Natsu POV
"MOMMY? So y-You're her mother?" I half yelled so confused. I kneeled down to comfort Lucy cause I could tell she was going through a very emotional time.
"Yes that is correct. I'm Lucy's deceased mother. I bet your wondering why I had brought you here." Lucy's mom had a look of concern on her face. I feel like this conversation won't be very pleasant. Lucy was speechless, but she soon found her voice.
"Mom, but, your dead! You can't be here!" Lucy half yelled. I can't tell if she's mad or happy
"I know. I died many years ago, but my soul stayed. So i got to watch you grow up and fight by this young mans side." Lucys mom explained. If I remember right her names Layla.
"But why show up now." Lucy asked. I was still processing what happend.
"Honestly I don't know myself. All I know is that you and this man care very deeply for eachother and I know you'll take care of eachother. And if your father were here, I'm sure he'd say the same." Tears were forming in Lucys eyes.
"So your giving us your blessing?" I asked holding Lucy in my arms.
"Yes Natsu. You have my blessing" she said with a voice smooth as silk.
"Thank you. This means more to me than you know. I promise I'll take good care of her." A blush was forming on my face.
"I know you will. I'm afraid I have to go now. I love you so much, my precious Lucy." Layla stroked Lucys cheek and pulled her into a tight hug.
"I love you too mom" Layla started to fade away along with the venue. Soon enough we were in Zerefs lair again. Zeref still laying on the ground.
"Are you okay Lucy?" I asked. She wipes away her tears and looked up at me.
Lucy POV
"Yea. Just fine. Hey Natsu?"
"Yea luce?"
"Will you stay with me tonight?" I asked half hoping he wouldn't hear. He took my hands hand looked deep into my eyes.
"Believe me Lucy. I'm not going to leave you. Ever." I buried my head in his chest hugging him.
"THERE YOU ARE!!" Erza yelled as she came running in.
"Oh Erza. Sorry. Kinda lost track of time." Natsu exclaimed.
"It's quite alright. Come on! The boats about to leave." Erza said and Natsu started complaining.
"B-Boat? Ya know what? I'll swim home." Natsu darted out only to be caught by Erza.
"You'll ride the boat and you'll enjoy it. Am I understood?" Erza said releasing a darl aura.
"Y-Yes ma'am!"
Time skip after the boat ride.
"AH LAND! SWEET SOLID LAND!" Natsu dances around along with the other dragon slayers.
"LU-CHAN!" Levy exclaimed as she came running toward me.
"LEVY!" We greeted each other with a bone crushing hug.
"So glad you remeber me!"
"Yea me too!"
"Come on! We've got some partying to do!" The rest of the night was filled with music, laughing and people drinking 'till they pass out. All in all, the old fairy tail is back. When the party finally died down, me and Natsu went back to my apartment.
"Wow. It hasn't changed a bit." I said.
"Yea. I've been paying for it. I built my house so I had some extra money. Plus, I couldn't bare watching this place belong to someone else." Natsu said stuffing his hands in his pocket.
"That's really sweet of you. We better get to bed. You take the bed. It's the least I could do after all you've done for me." I started to pull the cushions off the couch when I felt a pair of hands pick me up.
"No no no. You're not sleeping on the couch. You're on the bed with me." Before I knew what happend, me and Natsu were on the bed facing each other.
"Lucy?"
"Yea?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Natsu asked. I blushed so much It would put Erza's hair to shame.
"Of course you big dense idiot." Natsu giggled and kissed my forehead.
"Now I'm your big dense idiot." Natsu whispered.
"Yea you are." The last thing I remember was falling asleep in Natsu's arms, and I've never felt more secure in my life. My life was complete. In the middle of the battle, the final piece of my memory came back, I had partied the life out of me, and I had the best boyfriend in the world. I was in an eternal Fairy Tale. And Natsu is my happily ever after.
