"He put you with Thistleclaw because he hopes you can get along with him. Whitepaw also has hopes too so he suggested the pair." Mosspaw replied. My brown tabby belt fluffed out. "Whitepaw!" I hissed across the clearing. He came bounding over with a quick word to Sunstar. "Yes Y/npaw?" He licked his chest fur before stepping forward and flicking a butt out of my pelt. "Honestly Y/npaw. Be careful where you pick up burrs." I huffed, impatient. "Why did you ask Sunstar to put me with Thistleclaw?!" I hissed. "Like Mosspaw said." He hissed back, standing up and whipping around, hurrying back to Sunstar.

I suddenly heard a shrill shriek. "Roseheart!" I ran to where the noise was and was immediately hit by the smell of blood. I looked down. "FEATHERWHISKER!" I shrieked. The medicine cat was there in an instant, cobwebs, daisy, borage, and honey. Roseheart was young but she'd been mated with Patchpelt. Her screeching was piercing my ear fur.

~Next day~

I walked into the nursery, Roseheart was still exhausted and I'd brought her some fresh-kill, her four new kits suckling at her side. "Have you named them yet?" I asked. "Why don't you name one, Y/npaw?" I widened my eyes. "R-really?!" I bounced. "Yes really." She purred with amusement. I looked at a black and white kit and said the first thing that came to mind. "Smallkit." Roseheart nodded approvingly. "He is quite small. Thank you for helping me Y/npaw."

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath Highrock for a clan meeting!" Sunstar yowled his summons. I dashed out of the nursery after promising to tell Roseheart everything later. Whitepaw was standing in the middle of the circle, pelt gleaming and groomed. "I, Sunstar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the way of your noble code and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." His eyes gleamed proudly. "From this moment, he shall be known as Whitestorm! StarClan honors your courage and bravery and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan!"
