Disrespect the demon

"Come along, (Y/N)," Sebastian urged, "and make sure you don't drop the tray again,"

I wouldn't have a problem with carrying the tea, and even if I did I would be able to catch it like I did before, after all, being a half demon isn't all bad.

"I can handle it Sebatian,"I say, "and anyway, how is fighting the Earl gonna help the party? By the sounds of the letter Lady Elizabeth got, it sounds like we should be working non stop."

"We will," Sebastian said, "however the Earl could really use the practice, after all this party might get a little... Hectic. He could use all the protection he can get, and even if he can't completely defend himself, we should learn how good your swordsmanship is."

" What could possibly get so hectic about a party?" I wondered, "I mean, there can't be that much that could happen. I have never been at a party with nobles but I assume no sword play is at work,"

"I am going to let you in on a little secret,(Y/N), this is more than just a party," Sebastian said, we're gonna need all hands on deck, and given what Lady Elizabeth has said about you, I hope we can rely on your help,"

"I knew it!" I accidently mumbled, making the possible demon stare at me.

"Knew what?" he asked clearly suspicious.

"Well," I began, "When Lizzie read me the letter you sent, she mentioned that lord Phantomhive was the Queen's guard dog, and, well I've heard stories. So I suspected that this party could be more than it seems, and it turned out I was right."

"Well, aren't you clever," Sebastian mused, "Come along, this way,"

Sebastian let me out to the courtyard where a garden stretched on for at least a quarter-mile. He let me over to a hedge maze, where Lizzy and Ciel were sitting. It was amusing how energetic Lizzie was in comparison to the young Phantomhive's cold energy. Almost like she was trying to transfer her positivity to him.

The sight of tea gave Ciel an almost hopeful glance at the thought that he could make the conversation they were having shorter.

He was correct, but not in the way he had been expecting.

As soon a Sebastian put the tray down he immediately put out the proposition of me fighting Ciel out.

"You want me to do what?" Ciel squaked, "why in the world would this girl be a worthy opponent for ME?"

"Young master please don't be so quick to assume, I believe the potential of this girl is tremendous." Sebastian credited.

"He's right, Ciel, I've seen (Y/N) do incredible things—"

"I don't care, I'm not going to duel someone who is so clearly beneath me."

Oh, that's it this little bitch is gonna get it.

"For your information, Phantomhive, I believe that I could kick your ass, and I'm pretty sure the only reason you're refusing to fight me is because you know it to," I replied with rage in my eyes almost certainly changing to a dark shade of red instead of my usual (e/c) tone based off of the shocked look Ciel gave me.

Good. Be scared.

I was about to approach him gripping my sword to scare him, until a swift wind picked up behind me and the jet-black butler stood between us with a butter knife to my throat.

"I would advise caution miss (L/N)," Sebastian whispered to me, just loud enough for me to hear, and just quiet enough to be threatening, "the young master may not be threatening to you, but I'm sure I am to you."

I look up to get a good look at the man that just might kill me.

His eyes, they're glowing.

Demon.

Demon!

"Demon...
