"I like storm chasing as much as the next guy, but June, seriously?" (Y/N) sighed, and the mother of one nodded, rubbing her arm. After giving the Autobots a lecture about the safety of the children, this certainly made her look a little foolish.

"I'm just glad Bee saved us in time. And Raphael was unharmed."

"I really don't think that's a concern anymore, the rest of your planet is in chaos!" Ratchet huffed, digits frantically clicking and running over the keyboard as he searched the News Broadcasting systems all over the Earth. "Snow in Hawaii, what's next, flooding in the desert?"

"Don't give mother nature any ideas." Jack cringed.

(Y/N) watched from the platform, keeping careful watch over Optimus Prime's life signature. He had left to find Unicron, but she doubted it would take long if what Ratchet proposed was true. That he resided in the Earth's core. If M.E.C.H. had known this, who knows what horrors would have happened already, but the woman was admittedly honored to see all this unfold before her very optics. She couldn't fathom what her old affiliation would have given to take apart the alien deity of doom and destruction. Well, actually she could: the very Earth itself and its inhabitants. Still, while both situations are tragic, (Y/N) was glad it was natural occurrences and ancient Cybertronian prophecy that brought the titan among giants to life.

"Optimus, have you found Unicron?" Ratchet questioned, but the voice that filtered through the comm-link was certainly not the Prime's as it sent shivers down everyone's spinal struts. "I'll take that as a yes."

"Get ready to roll out-" Arcee started but Optimus deflated the idea of going to provide back up.

:No, Unicron wants me, and me alone.:

"Uh, yeah, all the more reason to bring you back here." (Y/N) voiced her opinion, which was rarely ignored. "Keep you safe, and the team as well."

:I'm afraid Unicron can sense where I am, as he senses that I am a Prime. Even the Base's shielding could only mask my signal for so long against him.:

"Perhaps but it might just be enough time to figure things out, right?" Jack questioned, mostly to himself as he stared into space, thinking.

(Y/N)'s agenda was different, however. If Unicron was able to sense the Prime, even if he was confined to the missile silo, Megatron would surely follow the chaos bringer's movements, even if they were merely rock and clay avatars. Their base would be revealed.

:It's not a risk I am willing to take.: was Optimus' final statement on the matter, but as more avatars began to show, the team of three Cybertronians disobeyed his orders and entered the fray regardless.

"What if they don't come back?" (Y/N) bit at her nails in a worried manner, earning a friendly touch to her shoulder from June.

"They will. Trust me. You haven't been here as long as the children and I, but the Autobots always come through."

She was so confident, as if this was merely an army of Vehicon Drones. (Y/N) didn't understand how they were so confident in their guardian's abilities when they were clearly getting creamed on the battlefield at the moment. They weren't receiving much for updates on their situation, just the occasional grunt and alarmed cry from their open comms. It was only when the team of four seemed to be taking a breather did the humans and one alien start to get antsy for answers.

"What's going on out there?" Ratchet demanded.

:It's Megatron.: Arcee answered icily. :He's proposing a truce.:

"Megatron... that's the leader of the Decepticons?" (Y/N) had decided to make it as if she had never seen the grey titan. It was amusing to watch the Autobot's confusion when they asked her about him, but it made them question the Decepticon motives to keep her around opposed to her own motives to stay with the Autobots. A perfect mental diversion.

"Like he'd actually want a truce," Ratchet huffed, "it's a Decepticon trick! He aligned himself with Unicron the minute he took the Dark Energon."

:I wouldn't be so sure. He just saved Optimus' tailpipe.: Bulkhead grumbled, not at all excited about the fact.

The team of four came back after the idea of a truce was planted within their processors, and Optimus was the most willing to go through with it. June argued for the children's safety, Arcee and Fowler argued for the secrecy of their base's location, while Ratchet just plain hated the idea. Optimus, however, with the weight of Earth's survival on his shoulders, ordered for the war lord to be allowed within the missile silo. He would be carefully monitored, and the children would remain hidden from his sight. Even (Y/N), June and William Fowler. There would be no risks taken other than Megatron's presence alone.

When the titan stepped through the groundbridge, the very air of the Autobot base of operations stood still in wait for his next decision. Would he attack? Try to destroy the computers? What was going on in that war lord's helm?

"So, this is where the magic happens." Megatron hummed. "How quaint."

Before they could do anything, Raphael stomped out towards the metal titan, being caught by (Y/N), who stared up at the leader with wonder filled optics.

"You're Megatron-" she breathed out, confusing the mech.

"You do not recognize this human?" Optimus asked his old enemy.

"I do not forget a face, even that of a human." He answered, glancing at Jack, but only for a mere moment. He paused as his attention roamed back to the human under his control. "But this one, I do not recall, though her optics are peculiar. I doubt they are of your make."

"It appears not even the all-knowing Megatron is aware of his own lackey's horrendous acts." Miko sassed to the titan, who sneered at the girl.

"Miko." Jack pulled her away, and the children were well hidden once more.

Megatron watched (Y/N) carefully as she left, but the human didn't even give a second glance. He paid no mind to the matter however and continued to make the Autobots who surrounded him uneasy as he merely smirked at their battle-ready stances. He stepped slowly to the groundbridge terminal, ready to give Ratchet the coordinates to the very core of Earth. Inside the very deity they now had to fight. When they entered, Arcee wondered out loud how long they may have until Unicron notices their entrance to his systems.

"Make no mistake," Megatron glanced to the two-wheeler eerily, "he already knows."

"Then let's get a move on."

The group jumped at the sudden knowledge of a certain human woman being among them.

"(Y/N), you have made a very disappointing decision." Optimus stated, his voice clearly strained and holding back frustration.

"You know I can't go back unless we want to tick the titan off more, so let's go." She stated and started the trek towards the very spark of Unicron in front of even Megatron, who glanced to Optimus with an amused twinkle in his optic.

"Are all your pets like this?"

Optimus did not answer, only following Megatron as he took point. The mech of power nearly stomped on the smaller being, but she pretended to trip and was missed by inches. Arcee decided to pick her up with a glare, receiving nothing in return except (Y/N)'s silence. They found her behavior peculiar, even Megatron as he was not privy to having a setback, even if this human had been a helpful asset to his cause. The Autobots did not suspect any ill intent from their charge, however. If anything, they assumed she was hoping to help, even with a still healing arm with stitches embedded where the glass shards from her cannister tore deeper than others. They guessed she wanted to pay them back somehow, but this was very poor timing for her to feel brave.

It was quite the opposite, however. Though she did not show it, (Y/N) felt far from brave. Her optics were wide in the darkness of Unicron's body, masking the fear for strain in trying to see. She had yet to take full control of her optics and how they show her personality so easily. Her original lenses caused pain when she would move her face to show such emotions, so the human femme adapted to an overall emotionless state. She could just as easily fake her emotions, but if the Autobots had been more careful in watching her, they would have seen the inconsistencies of her optics and their emotional abilities.

When Bulkhead began to feel faint and woozy, Arcee finally put her down, the two leaders halting their advances toward Unicron's spark as Optimus looked back to his team. His optic brows furrowed in concern while Megatron simply appeared peeved. It wasn't his fault the biggest was clearly not the strongest against Unicron's potentially toxic energon that surrounded them. His attention fluttered down to the human, however, who remained alert at their surroundings as she walked on in front of them once more. The Autobots didn't seem to notice as they continued on, but their human charge seemed to not care that she could potentially die here. Either from Dark Energon exposure or simply being squashed like a bug. Whatever false identity (Y/N) had convinced them she was, certainly amused the war lord.

"What's that?" Arcee suddenly halted, and the unlikely team mirrored her as they listened.

"There!" Bulkhead pointed, swarms of strange creatures pouring towards them.

Bumblebee whirred his question of what these creatures were, earning his answer from a tense and ready Prime.

"As we are inside Unicron's body, I suspect they-" He was interrupted by a short squeak of alarm from their human setback, who had jumped onto one of the flying enemies and had been turned upside down in an attempt to be thrown off. She was not as easily be rid of, however.

Taking a knife from her pocket, (Y/N) plunged it under the creature's plating. Squealing in pain, the anti-body thrashed, shooting at anything and everything as (Y/N) steered it one way or the other with her embedded knife. Dark energon nearly seared her hands, but the long sleeve she had decided to wear kept most of it from touching her skin. She yanked the knife out once the creature had died and halted its crazed shooting, jumping off then landing on the war lord's helm before jumping to Optimus' shoulder plate once he was near enough. The Prime nodded to her, acknowledging her help, though it was clear he did not approve.

"There, the entrance to Unicron's spark!" Megatron decided he'd let the human live for now after that stunt.

"Great, now how do we get in?" Arcee continued to keep their attackers at bay as Bee beeped for Bulkhead to look out.

"We simply trick him into thinking that we are not a threat." Megatron answered and allowed the dark energon within him to be recognized by the giant before looking to Optimus. "We must make haste!"

Optimus set his charge down with the other three.

         "Remain here." He ordered.

"Fat chance." (Y/N) mumbled, and slipped through the closing entrance before the others could notice, sneaking behind the two titans.

Seeing a spark for the first time certainly made the human wary of her tiny existence, especially when that spark was ancient and very large. Mesmerized by its glow, (Y/N) dared step into the open, leaving what safety the entrance walls could have provided. The booming voice of Unicron made Optimus tremble as the power of his spark pulsed, but (Y/N) seemed just barely out of reach of the field of purple light, or Unicron did not sense her. She watched with wide optics as Megatron was taken control of, and Optimus Prime's helm nearly taken as a trophy. It seemed hopeless until the Prime stood, and his chassis opened. The human femme watched in awe, her hair flipping and impairing her vision as the surges of power collided, the blue field of light emanating from the Prime expanding. She peeked through her optics, daring to glance at the bright light, but a sudden surge of heat made her gasp, and a pull forced her off her feet as the light of Unicron imploded and left the three in darkness.
