I don't think my fanfic is going well. xD but I guess the experience is good.

Chapter 20

-------------------

Several casualties were taken upon the harsh weathers both Kyogre and Groudon caused. Many homes in Sootopolis, Lilycove, and Mossdeep have been demolished by the heavy storms and tsunami-like waves. Earthquakes also shatter the earth, creating craters scattered on the sea floor.

Remote areas like Littleroot Town cannot feel such tremors, but with the mass media recording, it didn't take long for everyone to take action.

"Live on Pokémon NEWS." Television flickered as the majority of people began to tune in. "Sootopolis City is experiencing fluctuating weather patterns; our meteorologists are currently investigating this predicament. It would appear two legendary Pokémon has awoken from a slumber, caused by two teams, Team Aqua and Team Magma. May-Rin is at Sootopolis now bringing live updates. What have you got for us, May?"

The camera shifted onto another person, soaking wet from the heavy rain, but also sweating from the heat of the sun.

"Thank you, Leira. This is incredible! Two legendary Pokémon, who were believed to be legends, appeared out of nowhere. I asked several of the residents here how they came to be, but no one knows. They just say that they appeared out of nowhere. Also, rumors have it that former Pokémon Champion, Steven Stone, is involved with this as well as an upheaving trainer, Kira." May-Rin adjusted her glasses, her red hair flying about. "Speaking of which, there they are!" The camera again shifted to where Steven and Kira landed.

Both trainers looked in shock at what is happening.

"Oh, and it seems the leaders of the two evil organizations have made their appearances as well. This is very interesting. I will keep you all updated on more of these, back to you Leira." The camera was lowered and May-Rin cautiously watched the trainers, observing their every move.

"Steven, I'm scared for these people." Kira announced. The blue haired man looked at her and gave her a soft look.

"I know. I am, too."

Rain, sunshine, then rain again. It was an endless cycle.

In the middle of the pool of water, bith Kyogre and Groudon were fighting. Each time they are hit, the weather fluctuates.

"I have someone you should meet, Kira." Steven suddenly said. Kira looked at him with a confused look.

"What? Who?" Though it is a dark time for Hoenn, her excitement to meet a new person doesn't waver in the slightest.

"You'll see," he smiled. "Follow me."

They climbed up and down sets of stairs, until they were at a little opening of a cave behind the gym. Steven stopped and turned to Kira.

"In here, you will find whom I have told you about. Only worthy people are allowed. Kira, you are one of them." Fear surged through the girl, causing her to tremble drastically. She gulped, and marched right in without looking back.

Meanwhile, the group of Dex holders were arguing amongst themselves.

"I told you we should have followed her! We could have been on national television!" Gold ranted, but Silver and Misty hit him hard on the head.

"No, if we did that, then she and Steven would find out about us. You know they're both the strongest trainers in the world right now." Brock added in. It was the first time he added words to the group in a long time.

"Brock is right," Misty agreed, "if we don't come up with a plan to expose her, we won't ever find rest."

Ash and May looked at each other, feeling bad for the group.

"I don't see anything wrong with Kira," Ash began. "I mean, I don't know why you guys are making a big deal out of something that is in the past. It has been months since it happened." Everyone ignored him except for May and Brendan.

"You have no right to say that." Brendan spoke softly. "You don't know her history like the rest of us."

"Well, she didn't seem to like being on their side, so I don-"

"YOU JUST DON'T KNOW!" Everyone stopped to see what was going on. Brendan was on the verge of tears while Ash looked surprised and scared.

"Years ago, my best friend was murdered.. because he meddled with the affairs of Team Aqua. Their best soldier, a woman, was the one who shed the blood. I caught her off guard one day, and I saw her face. It was Kira's face. I don't know if she recognized me, but I recognize her. I will never forgive her for that day.." Brendan turned away and ran, ran like he was being chased by something.

"I didn't... know..." Ash mumbled quietly. May looked down, feeling a bit guilty.

"No matter what..." She quietly started.

"What was that?" Everyone asked.

"No matter what, we have to make sure Kira is safe. We might have been jerks to her, but has she ever became a jerk to you? Clearly, you guys can tell if she had lost her memories or not, but you can't go around holding a grudge on people forever! If you guys aren't going to do anything about it, I will. She said she wants to go back to her time, so I'm going to help give her one more miracle. By myself, if I have to!" Tears spilled from her eyes as she called out her Latias.

"Let's go to Sootopolis City." She climbed on and off they went, abandoning the rest of the group. Everyone looked surprised and guilt filled their faces.

"May's right." Gold stated. "I'm going after Kira. Besides, I haven't had the chance to ask her how old she was." Everyone sweatdropped but didn't say anything. He left too, on his Togekiss.

It was quiet among the group, but half of them went to comfort Brendan while the other half went to Sootopolis.

Back in the cave, Kira stumbled to get across to the stranger she was supposed to meet. Eventually, she found him, after several trips and dead ends.

"Hello.." Kira shyly greeted. The man turned around and she was met with a tall man with deep blue hair in a weird style. His clothes match Sootopolis, white and blue.

"Ah, hello, there." His voice sounded lighter than Steven's and his tone was a bit cheerier than his.

"Yes, Um, I'm here because of the fight between Kyogre and Groudon."

"So, you have something to do with those two?" he didn't sound or look angry, but he was concerned.

"Yes, actually. I got in the way of both Team Magma and Team Aqua, who were trying to awaken these two, in which they successfully did so."

"Indeed, they have. Tell me, do you know where I can find the legendary Rayquaza?"

It was a sudden question, however, no matter how hard she tried to remember, she couldn't place her finger on it.

Suddenly, her phone began to buzz.

"Hold on just a second, pease." The man nodded. Kira checked her phone that she forgot she had.

'Rayquaza. Sky Pillar. Don't ask.'

It was a weird text, abd the return number wasn't familiar either. However, this was her only lead. She can't pass this opportunity.

"Sky Pillar." She burst out the answer.

The weird man began to space out. After a few seconds he chuckled loudly.

"Ah, yes! Sky Pillar! Why have I not thought of it before!" He was about to leave until he remembered something.

"Oh, I completely forgot. My name is Wallace, I used to be the gym leader of Sootopolis City, but something came up. Now, since you are here, why don't you tell me your name?"

"I'm Kira.. I'm sorry for intruding like this." Wallace shook his head.

"Don't worry about it, now, come. We are going to see Rayquaza." He then bolted out of the cave while dragging Kira.

When they got out, they surfed their way towards Pacifidlog. They made a detour, however, to get to Sky Pillar.

When they got there, Wallace made a beeline up in the cave.

"One energetic man." She mumbled to herself.

She walked right up the entrance and made the quick walk to get through.

When she reached the outside of the cave, Wallace was waiting for her. He turned once her presence was known.

"Kira, I'm sorry, but... I got a call that Sootopolis is getting worse. As a former gym leader, I must go and help them as much as I can.. I know you can face whatever is up at the top. I believe in you." He placed a gentle kiss on her cheek and began to leave.

"You were just like this back then..." Kira did not seem to hear his words. She inspected the tower for a few seconds before giving herself courage to get through.

The tower wasn't a big problem to climb. However, there were a few debris from past disasters, but it wasn't much to be considered a hazard.

When she reached the top, her eyes were met with a large green dragon. It, too, was asleep like the other two legendaries before they were awoken.

"Rayquaza..." She spilled out. It was at normal volume, but it did not hear her.

"RAYQUAZA!" This time, the dragon awoke.

"Help us, please. Kyogre and Groudon are fighting against each other. If this keeps going, all of Hoenn, no, the world will be in ruins..."

"Hush now" An unfamiliar voice rang in her head. She looked up at the legendary. "The power to calm those two aren't by my powers, but a surging power of the one who awoke me. Pure of heart and mind."

Kira looked confused for a second.

"You, Kira. You are pure of heart. I can sense that people are confused about you. And you are confused about yourself."

"Yes, I had lost my memories, and I can't seem to remember anything, except that I was in a world where Pokémon does not exist."

"Yes, it may seem so. However, what you remember may not be the truth to you."

"What?" She did not get a response. Instead, she was hoisted up to sit on Rayquaza's back.

"Hold on."

"Wait, how are you speaking to me. You're not Psychic, right?" The dragon chuckled.

"We not need to be psychic if there are Pokémon whisperers out in the world."

"Whoa..." Kira held on tight, a lot on her mind.

"When we get there, you will regain all your memories back. I promise you."

Kira heard, and when they reached Sootopolis, she instantly fell asleep, completely missing the most important history of Hoenn ever.
