4: "Come here. Let me fix it."

"Come here. Let me fix it."

Your day had been one of the worst. Everything was going wrong from the coffee machine breaking to your editing software deleting every video you attempted to edit.

And now, you picked up the necklace Simon got you for your two year anniversary and it had tangled beyond belief. You felt your eyes start to water.

You weren't meaning to cry, but you felt as if everything had gone wrong today. It was as if the world was against you without remorse.

You had heard Simon walk in, wiping the few tears that had fallen before sighing. "Hey, baby." He told you as he set his keys and phone down on your dresser. "What's wrong?"

You looked up, the necklace laying in your hands. "My necklace tangled and I didn't mean to cry but everything has gone wrong today and it's like the world is against me." You ranted, seeing him frown in response.

"Hey, it's okay." He told you, holding out his hand. "Come here. Let me fix it." He told you as he sat down on your bed.

You sat beside him, watching for a minute as he tried to untangle it. "Why don't you go downstairs and make yourself some tea? Start a movie and relax a little?" You nodded, standing up to walk downstairs.

After about ten minutes, you stood in front of the kettle, pouring in the hot water into your cup. You jumped slightly as you felt a string of cold chain wrap around the front of your neck.

Simon lifted your hair over it before wrapping his arms around you, placing a firm kiss on the back of your head. "The world isn't against you, love." He whispered.

You smiled lightly, grabbing the tea you had made and making your way to the couch. Simon sat next to you as you began a movie, pulling a blanket over the two of you as you cuddled into his side. "Thank you. I love you." You whispered lightly.

"I love you more."
