He says, "come, rest."

What does it mean?

It means we are blessed

And our hearts are clean.

But how could this be?

Why would the only perfect Man

Choose to be nailed on a tree

Just because He can?

Because of His tremendous love

For you, for me, for everyone

He did the will of the Father above

Now He says, "It is done."

We no longer need to work

For our priceless salvation

For He sacrificed himself...

Now let's bring him adoration.

All God needs now is our heart

Not our hands any longer;

For He already did his part

So we can live with him over yonder.
