"We are here today to remember the life of Lucy Heartfillia. A beloved friend, mage, and fairy tail member. She will be greatly missed by everyone in Fairy Tail." Master said in front of a table with Lucys pale body. Wendy walked up to the podium and started talking.
"I looked up to Lucy. I wanted to be like her when I grew up. She was like a big sister to me. The day that she died, If I was a better healer I might have been able to save her. So, I will become stronger for Lucy!" Wendy had tears running down her face as Levy walked up.
"Lucy was my best friend. I was really looking forward to reading her book. It feels like a part of me is missing now that she's gone. I know she's in a better place, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt." Levy walked off the podium with tears that would put a waterfall to shame. After a while, the funeral was almost over, and Natsu was the last one on the poduim.
"Lucy was more than just a team mate to me. She was strong, smart, brave, and she was the only girl I ever truely loved. I'm just glad, Th-That she wont ever get hurt again. I love you, Lucy." 
Natsu walked off the podium and back into his seat. The funeral ended and everyone went home. Natsu and happy however, went to Lucy's apartment.
"It's kinda wierd. I'm expecting Lucy to walk out of the bathroom and kick us out." Happy said. Natsu noticed a letter on her desk addressed to him.
"Whats this?" Natsu opened it up and started reading.

Dear Natsu,

I must have written this letter a thousand times, but I could never find the words. For the longest time, I've loved you with everything inside me. I can understand if you dont feel the same way. But if you do, go to the sola tree and fire three flares into the air. When I see the flares, we can finally be together. If you don't, then just forget I ever wrote this letter. I'll be waiting for the flares. I'll be waiting for you, Natsu.

The letter was stained in tears. Natsu immediatly walked out and head towards the Sola tree in the park. When he got there, he did exactly as the note said and fired 3 flares into the sky so bright you could see it on Tenrou Island.
"I hope you can see these from heaven, Lucy"
