Ani's POV

The day Blake went made me remember of the day when I left Ross. I don't know why this kept happening to me. All the relationship I have ever had, had to be ruined by stupid moving to another country.

Crawling into the blanket I laid on the coach and curled into a ball, hugging my knees to my chest.

The only thing I wanted to do was cry, cry over Blake, cry over my life and how unlucky I am in my love life. Maybe being happy isn't for me. Maybe this is my destiny. Suffering from a love.

Flashlight of my phone shook me out of my thoughts, hinting that I got a message. Not paying attention I continued crying until an annoying sound of my phone started getting on my nerves.

Whoever this person was, he/she wouldn't shut up.

"What?" I snapped at the person on the other line

"Someone's in a bad mood today?" Rydel's voice said.

I sighed, "You know what time is it Delly?"

"I don't care. What really matters right now is that you need a girl night and ice-cream. My place or yours?"

I smiled a little at her state "I'll come over. But not this late"

"Fine!" She groaned. "We can go out tomorrow. Meet me at the park." She said and hung up.

Even in the hard moments like this, she knew what to do to make a person feel better. Sure it's not that easy getting Blake out of my mind, especially when It's been only a few hours since he left, but a day with my besties can always help a little.

The next morning I felt a little better. Not because I was getting over Blake, but because I missed hanging out with my friends and this day was going to be only ours.

Rydel sent me an address, asking me to meet her at the ice-cream shop.

I freshened myself and stepped in a pair of blue jeans and while t-shirt. Putting on Blake's leather jacket and black vans I grabbed my skateboard and went out.

It was sunny outside. Small wings of white clouds were flattering in the sky, birds disappearing through them. Probably it's just my imagination thinking that everything's going to be okay.

As soon as I reached the park I texted Blake, asking if he has already landed. I noticed Rydel in the corner and grabbed my skateboard, walking towards her. But she wasn't alone.

I recognized the girl as Rydel's best friend Lori Crow. I've seen her on the TV and in the pictures on Rydel's Facebook. She seems a really nice girl and I can tell that her friendship with Delly is strong as ever.

"Hey Delly." I waved at Rydel as I approached her.

She stopped laughing at something Lori said and pulled me in a bone crushing hug.

"Can't. Breathe" I half laughed half coughed.

After another strong squeeze she let me go, now turning to Lori. She's been standing there watching our moment, a smile stretched across her lips.

"And you must be Lori" I said extending my hand.

"And you are Ani right? I've heard so much about you" she said shaking my hand.

"Right" I nodded

"Sorry for interrupting your oh-so-sweet introduction but I need an ice-cream so please can we eat already?" She grabbed out arms

Lori and I laughed as we followed her.

Choosing my favorite, chocolate, flavor, we bought ice-creams and decided to take a walk.

"Hold on" I stopped them, pulling out my phone. "How about a new pic for the fans?" I asked Delly

She grinned as she posed in front of the truck, with an ice-cream in her hand.

Smiling, I snapped a picture.

Luckily no one notices us and we took out walk in peace. No fans. No haters. Just us. Honestly I've missed this. After all this drama I needed a little break with my friends and thank to Rydel I got it. Of course I always had Luke, Emily and Hanna with me. Which reminds me of Blake. He hasn't texted me yet so I decided to text Luke asking if he has heard anything about him.

Have you heard anything about Blake? -A

Yeah. He was in a hospital today, running some tests -L

Oh okay -A

I texted feeling horrible. Why couldn't he just answer me. I know it's hard going through a breakup but after I told him about Ross I thought he would at least try to get in touch with me.

That's okay. I don't wanna pressure him into talking to me -A

Okay. But I know that you need someone. Wanna crush at my place tonight? We can watch Harry Potter all night :-) -L

I blocked my phone and went back to Lori and Rydel's conversation. I caught only a last sentence when they turned to me.

"So what do you think?" Rydel asked me, before licking her ice-cream

"About?"

"The carnival. We were talking about a carnival Ani" she sighed

"Sorry I was talking to Luke. I just wanted to know how Blake was doing"
I said feeling guilty

She looped her arm in mine and Lori's as we headed to her Car

"That's okay. But seriously wanna come to a carnival? It's kind of Hollywood Records party here."

"Sure sounds fun" I said "But do you know what we need to do right?"

"Shopping!" Lori and Rydel shouted at the same time making me laugh. Even though I've known her for half an hour I can tell that we'll be good friends in the future.
