     A familar sound filled my ears... I cracked open my eyes slowly to be filled with bright light. I'm assuming its the next morning....Of course, it's the Monokubs up this early....

     "Rise and shine, ursine! This is the official morning announcement! They chimed together.

    "It's 8 a.m, bitches! Time to wake up and face the blood-drenched day!" Monokid cursed.

    Monosuke added. "I wonder who's dead this morning?"

    "STOOPPP0PPP! If I suddenly see a dead body, I'll puke again!" Monophanie winner.

    Monotaro dismissed us with, "Enjoy your killing school semester!"

    "I hate those bears..." I mumbled and dove my head deeper under the pillows. I tried to dive back to sleep before someone gripped tighter around my waist..."

"P..please don't move..." Kaede mumbled.

    'i never knew kaede was a heavy sleeper.'

    "We've gotta get up.." I rolled out of her grasp before stretching. I picked up my clothing from yesterday and headed into the bathroom. I changed and walked out to Kaede fully dressed with a smile on her face. "How did..."

    "Mhm?" She asked.

    "Nothing, don't worry.." I mumbled; 'typical anime characters getting ready in 0.5 seconds.'

    "Ready to go?" She asked with her hand on the door. I grabbed my bag before nodding, she opened it wide enough for both of us to walk by.

     Nobody was outside the dormitory.

    I was hoping to at least see Shuichi... We walked outside to be met with somewhat fresh air. The bricks made a soft 'clack' whenever we walked on them. Kaede rambled on and on while I just listened.

    She wasn't really interested in talking to anyone else.. we walked passed some people with a soft wave.

    We walked in through the main entrance and sure enough Shuichi was there. "Hey Shuichi!"

    "M-Morning Y/N, morning Kaede." He greeted.

    Kaede gritted her teeth while I was the first one to greet the detective. "Morning, Shuichi. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at the dining hall?"

    "I was just on my way there...I'm.." he paused and looked at Kaede. "Kaede?"

    "Yeah?"

    "...Ah, it's nothing. The others are probably waiting for us...we should go." Shuichi walked ahead and Kaede had her inner monologue. I caught up with Shuichi. We left kaede to herself.

    I looked at the detective. We both stopped and I got close to him. I looked into his eyes and hummed. "Y-Y/N! W-what....are you doing?!?"

    I didn't answer him, continuing to look into his eyes. "I didn't know you had such pretty eyes, Shuichu. Do you put on eyeliner every day? It looks nice."

    "T.. Thank you." I moved back finally and we walked down the hallway. Kaede rushed in between us, pushing us farther apart. She gripped out hands and ran with them.

    "We shouldn't be late!"

    "But we have time?!" I shouted at her when we started to run. I almost crashed into a wall..was she trying to kill me?

    We ran into the cafeteria, Shuichi opened the door for us while we all ran in.

    "Oh! Everyone's already here?" She asked.

    "Now..all of us have arrived." Korekiyo grinned. "Kehehe..I'm glad. It looks as though there we no victims."

    "But of course!" Kiibo argued.

    "by the way..." Kokichi started, "are you okay, Kaede?"

    "huh? What do you mean?"

    "Well...you looked really--"

    "I have a question!" I screamed with my hand raised.

Everyone looked at me surprised. I wanted to get Kaede out of this situation fast, but I should've kept my mouth close... I didn't even see any options popping up on my screen...

    "...what is it?" Rantaro asked.

    "ah..well.." I fumbled with my fingers.. "where did this food come from?"

    Kirumi grinned at me. "Allow me to answer this for you. Monokuma said theirs a kitchen in the back where food is prepared every day. I only choose a handful of options and laid them out for everyone."

    "all by yourself?!"

    She nodded, "Of course."

    "She is the ultimate maid for a reason..." Ryoma laughed sightly.

    "Wel--" Kokichi started up again before I cut him off.

    "That's still a lot for one person. You should'a waited for me to get here, I would've helped you!" Kokichi shot me a death glare before sighing.

    "I have no problem doing it by myself." She smiled. "Thank you for the offer."

    White butterflies softly spun around me. 'did I do something good?'

    We all sat down, Shuichi sat to my left, Kaede was upset and sat on my right. She turned away from me and looked at the other end of the table. "Let's all think of a way to get out of here."

    'Is...is she angry with me? Just before we were fine together...'

    Monokuma popped up behind me with a laugh. I screamed and crashed into the table in front of me.

    "Scaring Y/N is so much fun!" He laughed. If I didn't know any better I'll kick him. "Before you do that, I have an announcement!"

    "Hey! Don't just show up! It's too much stress for my heart!" Tsumugi wined. 'pfft, aren't you the Mastermind? Why are you scared?'

    Monokuna apologized. "I didn't mean to not surprise you"

    "so you did mean to surprise us?" Himiko wined.

    Rantaro had no patience with the black and white bear, "What is it?"

    "Its not terribly important, but...Its easier to stay alive by being an obvious goody two-shoes, right?" 'was...that a jab at Rantaro?' "Being thrusted into a killing game doesn't mean you'll be able to kill someone so easily..." 'it most definitely was pointed at him..' "So I figured I'd ease you into the killing game by giving you motivation to kill."

    "Motivation to kill?" Maki asked.

    "In short, a motive! That oughta add some mystery to the proceedings! Even if a killer is exposed, they could wip up a sob story to decieve everyone."

    "W-What are you saying?" Kiibo shouted.

    "I will now announce the first motive! Make sure you record this moment for posterity!" He laughed.

    "Yeah, let me take out my journal to document this." I rolled my eyes.

    "Might as well do it." We looked into each others eyes. "I'm waiting."

    I mumbled, "I was fucking joking half and half." I slung off my bag and took out my journal. I looked at him to continue.

    "Now then, the special motive I've prepared is called the First Blood Perk'! Wow! For the first murder that occurs, no class trial will be held! Can you believe it?" He laughed.

    'No...' I finished writing down what the bear instructed with some notes.

    "No class trial will be held?" Maki asked.

    "I'm sorry that I made the class trial more important then it really is..." He grinned. "So for the first murder, I've decided not to hold a class trial at all. Please just relax, calm down and kill! After all, the first ones free!"

    "Huh? That's all?! We just gotta kill someone to get outta here!?"

    "That's all?! What's that supposed to mean?!" Kiibo shouted at miu.

    "First Blood Perk!? Doesn't that make it sound like some kind of game show bonus!" Tenko cried.

    "Puhuhu....You say that, but I bet you're really happy, huh?" Monokuma asked the pigtailed girl.

    "There's no way I'm happy!" She cried.

    "S-Stop messing around... Do you think this is fun for us?!" Kaede cried. "Do you really think I'd kill someone just to get out? In your dreams! We're not gonna lose to you! We promised each other we'd escape together from this place!"

    "Phuhuhu... spare me your false bravado. You should be focusing on how you plan to survive. You just gotta kill someone, right?"

    Kaito growled, "Why you...bastard!"

    'this is going to be a long day...'
