(Y/N) wondered if her plants were doing alright. Soundwave had clearly been taking good care of them, but these non-sentient life forms were still hers, and she had a right to worry. Unfortunately, that worry turned into an outward expression, and Orion noticed.

"(Y/N)," he began, "you look concerned about something."

"Nothing that really effects anything," she admitted, which was the truth, "just thinking."

         "I have been too."

Internally, the woman paled. Orion's expression was serious as he stared at the computer screen. He was figuring things out, turning what he's been told over in his processor. His faith and trust in Megatron were dwindling or had been snuffed out altogether. Either way, something was going to happen and (Y/N) was not going to like the outcome.

"Well, that's dangerous." She tried to joke it off, sitting down on the computer terminal. She was surprised when Orion scooped her up and placed her on his shoulder. "Orion, what's going on? You're not usually so- stoic."

     But Optimus was.

"I feel there is a deceit being played over our optics." He stated, confirming the woman's suspicions as her blue optics caught the computer pixelating.

"Orion, you're scaring me." (Y/N) whispered, curling into a ball as she watched the computer change the image of Optimus Prime (Some Autobot unknown to her), to Orion, both their optics widening. (Y/N) knew this didn't bode well for her. "But- you're not the enemy, you're Orion!"

"I don't understand it myself," he admitted, "but it may be best we take it up with Megatron."

Their wait was long, but not into the next day, the war lord entering with a smirk on his faceplate as he neared the computer terminal. (Y/N) had hidden herself from the silver titan's sight, watching carefully as Orion erased his findings, only for the previous research to be brought back on the screens. Orion was discreetly searching for (Y/N) with his optics while the revealed tyrant taunted the mech, but he couldn't find her. He watched his lost brother leave before quickly stooping to look for his human friend.

"(Y/N)? He is gone, where did you run off to?"

He peeked under the console, but the Archivist soon found her asleep on one of the keyboards. Orion was greatly confused but guessed she had crept out of his sight and fallen into recharge. How she didn't wake from Megatron's taunting, he was unsure, but it appeared she was a hard sleeper. He gently picked her up, this action waking her as she groaned her disliking.

"Can't a human get her beauty sleep? Gosh, even Laserbeak lets me nap when I'm with him." (Y/N) huffed, moving her slightly messy hair out of her eyes. She realized she needed a shower, but the Decepticons weren't equipped with human bathing facilities.

"I'm sorry, (Y/N), but I do not think they are as nice as you so claim." Orion held a very concerned and regretful look in his optics. "What do you remember while you were with the Autobots?"

         "Orion-"

"Please, (Y/N), I want the truth. You are my only friend now, I fear."

She was torn. For the first time, she was torn on what to do. She could continue with her lies and attempt to keep that single sliver of hope he held for the Decepticons, if there was one anymore, or play into the events so far.

She hadn't exactly aligned herself with the Decepticons. No mark adorned her skin or clothing to show such a dedication to their cause. (Y/N) only followed orders because she didn't care anymore. If she died, she died, there was no one to look for her aside from M.E.C.H. and other human governments, but they would either jail her or torture her to death. But Orion was a kind mech. Understanding and willing to listen, willing to befriend anyone willing enough to listen to him too, and care for him. He truly would make a fine Prime. He didn't deserve what Megatron had planned. His original thought was being thwarted anyway, so why not help the Autobots out?

She thought of her plants, and Soundwave, Laserbeak too. What she could do, was give Megatron his enemy back, and therefore his will to continue his conquest for Earth's energon, and its supposed conquering.

"I- Megatron said it was a side effect of Cybertronian drugging, but it's... almost hazy. Like I can tell there were faces, and someone leaning over me after being strapped down to a table." (Y/N) shivered, pulling her arms in close as she forced herself to choke on invisible tears. "I-I just remember pain before feeling relief, and suddenly I could see again! The medic, Knockout, said he made the optics, and they saved me from the Autobots."

"You do not actually remember seeing any of the Autobots I've done research on?" Orion questioned, holding both hope and fear within those words.

(Y/N) shook her head, blinking slowly as her current companion sighed.

"I'm afraid, they have lied to you as well, as I fear they have been lying to me. I'm sorry to tarnish yours and Soundwave's relationship like this. He may be the source of your brainwashing."

"Isn't that- I don't know, harsh?" She cringed. "Besides, Soundwave is the Third in Command, why would he be tasked with changing what I know and think about others?"

"Because he is proficient at what he does." Orion answered.

It was not long until two Vehicon guards were stationed inside the computer room, meaning that it had officially become a cell for the Archivist, and not a simple workspace. (Y/N) had made sure she was kept on the console, not wanting to end up beneath a pede if Orion decided to act out. She was not disappointed as the mech voiced his concern about the Autobots being in danger of Megatron's ire. The drones merely confirmed his suspicions as they kicked him down when he refused to go back to his terminal. He pleaded for them to stop, but when the small voice of (Y/N) screaming caught his audio, the mech slid back and subconsciously aimed at the Vehicons before firing at them.

He stared at the bodies that hit the floor before his gaze found the newly discovered weapons that had replaced his servos.

         "I'm... I'm armed?"

"Orion, why did they do that?" (Y/N) choked out. "Are you hurt?"

"Mildly battered." He transformed one servo back and gently picked up his human friend before charging out the door with her close to his chassis.

His hurry made him miss the important detail of where he had shot the Vehicon drones. Neither had been anywhere near where (Y/N) had screamed. If Orion had realized this, he would not have been so willing to trust the woman knowing she was not actually in any sort of trouble. This detail missed; he allowed her to point the way where she claimed they might be able to find a groundbridge generator.

"I saw Soundwave go into a room once, but he didn't come out again. I was with Knockout when it happened."

"From what I observed, he does have his own, personal groundbridge generator." Orion frowned.

"Well then let's hope you might be able to at least access a schematic of the ship."

To Orion's relief, it was a groundbridge generator, and (Y/N) was glad her optics held the entire ship's schematic as well as directional hints to where they were going. He activated the bridge, going after Megatron's last coordinates, and hopefully find who he truly was.

"Orion... what if you're wrong?" (Y/N) whimpered.

"I feel it in my spark, (Y/N)." He looked to the closed door that most likely would not hold long if someone realized they were in there and escaping. "We are not meant to be Decepticons."

With this last word, Orion stepped through the groundbridge, eyeing the gladiator waiting in front of what (Y/N) could only assume to be the infamous Space Bridge she only heard rumors of while on the Nemesis. Those rumors were true: it was far more intense than groundbridging.

Though her ears were not actually paining her, she pretended they did. Covering them and curling into a ball as they exited the groundbridge, until she feigned passing out altogether. She felt Orion place her in his subspace before engaging his newfound enemy, but it was a rather unwise idea as he was tossed harshly and (Y/N) was truly rendered unconscious.
