Jason's POV

I was walking toward the front door, but before I could get there the door was blown up right in my face. I backed and waved a hand in front of my face trying to clear some of the smoke and dust.

"What in the world.." I said shocked.

I looked up and saw something I hoped never to see again. The robots from not to long ago. I was internally pissed.

"EVERYONE WE GOTTA GO! THEY FOUND US" I yelled loudly.

Luke came running down the stairs, with the others behind him. The robots chased us through the house as we ran for the back door. Once outside we all took flight, except for a few, we had to grab them.

I looked back to see that those things had freakin JETPACKS. Fuck.

"Oh come on, guys they have JETPACKS!" I exclaimed.

"What, aw man...." Luke looked back as well and saw the same thing I did

"Why the fuck did this have to happen!?" Julie cried.

"It's our life, sadly we have to deal with it, now fly ahead, I'll catch up later!"

I fell behind fast and hovered in front of the robutts. I waved my arms around to direct their attention to me.

"HEY ROBODORKS OVER HERE!" I shout

That got their attention fast, so I quickly started to fly circles around them, making their sensors malfunction. A small part of me hoped to god that what I had in mind worked. I then used the air currents to maneuver under and over them.

They finally shut down and dropped to the ground at a terrifying pace. Once hitting the ground they all exploded into multiple metal pieces. I then followed the scent of my pack and catch up with them quickly.

"So howed it go?" Luke asks.

"They all exploded, so pretty good." I replied.

All conversation stopped once we landed. I was trying to think up a plan for where we could start hiding again, when Drake, one of my pack mates, starts shouting.

"Hey guys there's a big abandoned house right through these trees!"

"What really?" I say shocked.

I look in that direction and see, he was right! There stood a house about two stories high, and had many windows.
A pool was in the backyard and no road was seen except a narrow dirt path, leading who knows where.

"Well guys looks like we found a new place to hide!"
