Mini-Meeting: The Herald of Galactus
I'm sorry for this chapter right now if it's not as good. I'm having a bad day. I'll reread this chapter later and fix it, but I really wanted to write something. It shouldn't be too bad :)

"Yes, actually. Now that you mention it, I made some blueprints of some upgrades for your arrows. Why don't you go get some of your old electric arrows?" Tony unscrews the jaw of his Iron Man helmet as he speaks.
"Alright, I'll be right back." Clint hops out of the room and slides down the staircase railing. He passes a few Avengers along the way, but they pay no mind to him.
Clint unhinges the door of the storage room and slides the entrance open. He finds his pile of stuff straight ahead and walks up to the shelf. "Electric arrows, electric... I haven't used these since the Age of Ultron days."
The archer picks a few of his arrows out, but then decides to just take the whole quiver. He slings the pack over his shoulder and turns around. Before he can walk out, something on the ground catches his eye. Around the corner on the floor, a pale hand lays there, limp in its place.
Hawkeye takes a second to get out of his shock before quickly rushing over to the hand. When he rounds the corner, he finds Lauren unconscious on the ground.
Pressing two of his fingers against the spot on her neck, he thankfully finds a pulse. Clint picks up the woman bridal style and hurries out of the room. "Tony, get Bruce and head to the infirmary! I think Lauren was attacked."
"Clint, are you sure she isn't just sleeping?" Tony lazily asks from the other side of the intercoms.
"I think I can tell the difference." Clint looks more closely at Lauren's face and notices that her expression is filled with pain. "She doesn't look so good. She's really pale and her skin is clammy."
"So, a fever?"
"TONY, JUST CALL BRUCE!" Clint snaps, gaining the attention of some Avengers nearby.
"Alright, Legolas! Calm down. I'm calling the big guy, so just get her to the infirmary." Tony disconnects the coms in order to call Bruce.
Hearing the commotion, Sam turns the corner and finds Clint running with Lauren in his arms. He hurries off toward the archer and gets right behind him. "Did she train too hard?"
"I think she was attacked." Clint's quick breaths break up his words, but Sam manages to decipher it well.
"She was attacked? So, you think that someone managed to get past twenty Avengers in the same building just to attack one of us?" Sam and Clint get to the infirmary and Clint bursts through the doors.
"I didn't get time to think of a rational reason for it. Look, she was unconscious in the storage room. The items on the shelf next to her were smashed and knocked over. That's just where my mind went to!" Clint lays the blonde girl on a bed and checks her pulse once again. Strangely, her pulse has sped up dangerously high.
"You're right about her not looking so good." Sam comments.
The door opens to reveal Tony and Bruce. The latter types something on a wrist band and sighs. "I'm not the best health doctor in the world, so I don't know how much I'll be able to do. I can run a scan and try to figure out what's wrong that way."
"Alright everyone, back away. The professionals are in the house." Tony shoos Clint and Sam back, but they don't leave the room. Instead, they sit in chairs against the wall.
Tony hooks Lauren up to the heart monitor and scanner while Bruce sets up the electronics. Bruce types in a few more things before hitting the scan button. "Starting the scanning process. I'm going to fix the algorithms to fit her exposure to bending energy through different dimensions. That'll give us the most accurate readings."
"Should I contact Strange?" Clint asks.
Tony internally rolls his eyes at the mention of the wizard and quickly responds, "Better not, Barton. He'd flip over the entire Pacific Ocean if he knew Lauren got hurt in the safest building on Earth currently."
"There's nothing coming up on the scans." Bruce reads the computer screen for any anomalies, but finds nothing out of the ordinary. Tony gives Clint a look that says 'I told you so', but Bruce continues, "Hold on, I'll scan her head too-"
BEEEEEEEEEEEP!
"And there's our problem." Bruce points at something on the screen and the scan light turns from green to red. The light tops at the top of Lauren's forehead.
"What do the readings say, doc?" Tony uncrosses his arms and walks over to Bruce's side of the computer. Once he looks at the screen, Tony freezes and his breath hitches. "Damn. Clint, get Wanda."
Clint and Sam try to contact Wanda through the intercoms first, but she doesn't respond. So, they split up and try to find her manually. Sam goes down to the training room while Clint knocks on the door of Wanda's and Vision's room.
"Yes? Oh, hello, Clint. You look distressed. What's wrong?" Vision answers his door for Clint, but there's no sign of Wanda.
"We need Wanda in the infirmary fast. Do you know where she is?" Clint asks and Vision closes the door behind him, understanding the seriousness of the situation.
"The training room." Vision starts phasing through the walls, but Clint's voice stops him.
"Sam's checking there. Let's head back to the infirmary." Clint puts his fingers up to the communicator in his ear. "Sam, she's in the training room according to Vision."
"Already got her." Sam responds. Him and Wanda make it back to the infirmary just after Clint and Vision do.
"What's wrong?" Wanda asks with urgency in her voice. She notices Lauren on the medical bed, now more pale than when Clint found her.
"We need you to look into her mind and find out what's wrong. Her brain is shutting down quickly, so we have five minutes at best to figure something out." Tony taps some more things on the computer screen, trying to read what Lauren's mind is telling him.
"I'll try." Wanda walks over to Lauren's side and looks at her pain filled expression. She lifts her hands and presses her fingers against her temples.
Wanda closes her eyes as red wisps fly from her fingers and into Lauren's mind. Suddenly, the Scarlet Witch is taken into Lauren's thoughts. She concludes that Lauren must have been meditating and had a vision or something. Many scenes flow through Wanda's mind, but only one sticks out to her the most. A man covered in silver flies on a surfboard up to her.
"You're new." The silver man approaches Wanda, but she doesn't feel threatened at all. Instead, she toys with the thought that she's heard the voice before.
"You can see me?" Wanda asks with a hint of disbelief.
"I can." The silver man's expression turns sad and he looks down. "I'm sorry. I think my appearance is the reason your friend is dying. Her brain is overloading with too much information at once and she can't control it."
"What should I do?" Wanda asks with fear of losing one of her friends. "She can't die like this."
"Try to lower the intensity of the chaos that has taken over her mind. Make it simpler." The silver man turns around, but is stopped once again by Wanda.
"Wait, what should we call you?"
The silver man pauses before turning around to face her once more. "I have no name, for I have no individuality. I am bound by the oath to my master."
Suddenly, it clicks together in Wanda's mind. "You mean, you're the one who..."
"Yes, I sent you the message. I am the Herald of Galactus."
