Sky's POV

"Are you all ready?" Seto asks, grabbing the artifacts and giving them to their respective owner. I nod and look at Ty in worry. I wasn't so sure about this....ceremony? I don't even know what to call it! But if it means getting home, I'll do it. Ty nods and looks at me, squeezing my hand in reassurance. I smile at him. He smiles back. All worry and uncertainty seems to leave my body and I sigh quietly in relief.

"Ok. Shadow? you ready?" Shadow looks up from her laptop and gives Seto a thumbs up, smiling. Seto smiles back and looks at us.

"Ok guys. Once you're teleported, you'll feel a slight pinch where your artifact should be. So, Sky and Mitch you'll feel a pain in your chest, Tyler, Ty and Jason in your head, and Jerome in your right hand, k? For the duration of the teleportation you'll feel like you're falling through a pit of either darkness or colour. It depends on who you are really. You may see differences in your appearance after the teleportation is complete, but it'll be nothing too drastic. Jason you're outfit could be affected, but it'll be nothing too different. Jerome....you'll look completely different. Sorry," Jerome looks at Mitch in worry, but Mitch just nods and smiles back.

"It's ok, Seto. LEZ DO DIS ALREADY!" Jerome says, swinging Betty round in a circle. Everyone laughs a little and looks back to Seto hopefully.

"Ok, ok, jeez. Stand in a circle," We do as he says and stand in a circle facing outward.

"Equip your artifact," I look down at the amulet in my hand and unlatch the white chain, latching it around my neck and positioning it on my chest. I watch as Ty puts on his headphones, Jason his helmet, Tyler his glasses and Mitch his dog tags. Jerome looks around in confusion and holds up Betty in a 'Ready to attack' stance.

"Close your eyes and think of a forest clearing," I close my eyes and see a clearing. I see us all in it. But something's wrong. No, someone's missing! Three people to be accurate. Let's see...I'm here, Mitch is here and so is Jason... But...we all look so unhappy... I'm down on my knees in the center of the clearing crying and clutching Ty's headphones, Mitch is punching and kicking a tree in the hard right while crying his eyes out and yelling bloody murder and Jason is hugging his knees in the left corner with Tyler's glasses in his hair... He looks different too. Instead of his usual space suit, he has a blue and orange hoodie on and light blue trousers with dark blue shoes that looks like his space suit. His hair is sandy blonde and he's got sky blue eyes...wait, now Ty, Jerome and Tyler are appearing next to their partner...oh my god Ty...h-he's got so many injuries...h-his arm is gone...he's got cuts and bruises everywhere...a long gash in his back...claw marks on his chest...oh Ty... Jerome looks WAY different. Instead of looking like a bacca, he's got a bacca beanie on, silver claws and sharp teeth. He's wearing his usual suit and tie, but this time he has black shoes on too...but he's also got severe injuries... There's six arrows in his back and a large gash on his left arm... Tyler looks the  same, but he's got injuries too. Burned arms and legs, cuts and scratch marks on his face and legs...his clothes are ripped and torn...what is this?!

"The teleportation is beginning now," I feel a wave of nausea hit me and I feel like I'm falling. My eyes snap open and I can see that I'm falling through a pit of various shades of yellow and butter. I would've screamed, but I didn't. I felt like I couldn't breathe. And there was a pain in my chest. What is this? Ok, don't panic. Seto sad this is normal. I hear the sound of the ocean beneath me, and I look down. I'm falling....into...water. I brace myself for impact, but I feel nothing when I hit the waves. What just happened?
I decide to open my eyes again, and this time I'm lying on my back in a forest clearing. What's that heavy thing on my chest? Why does the world look so dark? Wait...TY! I jump up and look around. I'm alone...oh no...please no...

"TY!! GUYS!!" I call out in dear. A sudden flash of light turns my vision to various colours and I shield my eyes with my arms. The blinding light fades and I open my eyes. I sigh in relief when I see everyone's OK. Ty's surrounded by thin, neon green fog, Jason blue fog, Tyler light blue, Jerome brown fog and Mitch red fog. Jerome and Jason look like they did in the image I saw, but minus the injuries and tears. Everyone's OK.

"Phew," I sigh in relief and collapse to the ground. I notice that my feet have trails of yellow fog around them.

"Guys..?"

"Did everyone make it?"

"Aw the baguette I had in my pocket didn't make it,"

"It's OK, Tyler, we can make another one later,"

"You had a baguette in your pocket?"

"Where's Sky?" Yep. They're awake.

"Here," I say quietly, raising my hand and staring at the ground, still a little flustered. I feel a pair of arms wrap around me and I instantly know it's Ty.

"You saw it too?" I hear Jason ask. I presume he meant the image.

"Yeah...what the fuck was that!?" That was Jerome.

"I don't know, but Shadow controls what happens to us here and she wouldn't do that to us...right?"

Of course I wouldn't! Just ignore that image. I think it was a glitch in the system because that's what's supposed to happen to the characters in another book I'm working on. You guys'll be fine.

What. Was. That?

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Tyler yells. He heard that too then.

Oops. Did Seto not tell you guys? I can communicate to you through the book! Though it's limited, so I can only talk to you in small paragraphs. Perfect for me to explain things to you.

"You sound so weird!" Mitch says in surprise.

Wow. Thanks Mitch. My self-esteem. This is my voice from waaay back. Before I got shot and lost my voice. I managed to implement it into the book.

"Cool," I hear Ty say, but his voice was a bit muffled since his face is buried in my chest right now.

Thank you Ty. Anyway, I'm going to have to teleport you to your homes. Unless you want to live together like in the old book?

We all look at each other and use friendship telepathy to agree on separate homes.

"Three homes please. One for Skylox, Merome and Munchinguniverse," Jerome says.

OK, but see those walkie talkies there? On the grass next to Jason.

We all turn our attention to the three walkie talkies on the grass beside Jason and walk over to them. I pick up a green and yellow one and show it to Ty. He smiles.

"Our colours," I hear Jason breathe. He's holding a turquoise blue and deep blue talkie, showing it to Tyler. Mitch and Jerome have a brown and red one.

They're designed that way. Green and yellow for Skylox, red and brown for Merome and turquoise blue and deep blue for Munchinguniverse. And if you'll kindly turn it over  there's two buttons on the back of each, to call the other pair. When one pair is calling, their button will light up and the talkie will vibrate.

"That sounds so dirty, Shadow," I say with a chuckle.

I know. Anyway, when you want to answer the pair, you press the button once. To hang up you press it twice and to mute the caller you press it three times. You got that?

We all nod.

Good. The houses will be ready by tomorrow morning, so in the meantime I've set up three tents about half a mile north. You'll need to stay there for the night until I can teleport you again and have the houses ready. The northern direction is behind Sky. Head straight from there and you'll find the campsite. I got to go, but when I get back I'll explain more things later. Baaaaaiiii.

"But-"

BAAAIIIIIII!!!!

There's a beep and a click, and we can no longer hear Shadow's voice. An awkward silence soon encases our group. That is, until Tyler breaks it.

"Well shit..." He says frowning. I attempt to push Ty off me and stand up. Key word; Attempt.

"Ty. You're still hugging me,"

"I know," I smile and lift him up bridal style. The guys mutter some 'Daaww's and 'Get a room you two!' at us and I set Ty down.

"We should get moving. Shadow said that we needed to get to the camps. And it's also becoming night. This time, this world is like Minecraft. Mobs will spawn. Lets go," Mitch says with a serious expression, walking past me and Ty into the forest. Jeez, what's his problem? I look at Jerome. His eyebrows are raised in surprise, but he just shrugs and runs ahead. Jason and Tyler follow. I look over at Ty. Wait, never mind, I look down at Ty. He's hugging my arm. I smile and ruffle his hair.

"Hey!" He pouts and fixes his hair, glaring playfully at me. I giggle and take his hand, walking after the others.

Wait. I just remembered something.

I stop briefly. Ty looks at me in confusion. Merome and MunchingUniverse hold up and look over at the two of us.

"Um...Sky? You ok buddy?" Jerome asks with a confused frown. A smile slowly crept on my face.

"Guys?" I say grinning like a madman.

"Yeah?"

"We're home,"
