Over seas of continuous dancing azure waves

Vivid skies with clouds seem to sing peace.

Equipped men sail with a sole purpose.

Rhythm of the ocean pounding in their ears,

Frozen in suspense as they let down nets;

Injuring innocent creatures so helpless.

Songs of the whales turn to alarm, then cease

Home becomes a place of insecurity

Inflamed with pain from crushing trawls.

Novels are written about fisherman heroes, why?

Greedily destroying more and more lives.
