There's light all through the tunnel

Where young lovers used to dance

And families would hold their picnic

Where the vines began romance.

The daily train would once zoom by

But now it's utterly enchanting;

How could persons sitting here cry,

When rather they'd be waltzing!

There's light all through the tunnel

Not a shadow to be seen;

The gentle song of the leaves lull

As she turns sweet sixteen.
