What lies beyond that sunset?

It's so far out of reach, I'm unable to grasp it

I cannot pull back the curtain

to reveal the mystery hidden.

Would the sun in all its golden glory

be slowly drifting off to sleep?

Or would it be about to begin its night shift

on the other side of the world?

I long to see, to someday find

what lies beyond that sunset.
