Ross' POV

"Ross what happened?" Ani asks me worried as we pull away.

I try to blink away the tears. This is so girly. I shouldn't be crying over a girl who cheated on me.

I sigh as I look in her gorgeous eyes, taking her hands in mine. She shifts uncomfortably trying to get rid of my hold but I don't care. I tighten my grip around them.

"I'm sorry" I say as I take a step forward "I was a jerk to you, to Delly, to everyone. I was blind to see that a girl I loved has been cheating behind my back. I ignored everyone's comments and look where it bought me. I was too blind to see that someone loving me was too good to be true. I'm so sorry Annie" I finish and wipe a tear from my cheek.

I glance at Ani and she's standing there shocked not knowing what to do. Her brown curls are fallen onto his shoulder and I reach out tucking one of them behind her ear.

"Please say something" I whisper and bite down my lip.

She opens her mouth to say something and then closes it again like a fish.
"I-I don't know what to say" she stutters

"Say that you forgive me" I beg while whispering

She blinks "I can't..." She starts saying as she looks away but I slide my fingers under her chin and lift it up so that she can face me.

"Please" I whisper

"Ross, I don't..."

"Please Ani. "

She stays silent for a second but then nods " Okay. I forgive you"

I smile. Only she could make me smile even in this kind of situation.

I can't help but trail my eyes down to her pink, soft lips but quickly look away.

I like her. I have never stopped but I was too blind to see it.

I take a step backwards to stop myself from kissing her. She has a boyfriend. That dickhead who took her away from me.

I clench my fists and my knuckles go white. I inhale deeply calming myself down.

"I'm sorry you know" Ani says as she pulls the sleeves if her blouse down

I frown in confusion

"About Jessica. I know you loved her and it must be hard for you"

I nod in reply

"Do you want to go and grab some ice cream?" I suggest as we start walking in the park

"Um, I'm meeting Blake tonight. Maybe another time" She looks at me apologetically

My jaw clenches but I don't let the anger overtake me.

"Sure" I say and walk away, back to the hotel.
