One final battle between
hope.. And despair.

My head throbbed, the pattern never changed, it came pounding at the side of my head.

"Hey! Y/N! Wake up... please don't tell me he planned on killing you too." A voice broke its way into my unconscious state. I felt arms being placed on my shoulders, moving under to support my back, placing me in someone's lap. "Wake up... i promise to take back all the jokes i made on you... Just wake up"

"A-All of them?"

I cracked open an eye to be met with teary light violet ones, Kaito whipped his eyes and looked at me with a smile, "I-I don't mean.... You little troll."

He moved me off his lap and my eyes wandered all around the bright room. I gave it a few minutes before it dawned on me where we were... 'Please don't tell me...'

"Hey Kaito, where are we...?"

"Hmm? Oh... Considering I haven't moved since the last few hours, we're still in the hanger..." He explained gripping onto his neck. "He brought you here soon after the nighttime announcement went off... ever since he hasn't been back since."

"Am i really that heavy of a sleeper?"

"He did mention knocking you out..." 'That makes a lot of sense...' I bit my thumb nail and sighed, Kaito placed a hand on my shoulder and whispered, "Don't worry, Himiko brought me a special item to help... I won't let him land a finger on you."

"An... item?"

"Don't worry about anything!"

I quickly asked, "Wait! Did Kokichi ever come back yet or--"

"Woooow Y/N!" A voice interrupted, our heads snapped around to spot Kokichi. "Are you that eager to see me?"

"Kokichi, why am i here?"

"I was wondering if you could help me! My beautiful plan, things were getting boring! Just help me, maybe just a little~" He inched closer, moving out of the shadows. He leaned forwards and gripped onto my hands holding them upwards.

"It's official, he's lost it..." Kaito looked at the two of us disgusted with horror in his eyes. "Y/N, don't be an idiot and listen to whatever she's planning..."

'He's one to talk...' Rolling my eyes, I looked back at the kokichi who started bouncing our hands.

Ignoring kaito, he gleamed "I have a video camera, a brilliant plan and two helpers! Im going to create a trial case that not even Monokuma can solve."

"You're crazy if you think we'll help you!"

      "What choice do you have?"

'This is crazy, i have to do something... but what?"

"If you don't~ Then i'll kill the both of you!" He giggled.

"You're outta your mind if you think i'm going to let you hurt us!"

"Then follow my plan!" Kokichi yelled.

I raised my hand, "U-Um... guys.."

"Shut up, Y/n--"

"Don't tell her to shut up!"

"Her voice was annoying--" Kokichi was shot. An arrow flew across my vision softly grasing my ear.

Kaitos face was red with anger, he quickly reloaded the arrow and aimed it at Kokichi again.

"Kaito!" I shouted and instantly lunged at the Astronaut, I grasped onto the crossbow trying to pull it out of his hands. We wrestled back and forth before one of our fingers pulled the trigger. "ngh..."

"Y-Y/N! Oh shit, oh shit... I'm so sorry, I didn't mean..." Kaito dropped the crossbow, he hovered his hands over my collarbone where it was impaled with the yellow arrow.

He moved his hands all over my shoulders trying to figure out a solution to somehow magically pull out the arrow. My entire upper body ached as I dropped to my knees clutching the area next to my fresh wound.

Before anyone could continue the conversation, the room shook. Wobbling I rose to my feet as an Excel showed up in front of us.

"Whats going on..." A familiar voice asked. Makis' head popped out of the Exisal with confusion.

"M-Maki roll?"

"... i said what's going on?" Makis eyes flared when she saw my collarbone. "Who did this to you?..."

"Y-You sure have a lot of questions Maki--"

"Shut it. I know you're either part of the Remnants of Despair or the Mastermind. You've lost. Give up. No more lies." Maki snarled at Kokichi.

'Wrong game, Maki..'

Kokichis face twisted with confusion, "W, What are... you talking about? A... and who are these 'Remnants of Despair'?" His eyes trailed down to my neck. "Sorry... I-I just can't understand w-hat you're talking about. And more importantly... Why is the killin-g game still on... I thought I ended it? Even... though you know... that it's useless to go outside... and that I'm the mastermind... why...?" He looked up at her with a smirk. "Do you... enjoy killing this much?"

Her eyes glowed red, " ...Shut up, bastard. I knew it would be useless talking to you. That's why I'll put you out of your mercy with a finishing blow."

She picked up her own crossbow, preparing to jump off the Exisal. 'Shit, this is all moving too fast?!'

Time didnt even slow down as Maki raised her crossbow aiming it at Kokichi. The both of us rushed forwards. Kaito to protect Kokichi and for me to protect Kaito.

'Run run run run...' I extended both of my arms and I shoved Kaito out of the way before another arrow dug into my shoulders.

"...You idiots!" Maki cried as my body flopped downwards. I crashed into the ground with immense pain. Both sides of my body ached, my arm felt as if it were on fire... 'T-That must be the The Lethal Torture Poison.... At least it isn't the Instant Death poison.'

Maki quickly ran away, mumbling a string of curse words under her breath. I felt someone move some hair out of my face, pulling my head onto a lap. I faded in and out of consciousness...

"It's all going to be okay, Y/N.." Kokichi whispered.

"Don't talk to her like that! You're the one who put us in this predicament!"

"Which is why i need your help, Kaito." He pressed a hand against my head, laughing silently. "It was useless to drag Y/N into this, she's useless all around..."

'Gee... thanks, Kokichi.'

"What do you need help with?" Kaito sighed after looking at the two of us and back at where Maki was originally standing. Her crossbow was abandoned. 'What did he say?!'

"Close the shutter." Kokichi ordered.

"Guys--" I struggled to get out. Kokichi forced a hand onto my mouth as Kaito hesitantly pulled on the leaver. 'This... this isn't good, this isn't good at all....'
