Y/nstar's P.O.V

I basked in the warm new-leaf sun. Ravenpaw, Silverpaw, and Crowpaw were play-fighting by the apprentice's den. Moonflower looked ready to box their ears but she didn't. She loved her kits too much and Oakfur was hunting. Their mentors had a hard time keeping them calm when they trained them. Blackclaw trained Crowpaw, the only calm kit, Whitesky had Silverpaw who spent most of her time with Leaftail, and Firepelt had Ravenpaw, the kit was always running around and getting under other cat's paws. Dustclaw walked over and sat down, Fireclaw, Blackclaw and Leaftail followed. Blackclaw sat away from Fireclaw who shook his head and sighed. "Y/nstar. Have you noticed that Firepelt seemed fed up with Ravenpaw today? Any cat would say he's about ready to confine him to his nest." He purred with amusement. I let out a mrrow of amusement. "Firepelt!" I called my deputy, and son, over. I got up and walked over to Ravenpaw, grasping his scruff and hauling him backwards. "Ravenpaw. Come with me. Firepelt and I must speak with you." I walked out of the camp, the brambles scraping my sides comfortably. I sat in the sandy training hollow and waited for them to catch up. Firepelt looked at me with a questioning glance. "Ravenpaw. Tell me. What's your favorite piece of fresh-kill?" I asked. "Probably mice!" He flicked his tail in the air proudly, orange eyes gleaming in the moonlight. He blinked and for a heartbeat I thought he'd disappeared, his fur color was black so he blended in perfectly with the night sky. I dipped my head. "Ravenpaw. What do you like to do when you train?" I asked. He tilted his head. "I don't know. I normally just pretend like you're watching so I try my best with everything. Wanna see my crouch?" He asked excitedly. "Ravenpaw I can't see you. Your fur is black." He sat up. "You're right. Sorry I totally forgot." He sighed. "It's okay. We can wait until sunrise to see it, then get some rest." I dipped my head and whisked past him.

Every cat was running around in a panic, Leaftail was sick and nobody knew what to do. Silverpaw was checking her heartbeat and running around with herbs in her jaws. She listened again and gave her some yarrow, waiting until she threw up to see what happened to her medicine cat. Her blue eyes concentrated on the medicine cat and the medicine cat only, telling cats to back off when they got too close. I whimpered when Silverpaw started panicking and in only a few short heartbeats, my adopted kit was dead. I let out a yowl of grief and Dustclaw joined me. We now had no medicine cat and my 'kit' was dead. I fought the panic that threatened to overcome me and swallowed a whine. Firepelt, Bluepaw, Redpaw, Ravenpaw, Crowpaw, Cloudpelt, Sandtail, Goldfur, and Stormpelt were watching me. I gulped and took a step back. I didn't want this. I yowled and collapsed to the floor, Oakfur, Silverheart, Stormpelt, Firepelt, Fireclaw, Crowpaw, Cloudpelt, Sandtail, and Goldfur pressed against me immediately. I whimpered and buried into Fireclaw's fur at random.

A moon had passed since Leaftail's death and Silvertail, formerly Silverpaw, had taken over with permission from Firepelt and I. Crowpaw and Sandtail were getting strangely close and often took walks together and I knew what it meant. Cloudpelt walked up to me today and sheepishly told me that Oakfur and Moonflower were no longer mates after a huge argument they'd had and now Moonflower was expecting Cloudpelt's kits. I sighed. So much drama in one Clan. I dismissed him and leaped into the tree. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath Tall Tree for a Clan meeting!" Crowpaw looked cool and collected though the young toms tail flicked nervously, his brother and sister on the other paw looked ready to burst with pride. "Crowpaw from this day forward you shall be known as Crowflight!" I purred, touching my nose to his head as he licked my shoulder respectfully. I turned to Ravenpaw. "Ravenpaw from this day forward you shall be known as Ravenwing!" I touched his head with my nose and he licked my shoulder. I stepped back and started chanting their names. "According to ancient tradition, Crowflight and Ravenwing will sit vigil while we sleep! But first let us hold memory and honor to our fallen medicine cat! Leaftail!" I dipped my head and licked my lips sadly. I looked up and muttered. "May StarClan love her the way we did and cherish her more than we did. I know she would've been a wonderful mother if she had chosen the path of a warrior instead of a medicine cat..." A warning yowl sounded behind me. I looked back and noticed a familiar pair of amber eyes staring at me. "Rainpaw." I growled. She leaped down and I noticed immediately her skinny, pitiful frame. "Oh Y/npaw I need your help! Please!" She begged. Every cat gasped when she called me Y/npaw. "It's Y/nstar of MoonClan. Why should I help you since you never helped me?" I growled. "Please! They kicked me out of RiverClan for having a relationship with a WindClan cat. He came with me!" She whimpered. A gray cat with blue eyes walked out behind her, his muscles showing beneath his fur. "Please help us..." He whimpered. "She's moons pregnant with my kits and they're chasing us to kill us!" He whimpered again and jumped as a twig snapped behind me. "Ravenwing, Blackclaw, Crowflight take it easy. I guess we should take pity on you two but don't think for an instant that we're not going to watch you. You will sleep at day and hunt at night. MoonClan is strong and we will not be disrespected by my enemies." I growled and whipped around to face three of my cats. "Take them to the medicine den and have Silvertail look after them, they smell of disease and absolutely reek. Take them to bathe in the stream first and then get them to the medicine den so she can see their wounds properly. I don't want them getting my Clan infected just because I was being so careless." I shook my head and yawned.

Moons passed and Redtail, Blueclaw, Rainflower, and Graywing, that was the cat Rainflower brought, were some of the most skilled fighters and warriors. Firepelt died bravely, protecting his Clan from dogs who had found the camp. I am still grieving for my lost kit. Firepelt died in his effort to protect Dustclaw who had died of his wounds shortly after. Leafpaw, and Swiftpaw, my kits with Blackclaw, were chasing their mentors around the camp. Ravenwing, my new deputy, sat next to me and I glanced at him. "Anything?" I asked. He shook his head sighed. "No. I know how badly you want to get at it. That mangy furball did kill your son and mate but what if Firepelt did so much damage it doesn't want to return?" He ventured. I hissed. "It's out there! And I'm going to be the one that kills it!" I lash my tail. Swiftpaw walked over and sat next to me. "Y/nstar. Why did you just yowl? Every cat is looking at you." He asked. I looked at him, he looked like Blackclaw but he was already bigger than his father. Leafpaw on the other paw, looked like me but was tiny like her father. I shook my head and leaped down into the Clan. We were getting into the habit of waking in the sun and sleeping at night like other Clan cats so we just went with it. One cat even suggested we call ourselves SunClan but I refused. MoonClan was perfect as it is. I stretched and heard a pop! as my hindleg stretched. I could feel it wasn't dislocated because it didn't hurt but instead felt good.

I yawned and licked my lips as I woke up, the sun shining in my eyes and I hissed. I sniffed the air and let out an alarm yowl. I ran out of the camp and watched as ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, and ShadowClan sat outside the barrier. A silver cat with blue eyes walked up to me. RiverClan. She dipped her head. "Hello. I am Silverstar. I am leader of RiverClan. We ask for your help." She seemed to struggle to find her next words. "I am Y/nstar. Leader of MoonClan." I growled. Blackclaw (I know this is a Whitestorm x Reader but like. Lax off for a bit please), Fireclaw, Blueclaw, Silvertail, Moonflower, Crowflight, Cloudpelt, Sandtail, Stormpelt, Whitesky, and a few other cats lined up beside me. Silverstar did not look intimidated. I glared her down and the other three Clan leaders lined up beside her. I growled at the ThunderClan leader. "You are?" I asked him. He sniffed rudely and sat. "Whitestar." My eyes widened and an image flashed in my mind of an identical cat, his amber eyes gleaming with pride. I stiffened. "I will speak only with the leaders of the four Clans. My warriors will sit with yours. Please feel free to mingle." I flicked my tail and stalked into the camp, yowling out my order and walking into my den, thanking StarClan that it was large and wide. I sat and turned to the two leaders who didn't introduce themselves. "And you two are?" I looked them straight in the eye, best I could anyway. The dark brown tabby with a splash of white on his chest dipped his head. "Brownstar of WindClan." I looked at the ShadowClan leader. "You're not Firestar so who are you?" I growled. He looked shocked that I knew Firestar. Heck I didn't even remember him. He regained his composure and sat up straight. "Crowstar of ShadowClan. Son of F/W/Ncloud and Coldstar." He held his head up boldly and I remembered in a flash six she-kits and toms. Three she-kits and three toms. I shook my head and looked at them all. "As you all know I am Y/nstar of MoonClan. What can I help you with?'" I looked at Whitestar who dipped his head. "We are traveling away from the forest for our homes can no longer support us. We wish to seek shelter with you for a while. We have reason to believe that your Clan will be next." He broke off as Crowflight skidded into my den. "Y/nstar! One of our warriors has gone missing! A ThunderClan queen is crying that her kit is gone too!" I scowled. "Send out a search party immediately! Take one or two cats from every clan to help! Take the best trackers from each one and leave! Hurry before it is too late!" I bristled and he nodded, streaking out of the den immediately. I looked at the leaders. "I hope it was okay for my warriors to take your best trackers for this. StarClan only knows what sort of mischief they could've gotten themselves into." A panicked yowl sounded and I raced out of the den with the other leaders at my heels. I skidded to a halt in the center of the clearing. It was back.
