Lelouch x Reader ~{Body and Soul}~ (2/2)
Title: Body and Soul
Anime: Code Geass
Character: Lelouch vi Britannia
Part two to ~[Partners in Crime}~
Once again, the plot is slightly different from the original, so don't freak out when I get stuff "wrong".
------------------
"She won't remember anything." The doctor concluded, making Kallen's eyes go wide.
The Black Knights brought you back to a medic as soon as possible, and their modern technology slowly nursed you back to health. You've been unconscious for a month. Lelouch and Suzaku have been missing for a month.
Until yesterday.
Lelouch came out of nowhere and announced that he is now the new Emperor of Britannia and Suzaku was his knight. The Black Knights planned to use you against Lelouch, but Kallen couldn't bring herself to execute that plan when she learned that you lost all of your memories.
"Basically, she is the state and personality she was before she met Lelouch." The doctor further explained, "and she won't remember about her geass. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but speak to her, as if you're an old friend."
Consciousness drifted back to you, but as a first instinct, you chose not to open your eyes.
"I am an old friend," Kallen mumbles. She was close friends with you, yet she was part of the reason why you "died".
The doctor bowed and took her leave. Kallen sat beside your bedridden form and sighed, "I'm so sorry, (Y/N)...."
When she lifted her head, she was startled at your half-lidded (E/C) eyes staring at her with no emotion whatsoever behind them. She was overjoyed, but you spoke before she could, "What happened to me?"
She would've expected something along the lines of 'who are you?', but no.
As the Black Knights have discussed, she lied and told you that tyranny Emperor Lelouch's knight did these damages to you. Your facial expression didn't even twitch as she fed you the whole story.
"I see." You answered dismissively once she finished, then sat up, ignoring the lingering pain from bruises on your stomach.
"So... the current Emperor, Lelouch vi Britannia, is a tyrant, and we're going to take him down." Kallen says once more and studied your expression carefully while the two of you traveled down the hallway. You showed no reaction to Lelouch's name, not even as much as a blink.
She really doesn't remember anything. Kallen concluded in relief. But your completely silent and different persona kinda worried her.
Tamaki hollered as you entered the room, "Whaaaaaat?!! How-- how could you let her--"
Kallen threw a shoe at him so he wouldn't spill the beans. "(Y/N) doesn't remember anything, not even that Suzaku shot her down."
Ohgi caught her hint and nodded. The rest of the crew proceeded to introduce themselves all over again, and you greeted each of them with a blank and icy stare. You were completely different than the (Y/N) who was always beside Zero while he was the leader of the Black Knights.
You never said more than five words at a time.
"So, (L/N), you don't remember us?" Ohgi asked.
"Your face is unfamiliar." You responded while eating crepe.
You never displayed any changes in your facial expression except for blinking.
"The current Emperor, Lelouch, is an evil man who killed his father to get the throne." Ohgi said once more with a serious look on his face.
You stared right back at him, "Why should I care?"
After a while of testing and questioning, they were convinced you knew nothing, and you didn't seem to care. You didn't react to any names. You didn't react when they told you who died, not even Charles, your sworn enemy.
You didn't believe a single word they said. You didn't remember anything, how could you just trust the first people who appear before you? For all you knew, they could actually be your enemies feeding you false information.
Ohgi sent one of the members to go show you around so you would be distracted. You obliged with no complaints. After you were gone, Kallen explained to the group about your behavior.
"That means, this is how (Y/N) was before she met Lelouch." Rakshata said in realization. You were distant and silent, completely the opposite of how everyone remembered you were.
"Yeah, but now we can't use her against--" Tamaki began, but was interrupted.
"No, it's even better this way." Ohgi says, "She doesn't remember how to use her geass, and we don't need to worry about tying her down. She won't try to escape if she doesn't know she is Lelouch's ally."
"...Isn't it kind of cruel to use her when she doesn't remember anything?" Kallen spoke up quietly. The room was silent for a little while before someone spoke up, "Lelouch is much crueler."
Everyone else murmured in agreement. Much to Kallen's hesitation, the plan was set in motion.
Not too long after, there was an opportunity. Lelouch had requested to join the U.F.N. Everyone found his actions fishy, so they brought you there and hid you among the crowd in the hosting atrium.
Even upon seeing Lelouch, you showed no reaction at all, as if really just seeing another stranger.
As the Lancelot crashed into the building, your eyes widened a fraction. Not from surprise that a white knightmare crashed inside, but you were surprised that you didn't feel shocked at this unexpected turn of events. Or was something like this not unexpected for you, at all?
The Black Knight members planted around you were too busy shocked by the situation to notice your reaction. You stared at the Lancelot. It seemed awfully familiar as if you've fought it before.
Before Lelouch could waltz out of the building with his confident smirk, Villetta brought his attention to you. Since the situation called for desperate measures, she pointed a gun at your temple and threatened to shoot if he didn't stop.
You didn't panic and witnessed as Lelouch's eyes flew as wide as saucers. His expression bloomed to a mixture of utter relief and shock. But his eyes also gave away his fear at the gun pointed at your temple.
You've always been good at reading people, and that was all you needed to determine that this man was definitely not your enemy. Instead, Villetta, the person who claimed to be your gym teacher before you lost your memories, is threatening your life.
You may not recall anything, but you knew friends probably wouldn't use each other as hostages.
As if your body knew what to do, you stomped on her foot, making her bend down slightly in surprise. You then pulled her leg up, making her fall backward, and before she hit the ground, you swiped the gun out of her hand. Wasting no time, you hopped onto the balcony railing and jumped.
As you thought, they weren't your enemies. Lancelot caught you square in its hand, and Lelouch was in the other. He didn't take his eyes off of you for a single second on your way back to wherever the hell it is.
He stared like there was no tomorrow and it made you look at him weirdly.
"I've lost all my memories." You stated before Suzaku or Lelouch could open their mouth to question.
Then it's no wonder she's not trying to kill me right now. Suzaku thought.
"She's... alive." Lelouch said slowly as he watched your retrieving figure, something he hasn't seen before. You were always right beside him or watched him leave.
You wondered down the halls in an attempt to show yourself around and C.C. followed so you wouldn't get lost.
"So what?" Suzaku answered with a frown, "It doesn't make any difference. You constructed the Zero Requiem plan with (Y/N), right? You better not break your word, Lelouch."
"...Of course not."
~~
You were this close to driving him insane.
Few days have passed and you showed no signs of having any other memories return to you. Also, you were extremely distant despite admitting that you knew Lelouch wasn't your enemy.
You were acting how you were when you first met him, and he sure as hell can't reenact the incident from Shinjuku to get you to trust him again. It hurt his head a lot more than thinking up his next strategies to conquer the world.
One day, while watching C.C. eat her pizza, a light bulb appeared on his head. You were never really friends with her because of how similar your personalities were, and that shouldn't change just because you don't remember her.
The next morning, you roamed down the hall with no particular interest in mind.
"Jeez, you need to take better care of yourself."
You heard a voice further down the halls and peeked around the corner to find Lelouch carrying C.C. because she bruised her ankle.
"It doesn't matter, it'll heal in a bit." She protested as he lifted her into her room.
An unknown twinge churned in your chest and your eyebrows lowered in distaste. You didn't like seeing them together. Why was that?
Incident after incident, you regained a piece of your memory every time you felt that tinge of jealousy in your stomach.
Eventually, you remember sharing a kiss with Lelouch after his first debut as Zero; you remember jumping off of every railing because you trusted him just that much to always catch you in his knightmare; you remember executing his risky and seemingly impossible plans; you remember constructing the Zero Requiem plan with him; you remember the betrayal of the Black Knights.
Finally, you remembered how you lost your memories to begin with.
A wicked smile twisted its way onto your face once everything came back to you. There was no way you were letting Lelouch off the hook easy for making you jealous so many times, although they were effective.
You knew where to find him and went down the halls. Suzaku came walking from the other end. A nasty frown appeared on his features when he saw you. He held an equal, if not greater, amount of hatred toward you than Lelouch. After all, you were the one to shoot Euphemia when she spiraled out of control because Lelouch didn't know his geass activated.
As you walked on by, you poked his glabella, surprising him.
"What're you doing?" He asked and turned around.
Without stopping, you turned your head and didn't try to suppress your grin, "Frown lines are ugly, Suzzie~!"
Right that instant, he knew you were back. Before he could yell at you, you sprinted off and headed to Lelouch's main control area.
You slammed open the door. Lelouch stood up in response, but you knocked him over. Being as unathletic as he is, he fell flat on the ground easily under your push.
Your mischievous grin was all there was needed to be said.
He mimicked your expression, "Welcome home, (Y/N)."
You lowered yourself and met his lips halfway. You couldn't understand yourself for ever forgetting about him.
"I'm loyal to you and only you, body and soul." You said and beamed at him; the smile he wanted to see for so long has resurrected.

Did I literally just make another reference to Code Geas S3? Yes. Very shamelessly so.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT *^*
