Like angels slowly descend

On a chilly breeze

Howling breezes calm

Fields of fresh swaying tulips

Push through winter snow

One stroke of a brush;

Universes brought to life

From my humble hands.

Clouds race overhead

Revealing sunshine divine

The storm has ceased

Buzzing, beeping, flash

Places to spend all your cash

Pavement rain and splash.

Flimsy jewels shine

On a necklace hang enshrined

Intricate design

Palace walls shiver

Mystery locked in sliver

Her delicate hands quiver

Abstract stripes on lawns

Painted by early sunrise

A blinding glory

Restless water flows

Pacing through the young river

Wringing worried hands.

dark clouds relay race

the world becomes dark as night

but the birds sing still

glitter falls from skies

dances and twirls and swirls so

winter dawns again

crystal clear teardrop

lies to rest upon rich leaf

midnight shower ceased

a thousand hourglasses run

a race to be won
