Lilly POV
I was at mount justice with Conner. We were laying on his bed as he played with my hair. "You are so beautiful," he said. "I always am," I teased. He chuckled and kissed my forehead until we got alert. We rushed out to the common room. "Nightingale we need you and Super-boy to take Robin, Impulse, And Blue beetle on a mission," Batman said. I nodded as I look at Jamie. We got on the ship as I sat beside Jamie and whispered to him," you like Bart right." His eyes widen as he quickly shook his head. "I have an eye for love," I said. "I mean he's cool but I don't like him like that," Jamie said. I rolled my eyes and gabbed his hand. He looked at me. "Don't hide it. When you tell him it might be to late. Ya know reminds me of a story," I said out loud. "Yes I love your stories sis," Tim said. "So this guy let's call him Derek. Derek was reading in the study of his house when he heard a noise. He went to  another room where he saw a slightly older version of himself. The older Derek said he was here to help. He said to revel his feelings to a guy friend he liked but was scared. The older version said that he told the other guy let's call him Ross. He told Ross how he felt on his wedding day and all Ross said was,"too little, too late." Now he's watching Ross and his wife living happily ever after. So we found a time spell and came back. Of course Derek doesn't listen and the exact thing happens "too little, too late." So the process keeps on going until Derek confesses before the wedding  day," I said. Tim smiled as he heard the story. He loved them. Conner chucked. "That was meant for us," Conner said. "Somewhat," I said. "We're here," Conner said. "Good," Lilly said pulling her mask up. It was Joker and few other guys. I took Joker on. "Well nightingale I expected someone else,"he said. "Like who. Superman," I said. "No red hood," he said. I just began to hit him harder. "Listen well gale. This family will soon forget you. If you ever need someone you can always come to my side," he said. "I'm not going to be some Joker jr like you did to Robin," I said. "Remember my offer," he said going back. I rolled my eyes. Like I'll ever leave my family. "Let's go back,"Bart said. I nodded as Conner wrapped his arm around me. As we got back to Mt. Justice everyone asked me what Joker had said, but I kept quiet. This was not a choice that I could make like that. This is a choice that takes a lot of time.
