Megatron awoke with a strange pain in his helm. He heard the Prime groan from behind and peered at his enemy. The human caught his optic as well, somehow the closest to the heart of Unicron, well, where it was, anyway. He wondered how she got there, knowing Prime had left her with his team. He could only guess she had somehow followed despite his orders. Why she didn't take cover, however, escaped him. Perhaps this human was not as smart as he believed her to be.

The silver mech soon realized Optimus was still down, giving a horrendous smirk before unsheathing his blade. Heavy pedesteps brought the Prime from his stunned unconsciousness. He looked up at the war lord with wide optics, looking around carefully.

         "Megatronus... Where are we?"

Megatron stopped, staring at Optimus Prime. Or rather, Orion Pax.

He caught sight of (Y/N) getting up as well, her optics flickering to life as she too looked up at him. She did not seem as lost, however, and quickly stood. Orion stood as well, catching sight of the team of three barging through.

         "Optimus!"

(Y/N) dashed behind him, unseen by the others as they gaped at their leader, who failed to recognize them. They all soon looked to the groundbridge that appeared behind them. The three Autobots stood in stunned horror, while Orion was confused and Megatron gave a slight smirk. (Y/N) remained unseen by the three and Orion.

"Run Orion, they are our sworn enemy! Go!"

(Y/N) entered between their pedes, still unseen by the other three as they tried to lunge at the receding mechs and bring their leader back. She Jumped out of the way, stepping on her ankle incorrectly and hissed as she fell. Instead of feeling the floor, however, she felt a sharp shock course through her that made her yelp, and the Cybertronian that caught her take his servo back abruptly.

(Y/N) looked up at Soundwave, expression remaining as blank as his visor. Not a word was said about the shock, as both guessed it was merely because of the change in atmosphere and height, which the woman gladly realized was much higher, and her headache had lessened immeasurably.

"Something's not right with the big gun." She then informed, and Soundwave nodded as he went to speak with the war lord about this sudden new addition.

It was a long while, not a single soul was put in the loop except Soundwave. Megatron only addressed his followers, devoted and not-so devoted, after he had given his version of the story to Orion Pax. (Y/N) had been placed in her cell once more, a hanging platform of sorts that once held a few personal items, but now was barren aside from her parka and boots, which she did not bother to put on. She was overly warm, feeling feverish. No one was concerned about her, at that moment, however. The Decepticon vessel was all abuzz with the concept of Optimus Prime being aboard, memories forgotten or not. The only one who was mildly left in the dark was their resident human. She was not forgotten, however.

Megatron stood at the main computer terminal of the raised platform, staring out the false windows of the Nemesis into the grey skies of Earth below. The human female certainly did not cease with her own surprises. She was proving her mettle amongst metal titans, a very difficult thing to do, among Decepticons especially. Why she decided to return with him, he had not a clue. It seemed foolish, considering Megatron still was angry at the time after she had simply bounced off his helm as an alternative to get to Optimus Prime's shoulder, but as he thought of her actions throughout the journey through Unicron's very form, the more he realized her genius. Not only had she proven to him of her abilities and cunning plans, but she had also proven to the Autobot team that she was an asset. An asset that would be poorly missed.

The abrupt, dark laughter of Megatron froze the entire room. Vehicons glanced at each other to check if any of them might be in the line of fire if this sudden burst of dark mirth would lead to their demise. To their relief, Megatron took no violent action. Instead, he hailed for Soundwave, still with a smirk tickling at his faceplate. He knew Soundwave wouldn't be far off, and since he had been so fruitful in the dealings with this human, he was going to be the one to continue to keep this human around. Megatron chuckled once more as he thought of what the Autobots would do to earn both their leader and their useful human back, sharp denta glittering in the low light of his war ship.

"Soundwave," the mech greeted with a sinister grin, "I believe our human asset will need more energon for her optics. Make sure she gets it. Also, have Knockout repair any damages he might detect. She was within Unicron's spark chamber when our dearly beloved Optimus sacrificed his own memories. I suspect the implosion of Unicron's spark caused a gust of power to pull her from the entrance into the open chamber."

Soundwave nodded, but his master did not seem like he was done. The purple mech was right as Megatron chuckled darkly once more, turning back around to stare out the wide window-like screens of the Nemesis.

"Also, bring her into our little secret. I may have a role for her to play. Your project has been very fruitful, as I'm sure you know, so while her decisions have been risky, I realize these decisions were very well calculated. She risked only my ire towards her, an amusing but dangerous tactic." The mech paused, his arms folded behind his backplates as his digits twitched. "If she shows any signs of wavering her allegiance while in the presence of Orion Pax, terminate her."

Silent as always, Soundwave nodded his response once more. He had yet to understand why Megatron would allow the human female anywhere near Orion Pax. The softer personality of Optimus' pre-Prime state could very well sway her decision to help their cause, considering she was ready to give her energon supply to whoever crossed her path first. Also, it was told to Orion that the species of this planet were not ready for their presence to be known. Seeing a human aboard the Nemesis might make him ask questions that would unravel their plans of deciphering the Iacon databases. Megatron clearly intended for her to be near him at some point. For how long or when, Soundwave, again, was not told.

He entered the brig, easily finding the cell that held the human female. He entered with little ceremony aside from the opening door after a quick connection to one of his tendrils. (Y/N) looked up from her splayed out position, face flushed. Soundwave recognized it as a fever, but he attributed it to the abrupt change in altitude, from the very core of the Earth to its atmosphere.

-/bring her into our little secret/-

"Why?" she was also confused. This didn't seem like a wise decision.

-/I may have a role for her to play/-

"Megatron is being rather secretive," she stated, sitting up with her helm in her tiny servos, "When shall I be informed of my task?"

The mech merely stared, a swish of the metal door behind him announcing Laserbeak's entrance. He dropped an eyedropper into the woman's hands before connecting to his master.

"You don't know." She then stated, and let a drop of energon slide into her optics. They brightened with the added fuel, and her vision became clearer. "Your leader must still be in the process of planning it out then." She offered the eyedropper back, shaking hand nearly fumbling with it before it landed in Soundwave's outstretched servo. She held the shaking appendage gingerly, face still flushed, but her expression was blank.

Soundwave scanned her, having altered it to properly determine her ailments. He observed a rise in temperature, and increase in heartbeat, but other than that, nothing was amiss. Her core temperature was not life threatening, but the colder warship was definitely a helpful factor. He assumed it was the adrenaline and shock of dark energon being so near finally taking effect.

Offering a servo for her to climb on to, (Y/N) gingerly stepped from the hanging platform to his thin digits, being carefully cradled so she would not fall. The human woman relaxed in his hold, shaking beginning to ebb, and her strained intakes of air meant to cool her organic inner systems became less. Soundwave watched her for a moment as she fell into a light recharge. Her arms went limp, static charges, though small, brushing across his cold, metal appendage as the skin of her hands came in contact.

Soundwave thought nothing of it, assuming there was some electric charge connected to the happenings within Unicron's spark chamber, and she simply was releasing what was left.
