I awoke the next morning at 5 so that the team could take the train together to the semi-finals. I wore a green tank top with long skinny jeans and white ankle high white converse with Makoto's swim jacket, slipping on my orca bracelet along with the choker I pulled my crazy hair into a very high ponytail. I then grabbed my swimming bag and my goggles before heading out the door and headed to the train station, I spotted duckling first since he was jumping up and down and up and down. I humored myself by moving my head to the rhythm of his jumps and I saw Rei and Gou spot my actions causing G to giggle and Rei to smile but keep quiet, finally, duckling looked at me and stopped and I walked to them standing beside Haru saying, "Have I got a headache!" We all laughed and even Haru had a small smile on his face, when the train got there Makoto was still not there and I stood there as I was then drug onto the train by a sprinting Makoto. We all landed in a heap on the train floor making us once again burst out laughing.

I looked at Makoto standing up pulling him to his feet I asked, "BFG what made you late?" He gave me one of his soft smiles and said, "My alarm didn't work...and then I got your morning text and I rushed to get ready...and yes I ran all the way here!" I shook my head at the loveable man and duckling asked, "Gee Makoto are you feeling alright? Your face is all red!" I knew Makoto was blushing at my concern for him but said nothing and I said, "Duckling if you had to rush AND run ALL the way here wouldn't you be red in the face too?" We all laughed at that one and I leaned a little on Makoto who smiled down at me and I watched the landscape change outside was the train roared down the tracks to our destination. Rin stood next to me and asked, "So are your parents ever going to watch you race?" I looked at him with surprise and said, "I really don't know...perhaps..." I then got a facetime request from Alfie and I said, "Guys you wanna meet one of my adoptive brothers?" Duckling nodded and said, "Yes please Ana-chan!" I smiled at him and clicked answer and Alfie popped up with Arthur, Francis, and Mattie behind him, it looked like they were in some type of airplane but thought nothing of it as he shouted, "Ana! How's my sister!" I laughed a little and said, "Good! We're headed to the swim meet..." I saw Arthur and France raise an eyebrow and Arthur spoke up asking, "We?" I smiled and placed my phone lower so they could see everyone gather around, they all waved and the whole way there we were on facetime and about 3 miles from our destination my family yawned and soon Alfie, Francis, and Mattie were asleep leaving Arthur there with sleepy eyes. I smiled softly at him and said, "Artie go to sleep I'll be fine I have the guys..." He yawned and tried to argue but couldn't and he sighed saying, "Okay love...night..." And like that he was out like a light, I softly sang to him lost in my own world and to my surprise, I heard a guitar beside me and an older Japanese man strumming while smiling at me. I smiled back and as I sang I saw the respect of my teammates shine in their eyes, I sang to each before looking at my phone once more and I said softly, "Night dad...sleep tight." I then logged off and for the rest of the ride, it was nothing but the strum of the older man's guitar and me.

When we reached the station and we heard a word from Gou that the meet was postponed until tomorrow because of the rain, as quickly as we could we make our way to our hotel room. The 6 of us looked at each other and Rin said, "I call top!" Rei rolled his eyes and sat on one of the queen beds that duckling was jumping on, I smiled at them and Haru climbed up the other bunk thus making Makoto and I share the last queen mattress. I sent Haru a playful glare and he only mouthed 'tell him or I will' well geez that made my eyes snap open, duckling stopped jumping on the bed and asked, "Can we go exploring?! We still have time!" Makoto smiled and said, "I think that's a good idea...what do you think Haruka-san?" Haru only nodded once but Makoto caught it, I cheered and said, "Come on gang!" I laughed as duckling latched his fingers around my wrist and began to pull me behind him as he ran, 'yup' I thought 'he's just like Italy...well for the most part anyway'.

As we all ran around the festival we all got lost and separated, Makoto and I stuck together and he shyly asked, "Are we, friends?" I looked at him and smiled turning to look at the ocean, "..." I could tell my poor gentle giant was waiting for my answer and I looked into his beautiful breath-taking eyes and said, "I like you too...but I'm not sure if it's romantic or not" He breathed out and then smiled at me spinning me around making me squeak as he laughed at my reaction and he held me and said sweetly, "I'll always be here for you...boyfriend or not." I smiled at his hopeful face and said, "Thanks, BFG."We headed back to the hotel room after Rei texted me that everyone was safe and to come back to hotel room, then once everyone was fast asleep in their beds we cuddled and fell asleep. 'Do I like him like that? I think it's more brotherly but he wants more...' I thought as I looked at his face before letting myself fall asleep.
