• Watermelon •

By the beach salt Water laps my toes,

Racing sea gulls Against the winds.

I'd stop to take liTtle fruit breaks:

Fresh-cut watermElon awakens buds,

A sensation oh so Refreshing sweet.

To nibble is charMing, summer taste -

If poppy-red juicEs stained my face,

Use the towel or cLoth to wipe it off.

My beach trip is nOt entire if I lack

A dear watermeloN slice as company!
