"You are understanding of this mission and the consequences of failure?" Megatron questioned the human sitting in Soundwave's palm, who blinked, before answering.
"I am, sir."
"Repeat it." The tyrant ordered.
"I am to infiltrate the Autobot's base under the guise of an unfortunate human experiment. All the while keeping constant contact with Soundwave, if at all possible, within the enemies' dwelling. I am to gather intelligence to their plans and whereabouts, how many there are and report of new additions to the Autobot team. Also sabotage from within and gain trust through sympathy."
"No Autobot could resist a poor tortured soul." Megatron chuckled, a dark sound that would make deep, black waters ripple in fear. "As you have requested, you have been given one day to study what behaviors Soundwave has compiled of the three humans. Why this seems so important, I have yet to hear your answer."
(Y/N) nodded, willing to give her explanation.
"To know their mannerisms means I can adjust my actions to their liking. The more these younger humans trust me, the more likely I am to gain more sensitive secrets."
"Quite a smart little thing, for a human." Arachnid half complimented, earning a glance from the (H/C) haired girl in Soundwave's palm.
As a rule, it was ensured (Y/N) had little contact with the Insecticon (Arachnicon would have been more fitting, she believed, but did not voice her opinion). It was explained that the occasionally rogue Decepticon had a tendency to do what she wished to anyone unfortunate enough to cross her path. Did this provoke fear in the smaller being's heart? No. As any other dangerous being, she simply treated her with respect. If that respect was tarnished, however, that was up to Arachnid to see what may or may not happen.
"If I was not, there would be no use for me." The bold human looked back to Megatron. "I will begin my research of these humans as soon as I am dismissed. Is there any more you wish to speak with me about?"
The received response was a wave of the titan's servo as he turned to the main computer stationed at the raised platform amidst the hull of the Nemesis. He was no longer interested in the human's decisions, just as long as said choices did not halt the furthering of this plan. If all went well, then he could have the Autobots placed directly into the palm of his servo. They'd have no choice but to surrender. The war lord was hoping for her slow thinking to have remained, just to force the Autobot's sympathy to grow stronger. Their protective attitude toward the lower species would be their downfall. Perhaps he can have Knockout discuss this with the creature still aboard their vessel, or Soundwave, in his creative way of communication through recordings. Megatron had always found it amusing and quite creative, but not a surprise from the other mech. Soundwave had always been smart in his decisions and taking a vow of silence was not done on a whim.
As Megatron brooded over the screens, Soundwave had taken the human back to the medical bay Knockout so often preened himself in. If it weren't for the occasional patient, one would have thought it was an autobody shop. It mattered little to Soundwave what the vain, red medic did on his free time, just as long as his work was done. Unfortunately, the mech wasn't buffing his finish or staring at a computer screen. He was out for the night, street racing, far more than likely. That left Soundwave to inform (Y/N) of the recent order sent by his master, and to feed her.
Neither had to do the research of what was needed to sustain this human physically. She had been on her own for long enough to create an underground greenhouse within the mountains they were still mining (a slower process than was wanted but it was faster and safer than mining it with the mostly forgotten human forms), and she had hunted her own fuel. Why this race had to take a life to keep their own, Soundwave was unsure, but it bothered this human female little, so he did not mind the strange way of life. Although it did not vary from his own, be it when he was on Cybertron or even the Nemesis. Many times, he had to take a life to continue his own, but that was war. Practically the definition of it. And he didn't eat the unfortunate being that would cross his path.
"I believe I am in need of something to eat." The human in his palm, once again, read his mind. It was a rather uncanny ability, but Soundwave marked it as simple coincidences, considering they did not happen often. "Now that I am no longer going to be nocturnal, I must teach my body too process things naturally once more."
He had also considered this aspect of her human function. The result would most likely be a multitude of symptoms, making her appear sick rather than adjusting to an actual human lifestyle (one that wasn't nocturnal and had been alone for months in the mountains). It would certainly be a help to the guise of being a human experiment, as new optics would certainly not be the only thing Knockout would have done to her. A simple scan would show that was it, but her symptoms would certainly say otherwise. The silent mech wished he could watch the Autobot's confusion, but that was a luxury he would not bother to ask for.
"If your deductions are correct," the (H/C) haired girl in his palm began, "there is a very small chance I will be able to keep in contact unless I am allowed out of their base. That in itself is a very low probability considering the technical truth of being an experiment. They won't want me out of their sight."
The mech holding her remained silent. Of course his deductions were correct. They were rarely wrong, and he took good care that there was little possibility of an error. That's why he was so proficient, after all. Not very often was he duped, especially by an Autobot.
