Naruto apparently wasn't paying much attention to his surrounding as he had bumped into someone and the sad truth was that he was physically smaller than the other person. Like way smaller. So it meant that poor little Naruto had fallen straight to the ground, landing on his behind painfully. Naruto avoided the gaze and was trying to gather his fallen belongings quickly. He was in school grounds and bumping into people meant trouble for him. A pair of hands came into view, helping him with his belongings before a hand was offered to help him up. Naruto took it hesitantly, not willing to look up. "I'm so sorry." Naruto apologised, bowing.
"Nice to see you too Naruto-Kun." The deep voice he had grown to love in that short meeting met his ears, soothing his pounding heart quickly. Naruto's head shot up. "Itachi-San."
"So... Walk with me?" Itachi asked, he wasn't afraid to flirt, no. What he is afraid of was Naruto having another partner and not telling him until he embarrassed himself. He doesn't even know if Naruto is straight or not or bisexual or maybe he doesn't even like either sex which would mean that he was asexual. "Sure." Naruto replied cheerfully, grinning at the older male who helped hold half his stuff despite his protest. Itachi noticed people glared at Naruto whilst they walked past him. Naruto smile didn't falter as he kept chatting. Either he doesn't notice or that he was trying to ignore them.
The time had passed quickly with Naruto. Itachi realised that in the many years of his life, this was the first time he had felt true happiness romantically. He had hoped and prayed really hard that Naruto was gay but if not, he should be at least bisexual so Itachi had a chance with him. Please kami be on my side. Itachi sent his prayer silently. I'll have to know him better to be able to level up.

The next few weeks, Naruto spent a lot of time with said Uchiha and he was starting to realise how much he is starting to love the man. It wasn't just a simple crush. It was different, it felt different. I hope Itachi is at least bisexual. Please kami help me. Naruto thought to himself, unaware that Itachi had once had the same thoughts.
"Naruto... What if I told you I really liked you?" Itachi asked, almost sounding nervous. Naruto glanced up in surprise. What?!
"I really like you too. " Naruto said cutely, completely missing Itachi's meaning.
"No. I mean, really really like you. I love you Naruto-Kun. So much that it hurts thinking that you might not return the feelings." Itachi whispered, moving closer and pinned Naruto to the wall. Naruto gripped Itachi's jacket tightly, afraid that Itachi would disappear. "Are you sure?" Naruto whimpered out.
"Yes. I love you Naruto. I will say it as many times as it takes." Itachi said in a low yet firm voice. Itachi is the first person to ever love him. Others considered him friends but after his friends drifted away from him, he was constantly bullied. He was so scared of loving anyone. Everyone just stayed by him to trick him so he would make a fool of himself. "But I'm scared."
"I wouldn't hurt you Naruto."
"No. I'm scared I'll hurt you." Naruto whispered and Itachi pulled him close.
"No, you wouldn't hurt me." Itachi reassured and gently pressed his lips to the boy's forehead before trailing kisses down to his lips. The kiss was short and gentle.
"Will you be my boyfriend, Naruto-Kun?"
"Yes."

Naruto put on his grin as he approached his friends, engaging them in a mindless chatter but they seem distant... He wasn't sure if he was the on doing it or is it them but either way, the results is still the same. They were drifting apart. Can't let them know. They don't need to know. There is no need to bother them.
Sasuke frowned to himself, Naruto was kinda strange but he couldn't quite place his finger on what was weird about him. He made a mental note to go investigate.
