I finally got a good look at Lucy after the explosion. I totally regret it. (A/N WARNING. THIS NEXT THING MAY BE GRAPHIC SO SOME PEOPLE) Her leg was red and had blisters all over it. Some of the blisters popped and were oozing all over the place. She definitely had third degree burns.
"Erza, we need to get her home to Wendy. Even if that means riding a boat..." I mumbled the last part, hoping that we could have another way home.
"The boats aren't that good so the ride might be rougher than usual." Gray said with an annoying tone. I really want to bash his face in.
"C'mon men! I can't wait to get home so I can eat cake!" Erza said with stars in her eyes. "Oh, and also heal Lucy too." Erza said this after some time. Wow. What a good friend...

Time skip to on the boat

Lucy's POV

We're moving. How? I don't know. The pain is unbearable. I fade in and out of consciousness.
I see something in the distance. Mom? No that's not possible. She's dead.
"Lucy, can you hear me?" That voice. I would recognize it anywhere.
"Mom?" I yell into the darkness, hoping to get an answer. I get an answer.
"Lucy, take care of him. He needs you more than you think. He will sacrifice anything for you, so don't think of him as annoying. I love you Lucy." My mom starts to whisper towards the end of it. I know she's leaving.
"Mom wait! Don't leave me alone!"
"Your not alone my child. You have Natsu. Take care of him and yourself."
I yell again for her.

But no one came.
