Naruto was acting really weird. Itachi frowned at that thought, the blond certainly was acting different. He noticed that the usually bubbly blond was getting quieter and quieter as the days gone by but when Itachi asked if there was anything wrong, a smile always flies back onto his face as if nothing was wrong. Naruto started getting tired easier. At the start, Naruto would seem to have endless amount of energy but now, Itachi wasn't even feeling a little tired and yet Naruto was. They had returned from their trip about a week ago and Naruto presented him a photo album that he decorated himself with little notes inside, it was the photos from their adventure. Sasuke seem to get more and more paranoid each day as he watched the blond. It was as if he was waiting for something to happen. It seems Naruto isn't willing to tell Sasuke either. Sasuke was always keeping at least one eye on Naruto at all times just as a precaution. He always kept the blond in his peripheral vision no matter what, unless it was after sending Naruto back home safely did he relax a little.

"Hey hey wait. Let me get my breath back." Naruto panted, holding out a hand as a signal to wait.
"Hehehe, a loser like you finally can't catch up huh?" Kiba joked and Naruto mock glared.
"Don't be ridiculous."
"How disrespectful you stupid!" Sakura screeched. "I don't even know why you bother existing!" Everyone stared at her in shock. She practically just told Naruto to kill himself indirectly. Kiba turned around to face her fully. "Listen up you b*tch. Just because you're dating Uchiha doesn't mean shit! You don't treat someone like that!" Kiba shouted, wanting to punch her in the face but a hand held him back. Sasuke. "Are you interfering because I'm going to punch your f*ing girlfriend, Uchiha?" Kiba sneered.
"That's right! Sasuke-Kun is protecting me!" Sakura said triumphantly.
"Knock it off Sakura, don't you dare say that ever again about Naruto or I'll break your neck myself." Sasuke snarled, letting her know exactly who's side he is on. He glared at Sakura before stalking off with one hand grasping Naruto's arm.

"Guys. Hold on. Need to rest, gimme a sec." Naruto gasped out, sitting heavily onto the ground. It has been a few days since the Sakura incident and she hasn't even dared to face Naruto or anyone else for that matter since then. she just kept her head low and her comments to herself. Sasuke frowned. "What's wrong dobe?" The nickname wasn't to insult him but to let him know that he could count on Sasuke. Naruto shook his head and flashed him a grin before getting up to continue their game of basketball.

"Are you alright Naruto?" Sasuke asked, getting really worried as he watched his bestfriend sway a little on his feet. "What? I'm fine! Totally fine!" Naruto said a little too quickly and fled the next moment a second of opportunity was presented to him. Why is he avoiding questions about his own health?

"Something is wrong with Naruto... I can feel it." Sasuke muttered, wringing his hands together.
"Is it as bad as your usual paranoia?" Itachi questioned. Sasuke wasn't the only one paranoid, Itachi was but he just hid it better. Sasuke shook his head. "Worse."
"Why?" Itachi asked after a moment of silence, Sasuke just chewed on his lips subconsciously. He looked up at his older brother. "I don't know. Naruto hasn't even been to school today."
"Really?"
"How did you not know that you're his bloody boyfriend for kami's sake!" Sasuke exclaimed as he jumped up and started gathering his phone and wallet and keys. "I'm going to check on him."
"I'll come." Itachi muttered, standing up as he scooped up his belongings from the table. The two brothers quickly made their way to the garage and left in Itachi's car. They were in front of Naruto's house in less than 10 minutes and Itachi may or may not have broken a few speed limits. Sasuke knocked on the door harshly, biting on his lips nervously. He was about to break down the door when it swung open. "Na- who are you?" Sasuke asked, staring at them suspiciously. Two women stood at the door staring back at them. They gawked and the two brothers looked at each other. They can't possibly be fangirls right? "He looks hotter than I thought." One of them whispered just as two other guys popped up behind them to see who was at the door. The two men paused to think about who it was before they had this sudden realisation drawn on their faces. "He has a really good taste in men." The taller man said in approval. The four turned their heads simultaneously towards the inside of the house. "Naruto!! Your boyfriend is here!!" They said, it sounded almost scripted.
"For the last time! He is not my boyfriend!" Sasuke and Itachi looked at each other as if conveying a silent message.
"Are you sure? Because if he isn't yours I'm taking him. Besides he looks way hotter than the first one that claimed to be your boyfriend." One of the women joked. There was a loud crash and some fumbling. "You have a husband! Don't you dare touch my man."  Naruto yelled from somewhere in the house.
"Come on on guys. I have no idea who you are but hi, hello to you too Naruto's boyfriend." They greeted, nodding to both Uchihas. They were led into the living room by the group of adults. Naruto was sitting on the ground, nursing his leg. "What happened this time?"
"Tripped and dislocated knee." Naruto muttered as a knee brace and ice pack was chucked at him. "Ow!" Naruto winced as the ice pack hit his knee. "Hey itachi! Hello Sasuke. What are you guys doing here?"
"We were worried about you dobe." Sasuke said, eying the other occupants in the room. Wrapped presents, wrapping paper, scissors, tape, ribbons and colourful markers were scattered everywhere in the area. "About what?" Naruto asked as he reached over to get his laptop to wake up.
"You weren't in school today and you didn't contact Itachi." Sasuke replied as one of the women was trying to hit the play button on Naruto's laptop but he pulled it away. "Play it!"
"You ready? You ready?" Naruto teased.

"Stop teasing! Just play the damn thing!" Naruto laughed and clicked play.
"OHHH!!!" The five exclaimed as the video started and it got exciting immediately. The two Uchiha blinked in confusion. Naruto paused it once the song finished. "Okay. That's enough touken ranbu musical for the day. My heart can't take it." Naruto joked. The women were both bouncing up and down, still too hyped by the video. "Too hot, too hot." Naruto chucked the cushion at them as he stood up and started gathering the presents.
"Let's go."
"Where?"
"You'll see." Naruto replied mysteriously without a backward glance he strolled out the door and to the car.
