"(Y/N), I know this sounds sudden, but I think you're in danger." Kaoru says with a serious face and gripped your shoulders, "I don't know what my brother's thinking anymore, he might--"

You giggled despite the look of urgency in his eyes. You waved your hand and said, "You're a worrywart, Kaoru. Hikaru's my boyfriend, he'll never do anything that'll endanger me."

"That's the thing! You're very dense and you won't even notice what's going on around until it's too late!" 

"What're you guys talking about? What's too late?" Hikaru's voice echoed down the hall, making Kaoru shiver. You, however, beamed at him while Kaoru was ghastly pale.

"Sorry I can't walk you home today, (Y/N). Can you come to my house at around six for our scheduled study session?" Hikaru asked gently with his signature host smile that he only showed to you nowadays. You nodded in excitement and skipped downstairs.

"Listen up," he spoke as if a different person, "I'm not going to give up (Y/N) to anyone, you hear? Not even you, Kaoru."

Kaoru clenched his fist. He had tried to turn a blind eye on his twin's possessiveness, but it was now going too far. Hikaru almost killed a person the other day because they asked to borrow a pencil during class.

"No, you need to listen!" Kaoru finally says, "You're losing your mind, Hikaru! (Y/N) wouldn't like the things you're doing."

"Who says she ever needs to know?" Hikaru questioned, a grin crept on his attractive face and his hand reached for an object in his bag.

"You monster!" Kaoru yelled.

But he was cut off.

"...That's quite enough from you, Kaoru. Sweet dreams."

You rang the doorbell to his mansion. Again, and again, and again, and again. Finally, one of the house maids opened the front door and showed you upstairs.

"Be there in a bit!" Hikaru answered when you knocked on the door of his room. You waited patiently outside. It sounded like he was dragging some heavy box inside and stuffing it somewhere. 

You giggled slightly. He was probably cleaning up his room so it'd look presentable to you. How adorable is that boy?

The instant he pulled the door open, flower petals bloomed and danced behind his dazzling smile as he greeted, "Good evening."

You blushed a little as you returned his greeting and stepped inside. You scanned the room and soon realized someone was missing. You asked, "Where's Kaoru?"

Kaoru was usually somewhere in the room since the twins were practically inseparable.

"He won't be back for a while, don't worry about him," Hikaru says while slipping his arms around your waist and pulling you into his chest, "Hey, (Y/N), you trust me, right?"

"Hm? Of course." You responded right away, making him happy.

"You know I'll never make you sad, right?" He asked again.

You shifted around in his grasp to face him, "Of course I know that. I love you, Hikaru-kun. I always feel happy and secure around you."

Satisfied, his grip around you tightened ever so slightly you felt like melting in his touch. 

"I'll never harm you in any way." He confirmed, then added in an inaudible whisper, "can't say the same for everyone else, though."

After a little while, Hikaru suggested to study in the living room, instead. You thought it was strange, but nonetheless agreed. 

"Trust me, it's better if we go there." He had said, so you didn't question further.

As he showed you out of his room, he glanced back at his closet, then grinned a sinister grin you would never see. He followed you outside.

Blood dripped out of the closet.
