I never suspected Raph as I felt we were so close that there was nothing he could possibly be hiding from me,well that proved to be wrong as a month into the relationship,I found out there was one girl on his WhatsApp who kept chatting him up and it felt odd as he usually left his phone with me and even hold me while chatting online sometimes.

One evening I decided to check further to know what was up. I had been hurt previously in my two relationships and so I wanted to be sure I wasn't building castles in the air,I read the chat and his replies to the girl was harmless but she was always chatting like she knew him on some personal level;telling Him when she has menstrual cramps and other girly stuffs. I dropped the phone and said nothing till the next day.

"So who's Morenike" I asked,at first he was shocked but he shrugged it off and answered me calmly and that was when he told me about her. They had grown up together and she was his childhood friend who had been there for him when things got tough. I understood with him and I didn't think about it further until a day when I was checking something out on his phone and I noticed her chat again and then my FBI instincts kicked in,she had texted him saying she wanted to keep off before his girlfriend thinks she used juju on him, I found that really weird considering the fact that Raph had asked me not to worry about her as she was a harmless friend and he made me understand she has a boyfriend over there with her;but her chat with him was flirty and all.

He told me that although she liked him when they were younger before she traveled out,he felt no attraction to her as she was more like a sister to him.

I believed him and never bothered myself again.

We were happy until a month before my birthday when I checked his phone and that was when I got the greatest shock of my life. They had a thing,She had gotten angry at him for using my picture on his WhatsApp profile and she had asked him what that was,he had replied her begging her to understand that the fact he wants to build a home with her doesn't mean he shouldn't start learning how to. So it was obvious he was learning to "build home" with me and then when she gets back to Nigeria,they kick it off,I couldn't read further and my heart was thumping real fast.

I couldn't sleep that night and he noticed,I had dumped the phone and gotten dressed to leave. I told him I was done and that it was over between us. He had pleaded and begged and begged. He promised to cut things off with her and he said the reason he was maintaining relations with her was because he wanted his little sister to go study abroad and he would like Morenike to watch over her. 

I told him he had to cut whatever they had off if he needed me to stay and he immediately did.

The next day,she called and asked to speak with me and she kept going on in an overly practiced British accent about how they had grown up together and all. She wanted to know where I worshipped and if we had met in Raph's church,what course I studied and bla bla bla. I told her I would get her number from Raph and I did and texted her later. That must have been a wrong move as I noticed she would come online almost the same time as Raph and go offline almost the same time too. His replies would be slow when he was online and now that I remember I guess as our conversations got slower,it got longer with Morenike.

    My birthday had come and Raph had made it fun by having my friends over and hosting them. It was fun and he was so sweet. But that night we had a fight over Morenike again as she kept rearing her head in the relationship. I had texted her over WhatsApp to let my relationship be and face her boyfriend over there but she refused. She had gone abusive and I remember trading words with her. 

Raph had finally called things off with her and told her off when she tried disrespecting me .We were good until he unblocked her again and said he didn't want to appear like a kid. It was then things got stronger between them and I felt totally heart broken,It now became like a routine. I would see their chats and get mad and break up,he would beg and beg me to stay and call things off with her and just when I'm about to catch my breath I would peep some shit again.

That relationship took the best of my time and led me further to have more trust issues as I no longer trusted Raph.
