While trying to run away from the battle in front of us, we jumped into the entrance hall. Gontas arms are still tightly wrapped around my legs.

"I-It's become a really ridiculous development..." Tsumugi huffed, she leaned onto Gontas' side , catching her breath.

"Stupid robots have rebelled against humans... just as we've apprehended..." Kokichi winned.

"But why did Monokuma leave those weapons inside of his Research Room?" Kirumi asked.

"....Don't you think he let his guard down too much?" Maki picked at her nails as the floor shook again.

Himiko squealed, latching onto her girlfriend, "Eeeeee! I, I'm not scared! I'm not scared!"

"Hey, what are we going to do?" Angie asked.

"...I told you." Shuichi started, "We're going to end this killing game, just like I said. We need to find the truth."

"And... just what should we look for?"

Rantaro answered the small artist, "...Of course, we're going to find the identity of the one who's been planning this killing game. The mastermind."

"T-The mastermind... huh? Is there really a mastermind in the school?" Tsumugi hummed.

"If the outside world is ruined, then the mastermind should be inside of this school." Maki glared down at Kokichi, "I still think that Kokichi is the mastermind."

"God, that lie was sooooo boring." He rolled his eyes.

"I still think you're the mastermind..."

"But I'm not?"

"Yes you are."

"No, I'm not!" They went back and forth and kokichi grinned, quickly saying, "Yes I am!"

"No you're not-- wait."

"If you insist!" Makis eyes flared with anger as Kokichi tricked her.

"A-Anyways..., we were the only sixteen students chosen for the Gopher Plan, as the last remaining humans...!" Rantaro slowly brought the attention back to himself from the two of them bickering.

"But there's the possibility that someone sneaked into the Gopher Plan..." Ryoma sighed.

"If that person is the mastermind, they must be hiding somewhere in this school." Maki glared at Kokichi, expecting him to explain where the hidden base was.

"Someone... Do you mean a Remnant of Despair?" Gonta asked from under me.

"So then, were there other Remnants of Despair?"

Maki glared at Tsumugi, causing the blue hair cosplayer to quickly look away, "If we can find them and kill them, that would end the killing game."

"I-I don't know about killing them, but... If we find where the mastermind is hiding, it's possible that the mastermind is hiding somewhere in this school." Shuichi gulped.

"This school is kinda big. There might be places that we haven't seen yet." I sighed, playing with Gontas' hair. 'It's so smooth.... Wow. No tangles.'

"So there'd be great value in searching around." Ryoma agreed.

"But that's not just the only truth that we should be searching for..." Shuichi hummed, "In order to end this killing game, it's not about the despair from the mastermind... We need to find hope as well." They eleven of us discussed hope, the mastermind and whatnot. Tsumugi out of the corner of my eyes started to sweat, she was shaking and playing with her little jacket. She must be at her limit... poor girl is tired.

"Well then, let's all split up." Rantaro offered, Gonta let me down from his back as soon as he decided it was safe enough.

"Nhaah? Everyone's going to split up? I thought we were in a unionized mood."

"Well... there's no time. There's no helping it." Maki shrugged.

"Yeah, later. If you want to walk with someone, go ahead. Just try and find as many clues as you can..."

"Alright, I have to go. Before daybreak, I have to stop this killing game---" Before Shuichi could continue with his sentence, the ground once again shook. The front building collapsed and a big hole opened up. Text loaded in front of us.

"If so, there might be clues here, so let's go." Rantaro grinned. We all walked down the hole, Angie happily led the way down the hole. We made our way down the dim makeshift hallway and we stopped when a big door blocked our path.

"Is this a Super High School Level Research Room?" Kokichi asked. "It looks so boring."

'There should have been one Research Room left...Whos is it?' I wondered.

"Kokichi Ouma, Super High School Level Supreme Leader Research Room." Shuichi reached forwards to the handle before Kokichi jumped his arm. The door was broken so the only thing standing between us and his ultimate lab was Kokichi himself.

"Move." Maki ordered.

"No! I won't allow any of you to come in!" Kokichi argued. 'God, he's alive now, so he would rather fight than let anyone enter his lab.

"If any of you step into this lab without my permission, all of you will die!" He shouted, glaring us all down.

"Kokichi--"

"Shut up!" He cut off Shuichi, "I won't let you in! I've ridged it with taps! Filled to the brim!"

The two argued for a while before Shuichi turned to us. He gathered everyone in a mini huddle. "We need to get into that lab..."

"It's obvious he won't take all of us." Tenko argued.

"I say have Gonta hold him down."

"H-Hey! I can hear you guys!"

"Maki!" Gontas face whitened. "That's not very gentlemanly! Kokichi is our friend!"

"No no, I say you should do it." Tenko shoved the Ultimate a thumbs up with a grin. Koko His nostrils flared with anger. He gripped onto the rubble to the point where his already pale knuckles turned an even more ghostly white.

"Guys, Kokich Is our friend--"

"--Not my friend--"

"--Anyways..." I ignored Maki, "We shouldn't go in without his permission, it was like us with your ultimate lab."

"Whatever..." Maki sighed, "Then let's just get him someone he trusts."

"Who does he even trust?"

Kiumi put a hand on her chin, "There must be someone he trusts..."

Everyone sat thinking. Thats a good question, other than me, who else does Kokichi trust? I already know what's inside the lab... i don't even want to go in by myself.... it was quiet for a while before Ryoma spoke up.

"Y/N." 'Fuck.'

"Y/N?" Shuichi asked. His face lit up before turning to me, "He's right. Y/N you're the only one who's close to him! Other than Kirumi..."

"It appears that other than myself, Kokichi and Y/N have a deeper and stronger bond than anyone here." Kirumi grinned, we all backed up from our little huddle.

"Guys, I doubt he'll let me even step foot in his direction." I sighed. Maki rolled her eyes giving me a quick thumbs up before squeezing my hand, "You're our only hope. Suck it up and go get that information."

I fumbled a little before walking up to the small ultimate, 'like he couldn't hear us talking about him...'

"Hey"

"Ooooh! Y/N! Hello!" Kokichi grinned, lowering his arms from the broken doors. "What brings you here!"

"Well, I'd rather be sleeping, but I was hoping that..maybe... just maybe, I could go into your lab?" I asked him.

"Of course not!" He grinned, "Did you even shower today? You reak!"

"Come on, Kokichi..."

"You would probably steal something there! I'm a very busy man, i don't have time to watch you like a parent!"

"Then let Kirumi walk in with us?"

"Kirumi...?" He hummed, thinking for a while before flashing me one of his toothy smiles. "Sure~ I'll let kirumi come with us!"
