Ross' POV

"Are you sure you don't want to tell me what's wrong?" I can't help but feel curious about that accident in the car. The way her mood changed so quickly makes me feel guilty.

"Nothing's wrong Ross" she says dryly.

We're sitting on the roof at the moment. I'm sneaking quick glances at Ani while she's starting at the city lights, being in deep thoughts.

It's already midnight. The cool wind is blowing and for a moment it's an awkward silence between us.

"Why can't you just tell me?" I demand for an answer.

"Because my answer won't change anything" she answers without taking her eyes off the city view. The moonlight brights her face and I can notice the tears welling in her eyes.

"You know you can trust me right?" I ask as I crawl closer to her.

She looks at me and smiles "I know"

"Then what's your problem?"

"I don't think I can handle this again" she whispered trying to hide a hurt.

"Again?" I frown in confusion. "What are you talking about?"

"You. I'm talking about you Ross." She says while looking in my eyes. "I can't believe you will leave in a few days" she looks aways as tears fall on her cheek.

I feel how my stomach knots and heartbeat quickens. I've been thinking about it a lot and each time it made my heart burn.

"Hey look at me" I lift her chin up so I can look in her beautiful green eyes "Everything will be different for this time okay?" I cup her face with my palm, wiping her tears away with my thumbs.

"We've already experienced this Ross. The long distance relationship doesn't last long. Especially if it comes to friendship" Her face becomes pale in no time and I kind of feel worried about her.

"Let's just talk about something else" I try to change the subject. She nods in agreement.

"I got a job as one of Valentino's designers" she squeals.

"Oh my god these are great news!" I grab her by the waist as I spin her in the air.

"Ross put me down!" She laughs before I gently place her down, back on her feet.

"You're insane" she fixes her shirt and tries to make a serious face but fails. "Please don't tell anyone" she warns me and I frown at her

"Why?"

"Because I'm starting it only after Summer and don't want anyone to know about it until I officially get it."

"I think I will keep your secret" I grin and hug her tightly.

"Ross?"

"Ummm"

"I think you will break my bones"

I look down at her as I chuckle and lighten the grip. After her hands are free she hugs me back and rest her head on my shoulder. The scent of roses hits my nose and I can't help but run my fingers through her soft hair.

"You know, your hair is much more better than mine" she chuckles before pulling away and breaking our hug.

"Thank you for ride Ross" she says while unbuckling the seatbelt as we reach her house.

"Always welcome" I say with and put the best smile on my face.

"Umm...well I think I will go now" she turns to the door but I grab her wrist what makes her stop and turn back to me.

"I want to ask you something" I scratch the back of my neck.

Should I say that? Or leave everything as it is? I mean we're just friends so nothing's bad in this right?

"Yes?"

"Umm I was thinking maybe you wanted to come with us to LA when we leave. You know, for the rest of the summer."
