken up by a cold breeze must have fallen asleep without a blanket so I woke up.

"Mommy" I called for her, you know the panic you have when kids are suddenly quiet? That's exactly how I felt.

I panicked when I didn't see my mom.

But found her making dinner in the kitchen so I sat next to her and watched her cook Like we used to with Tae.

She made her steak, mash, and cheese sauce and baked her famous garlic bread with a caesar salad.

And when she was done we made the table and sat there eating just us two.

How does she continue like she's not in pain like she didn't lose dad? Her strength made me feel in awe.

"How did you do it, mommy"

"I don't put too much oil..." I cut her off

"I meant to survive without dad"

"I prayed for strength and let God take care of what I prayed for while I did my part"

That made sense...

"What would you have done if Todd was dad"

"Deal with my shit so he doesn't get the power to use them against me"

I nodded understanding what she meant.

"Do you know where she is?"

"No baby I tried looking for her but reached too many dead ends"

"I think about her a lot since I fell pregnant"

"It's normal baby she's your flesh and blood."

"Sometimes I feel like I regret giving her away"

"I too baby especially being in this big house alone"

She handed me something but when I looked at it my heart dropped it was a picture of my daughter.

"She beautiful how did you"

She ignored my question she gets that way when she doesn't want to talk about something ill drop it for now but she needs to explain where she got her pic, she has my eyes and she's very beautiful.
